Great atmosphere and delicious food with passionate service... The creme brulee which is there menu for past 25 years is a must one to try out plus the cheese platter n wine from pegasus bay...

We ordered 5 course menu. Flavor of the food is okay, however needs more seasoning especially the soup and venison. Fish was lovely I feel like the staff / waiter didn't really care about us. We need to ask for our dessert if its ready and it has been 40 min already. In total we waited 55 min for it. They also didn't bother to explain to us the dish very well. Definitely not worth of my $104.

Over priced wine (less than standard drink serving size), shocking service and the first restaurant that I have been to that managed to cook lamb racks so badly I could hardly eat them. Even I can cook lamb racks better than was cooked here. Very poor experience. Just saw the response. I was not there the night before I wrote the review. I can assure you I was at this restaurant, I did have lamb racks, I have never been back and I have told many people of my experience. The response is certainly an expected response from the arrogance I experienced when I was there. Don't waste your money, you will get better service and food at the Burger King over the road.

1. Ambiance, firstly there was a group of noisy people dining beside which you would not expect from a restaurant like that. 2. Food, was good except for the fact that we had to wait 50 mins for the dessert. We were asked if we want a break but we clearly stated no. I had to ask the waiter if the dessert was ready and he said "ill go check". 3. Service, lack of information about the dish. And we felt like the staff didn't care about us. They didnt even asked if we like the food or not which is hospitality 101. I usually give tips but not this time. Overall. Restaurant is not all about the food. It is also about the service and how the restaurant wants it to be felt by the customers.

We had been looking forward to visiting this Restaurant for a long time. The main detractor for us was the length of time between courses. There was about half an hours wait between each course and coupled with the very small portion sizes we were all still hungry after the mains. We would have stayed for dessert but 2.5 hours had already passed and we didn't want another half hour wait just for that. The food tasted great but leaving a restaurant hungry is never a good thing.

We found this restaurant walking along the street. Now the food was expensive ($40 for gnocchi) but delicious. There is an extensive wine list but the most expensive I've ever come across. A small glass of wine cost $24 - and they have a very tacky measure line on the glass. Waitstaff weren't terribly friendly or attentive and took 30 minutes to give us some water

I gave saggio's 2 stars instead of one because the waiter accommodated my partner by getting him a chocolate yummy drink that was not on the menu because he wanted one and it was on the house and also because the decor of the place and food presentation was nice. However, me and the 3 other people I was with all agreed that the food had no flavor and it was very dull to eat and unstimulating. We were left hungry, with a big bill and no trust in the food, so we went across the road to strawberry fare to have desert.

Food and dining environment were OK. Not as special as anticipated. Wine recommendation was very mediocre. Duck breast main was nice. But steak tartar lack of flavour.
