Stayed there when visiting Hue central Vietnam. Home of royalty. Old world charm. Similar to Raffles in Singapore. Close to restaurants, banks ect. Room was very clean. Staff were very accommodating and able to help with anything.|We journied back to a more gentle time away from the hustle and bustle of the 21st century. Enjoyed our few nights there

I stayed at Ha Na Hotel for a short trip and here’s my honest review:Pros: • Very good location — close to shops, cafés and local attractions. • Room was okay, mattress comfortable and water pressure good.Cons: • Soundproofing is poor, so you can hear guests walking or talking in the hallway. • Some rooms feel a bit older than the photos, but still acceptable for the price.Overall:A solid choice if you want an affordable stay with a convenient location. Don’t expect luxury, but for budget travellers, it’s worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at Hotel Saigon Morin. Beautiful preserved bygone era ambience with all the modern features discreetly built in. Our room was magnificent and it was a joy to walk the hotels wonderful corridors and halls.|The staff at the hotel are brilliant, super kind, pleasant and helpful. The Concierge welcomed us like old friends and always took time for a little chat as we came in.|Breakfast in the Courtyard is surreal, delicious food, outstanding service and magnificent surroundings. Just spectacular.|I reserve a special mention for the lady who cooked me the best scrambled eggs I have ever had for my breakfast.|Hue is an excellent place to visit. Saigon Morin stands on the banks the river with beautiful walks along its banks in the early morning or cooler evening. If you visit Hue and have the chance to stay at Saigon Morin, do it without hesitation is our advice.

This classic old hotel has seen better days the out door breakfast area and pool needs a good tidy up and clean .|There are dead plants broken pots and a generally scruffy appearance if you look closely. However the lobby is large open and has a touch of glam to it still the restaurant it elegant the staff helpful the price good and the rooms very large .|We only needed a room for a few nights Or I would have had to change rooms as our balcony looked out over the main road ( it said perfumed river but its a busy intersection with a lot of noisy traffic before you get to the river ) |We could not sit out because of the noice level . |The room was huge with a very large TV some fruit and coffee making equipment provided as well as a fridge safe and robes . The bathroom was large and over all the room had an air of old world glamour of a long gone era that I would have enjoyed if it had just been a bit more nicely landscaped cleaner and tidier- new paint and a general power wash / spruce up would do wonders |It’s not in a bad location and very close to the train station . |Tip dont book tours or drivers thru the hotel the taxi at the train station will offer you assistance at a much reduced rate I could have saved over £50 .|The breakfast was not nite worthy and very limited if you dont want local food or like me are vegetarian and the quality did not seem great .|As it was outdoors the bugs and humidity / rain affected your meal .|The spa staff speak very little English that caused some issues. I booked a 2 hour massage hair conditioning and blow dry package at what I though was a reasonable price ( they give you a coupon at check in ) But they messed up my blow dry leaving actual knots in my hair that was still 1/3 wet when they were finished and they did not add any heat protectant to it when using the heated tools . I had to get the hotel manager to come with me to explain why I was upset and make them re wash it and blow dry it again . My mother and my friends all enjoyed their massage and facial services however . |The staff were helpful when I injured my eye and called a Dr for me who came within the hour to see me in the hotel lobby and actually drove me to the local hospital ( £36 for his services thats a lot of money in Vietnam ) where I was treated .|Would I stay again NO | I had two hotels I liked the sound of and I wish id gone for the other . I chose this for the outside pool but upon seeing it in real life rather than the hotels photos I was very disappointed broken beds dirty furniture and not very pretty looking over all it needs a redo .

Location & Atmosphere|The hotel is perfectly located in the historic center, with stunning views of the Imperial City island and the riverside. The building has a historic, old-fashioned character that gives it a classic Hollywood golden-age vibe.||Staff & Service|Staff were very helpful and empathetic. Their English was clear and sufficient for both non-native and native speakers.||Dining|Breakfast in the inner garden courtyard was a highlight of the stay — a very enjoyable experience.||Room & Amenities|The bathroom water pressure could be improved, and some amenities felt a bit outdated. However, the facilities matched the photos provided, and the reasonable price made it a good value overall.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference in how comfortable I felt. The location is perfect—close to everything I needed, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and local attractions. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This is an older hotel very classy in its day. Great location across from the Citadel and on the Perfume river. If you need to stay connected you might want to consider somewhere else as the wifi is horrible. The beds are hard and made my back sore maybe a pillow top cover for the mattress might be something to consider. The free breakfast was ok and some of the other meals were ok. We had to eat at the hotel for most of our meals because of the record rainfall and flooding. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights, but left after one. The room was dark and smelled of cigarette smoke, so much so that I had to re-wash a lot of my clothes. I did eventually get comfortable in the room, but it was not like the photos. I was told, after complaining, that none of the double rooms have windows like in the photos. The shower was good with hot water and good pressure. AC worked well and did eventually clear the cigarette smell, but without the window, the room felt dingy. Fine if you were just sleeping there, but not a comfortable place to chill.
