Sahaa Beach Resort

This place might have been beautiful once, and the grounds actually still are. But it’s not in good shape now. Some of the furniture was broken; there was no weatherstripping in the doors so insects could get in; the locking mechanism in the doors was glitchy and the doors wouldn’t stay closed without being locked, so we were constantly having to fumble with it; the bamboo walls in the bathroom - which was not air conditioned - were frayed at the bottom, allowing insects to enter. That said, the bed was comfortable, the shower was strong, the A/C was effective (and you REALLY need it), and the staff were responsive. We splurged on the room with the private plunge pool, which was great although the bamboo walls around the pool is in poor condition - really no privacy. The main pool was very nice. We ate at the restaurant a few times and while many items were unavailable, what we did get was tasty. The Sunday breakfast is a buffet - very nice. And of course you are immediately across the street from the beach - not a talcum-powder white sand beach (I think you have to go to the islands for that) but a nice calm place to cool off. The area seems largely a vacation spot for expat Chinese and Cambodians. We enjoyed the vendors on the beach selling charcoal-grilled seafood and veggies.

Very nice place and friendly staff. Facilities and rooms would need some renovations as well as the garden that is not well maintained and attracts lots of mosquitoes. Average breakfast for western guests. But still a good deal at current rates.

why isn’t there a 0 star option? absolutely mortifying, i have been in better guesthouses. Everything is covered in algae and everything is dirty and disgusting, the bathroom looks like my worst nightmare, if u care about ur health please don’t come here, i know what i am talking about this is the SAHAA BEACH “RESORT” this is NOT a wrong review, i hate this place, if ur scared of dying, avoid this place, my classmate died from dengue fever, ur chances of getting it increases 40x by every second ur in the vicinity of this place. NOT TO MENTION: my sister booked for TODAY, then they book her room for July 9. The pictures are nothing like what u get in real life, if ur a bad person and ur interested what karma gets you, just come here, free hell.

Travel with my family , location is the best. Value for money. The room is great however the bathroom nearly same size as room itself. Bathroom is in open air space therefore, the bug and mosquito enter room via bathroom.Beside , everything is seem reach my expectation. I will be back for more nights to stay.

The rooms were clean and comfy. The location was literally across the street from the beach which is busy, but not noisy. The lobby, restaurant especially pool areas were nice overall atmosphere was very relaxing. I really enjoyed swimming with my daughter. On the other hand, the staffs were very friendly and helpful through out our stay. Moreover, the price was so reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel location is very goods close to the Otres Beach, very quiet, and the staff are very helpful (specially the evening girl waiter she's so helpful), nice breakfast and specially I like Beef Lock so much I have order twice time during my stay, and my wife she like deep fried spring roll so much too, we are so happy for our stay. Cheer,||And I will come back again for sure, highly recommend this hotel.

The food, the ambiance is very nice, staff also so friendly. BUT since the last time, it is not as clean as it was before. The floors were really dirty and the bathrooms could be cleaner and smell better.

We stayed for 2 night in a room with private pool and the very next room. The rooms were nicely organized and cleaned. Ceiling fan and A/C available. The design of the rooms with sliding doors shows the limits of the system in a humid environment. The bathrooms are accessible with the same system and offer an open space. The beds are comfortable and bedding is clean. The restaurant food was good, and the happy hours from 5:30pm was appreciated! Be aware of the mosquito season when you arrive there and plan for white vinegar to apply in order to stop the itching. The staff is friendly and discreet. The sandy beach was clean in front of the resort. Although I cannot say that it was cleaned by the resort or not. We will consider going back!
