Lovely old hotel, walking distance to the river, tourist attractions, coffee shops. Bathroom with bath and shower. Loved my hard bed, daily water available, tea and coffee. ||A great service with the concierge organising a driver, tour and lunch one day. ||The hotel is busy with tour groups, this gets loud with people departing early morning or coming in later at night. People running up and down the corridor and talking really loudly. Construction going on during the day, lots of jackhammering. ||The breakfast has a lovely outdoor setting, lots on offer, buffet style. Can get very busy early morning with tour groups. ||Pool area is nice, the pool needs some maintenance with broken tiles, very chlorinated. Children swimming in the pool either fully clothed or completely naked. ||We were offered a late checkout of 1.00pm.

Although this hotel has earned its 5-star rating, we don’t believe we would choose to stay here again. Our experience was somewhat disappointing, as we found that only one staff member truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. This was the gentleman who arranged our dinner cruise on the river, who was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for our evening. Unfortunately, we expected more from the rest of the staff and felt that their service did not match the hotel's high reputation.

The Worst Hotel Experience - Valencia Hotel Da Nang Beach HotelGeneral SpacesValencia Hotel Da Nang Beach Hotel is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Let’s start with the general spaces. The elevator looks like it hasn’t been maintained since it was installed 20 years ago. It’s covered in scratches, rust, and spilled liquids. The hotel has a corridor-style floor plan, with some areas having windows and others completely lacking them. The corridors are dimly lit (I have no idea how it will look on night), except for the far ends where windows are present. However, the windows offer a view of a garbage dump, which is far from pleasant. The corridors themselves are extremely narrow, barely allowing a single adult man with one suitcase to pass through. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the room lock, but it looked just as worn-out as the metal plates on the corridor floors. The RoomMoving on to the personal space—the room itself. My room had a window, but it opened into the corridor where everyone passes by, offering zero privacy. The walls were paper-thin, and I could hear every conversation happening in the hallway. Everything in the room was as worn-out as the elevator, from the kettle to the bed. Scratches and scuffs were everywhere. The cleaning was superficial at best; it seemed like the floors were mopped once, and that was it. Everything else was dirty. The fridge and trash bin were filthy, as shown in the photos. The toilet was even worse—there were remnants of the previous guest’s waste, which is simply unacceptable. It’s shocking that the staff doesn’t perform basic checks. The bed was extremely hard and creaked loudly with every movement. The only redeeming feature was the bed linen, which appeared clean. However, I suspect this is only because the hotel primarily caters to local couples looking for short-term stays.Additional IssuesDon’t be stingy like I was—pay a little extra and stay in a proper hotel with decent conditions. The entire booking process felt like a scam. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay an additional from platform fee equal to the booking price, which was a complete surprise. The photos on booking platforms are nothing but designer renderings. In reality, everything looks completely different. If you want to cancel your stay, you’ll have to pay the same amount again, and you won’t get a single penny refunded.#### Final DecisionAfter spending just 2-3 hours in this hotel, I couldn’t bear it any longer. I immediately searched for and booked a proper hotel with decent conditions and left Valencia Hotel as soon as possible. Final ThoughtsIn conclusion, this hotel is a complete scam and a nightmare to stay in. Save yourself the trouble and book a better place. Valencia Hotel Da Nang Beach Hotel is a prime example of how deceptive marketing can ruin a traveler’s experience. Avoid it at all costs.

It's a clean and well maintained hotel. There are two elivators but slow and small. More and more crowded there, so I would like to have a different level of service. For example, the luggages are kept without any validation. I am afraid that it's lost someday. The reception desk area is full of laundry bags and water packs, so that staffs' area doesn't look comfortable to work. They might be burnt out someday with treating endless guests. I personally prefer the lower front desk with guest chair. The hotel is developping the facility, then I look forward to having the modified lobby area in the near future. If not we the guests would experience traffic jam in the lobby.Of course, I will visit Valencia no matter why to see the amazing and relative-like staffs again.

This hotel close to the river in Hue has been a hotel for over 100 years. The rooms are large and have comfortable beds and wooden flooring. My room overlooked the main road, which was a little noisy but nothing that would ruin your stay, in fact it allowed you to know you were in the middle of the city. Breakfast is served in the middle of the hotels, under trees. The food was good quality.

The service at Saigon Morin Hotel was definitely a highlight, staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Many of them have decades of experience, and it really shows in how smoothly everything runs. Check-in was quick, and breakfast was decent, offering a mix of average hotel fare along with some local Hue specialties, which was a nice touch. That said, the room conditions left a lot to be desired. While I appreciated being given a corner room, the space felt musty, humid, and had a strong moldy smell. I had to request a sheet change upon arrival because the bed had an unpleasant odor. The shower curtain was also quite smelly and visibly yellowed, and there were mosquitoes in the room. They did provide insect spray, but that’s not something you should have to deal with in a hotel at this level. The building definitely shows its age and is in serious need of a renovation. Hue’s humidity is no joke, and investing in dehumidifiers for the rooms would make a big difference. I personally wouldn’t return, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly room with a prime location and don’t mind older facilities, this could still work for you.

I don’t like to write negative reviews, but sadly you can’t trust the pictures. How anyone gives more than two stars is beyond me. I can only think it’s because of the service. The concierge, Nie (not sure on spelling), is amazing, and should be working at a top notch hotel instead. The hotel is in need of major renovation. Its heyday was long ago. Our first rooms had mold on the walls and smelled horribly musty. They weren’t slightly musty. We complained 15 minutes after arriving and were moved upstairs to the 3td floor where the rooms were better, but they still weren’t anything to write home about in a good way. To renovate the hotel would probably cost a fortune given the size of the hotel and all of the needs, which is likely why the place just seems to be deteriorating. The hotel is not old charm, it’s just plainly old and in sad shape.

We stayed here in 2013, 2017 and this time. We were impressed with this hotel in the first stay n 2013. However this time, the room is running down needing renovation. Lack of electrical ouutlets. The continental breakfast is average but the breakfast staff is really great. The location is really good.
