I have been going to Saigon Noodles for years since it first opened and the food was very good to excellent but as time passed things began to change and be unstable with quality and service. The soups and are still good but service and cleanliness is not consistent. Due to lack of cleanliness my wife and I have stopped coming there. Very sad

This was our first time here. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. We asked a lot of questions and she didn’t hesitate to help. The food was great! You have to get the Kimchi Fries… so good!! The Pho was noodle bowl were great as were the spring rolls w peanut sauce. We aren’t from the area but when we are back in town we’ll be visit again.

Pho was excellent. Spring roll was excellent. Vietnamese roll was excellent.

I loved this restarunt . bitter sweet. I was going here for years badly. had a lot of family moments here. this place was like our golden corral. seem like their turnover rate is high. that doesn't matter but the day I went in to use the restroom (knowing its clean& not public) I thought it was ok because Im a loyal customer and was moving in the area and actually was going to go back after the move to indulge in a clear seafood noodle pho. but the response of "customers only" was crazy like dude you're new here, I been coming here!

We ordered their famous sirarcha kimchi fries. They were so so good. The crispiness from the fries, sour taste from kimchi, the meat and the sauces and all dipping in the egg yolk from the fried egg everything blended so good with each other enhancing the taste to next level. We also ordered House special Pho and their bird nest dish (not sure what the actual name is but its the choice of our meat with veggies and sauce over crispy fried egg noodles). Everything tasted very authentic just that the birds nest dish was a little sweet taste than what we would like ( doesn't mean it didn't taste good

The food was so delicious! The pho and kimchi fries were amazing! So flavorful and filling!

Pho broth is authentic and flavorful with adding anything to it. Fresh lemon is amazing. Ain't watered down like other places.

Google
Amazing, I've been looking for a good pho place and have gone between Hammond to Baton Rouge searching. Their pho is so good, and I am very picky and have gone to multiple Vietnamese restaurants trying to find a good, not watered down broth like Pho Cafe was 🙄 They have all the sides and sauces to go in it. We were sad that they were out of calimori and their wings, but the eggrolls were meaty and good. The dipping sauce is Rich in fish sauce flavor, not overly sweet. You can Audi get your drink to go which was nice. The service was amazing, we had a very sweet waitress that made sure it drinks were filled and was attentive. The restaurant is also very nice and relaxing. It gives of a warm atmosphere. Next to it is the Asian marketplace, it was neat to go and explore. Overall we had an amazing experience, and I will be back. ❤️

Yelp
I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I loved that they were playing Christmas music (I went 2 weeks ago but forgot to post my review). I ordered a thai tea and it was good, but to me, really sweet. I ordered some milk to make it less sweet but it didn't work. For an appetizer, I ordered calamari. 10/10 because they deep fried jalapeño peppers too and it made the dish so good. You have to be careful though because they are a bit spicy. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and without any sauces, it was okay. Once I added siracha, hoisin (usually only add when it lacks a bit of flavor) and chili oil, it tasted a lot better. My cousin ordered Bun Bo Hue and she didn't really like it. I tried it and it lacked the authentic BBH flavor. I'll definitely come back to try their other foods because this restaurant is promising.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the pho here. The soup was clean, clear but rich, very delicious. Vegetables were good amount but not too cleaned up. Overall small dining area but had enough people come in during the raining day. There's many who had take out as well. Prices were reasonable and small things like chipped dishes can be ignored. Only thing I have is that large Pho wasn't as large as most places. Otherwise this place is a fantastic place!

Yelp
I've been in Louisiana for about two weeks now and finally had a noodle craving. I'm originally from San Francisco where these noodle shops are prominent (almost like a Starbucks), so I am always a bit weary when choosing a place like this. I arrived around 4 - 5p on a Tuesday and it was empty. An older lady had ordered to-go and was on her way out, and one of the cooks was setting up his table to have his lunch. It's a subtle environment with Asian R&B/soul music playing in the background. It was a nice element for me because R&B/soul is my ish! No matter the ethnicity. I was about to order the typical beef or chicken pho but remembered how I normally test for a quality chef/recipe; and that was through the ordering of spring rolls w/ peanut sauce and the spicy noodle soup, Bun Bo Hue. This dish is one of the more difficult dishes to make based off of what my Vietnamese friends say back home . So I'm always ordering it when I'm in a new Vietnamese restaurant. I was shocked! I always taste the soup first before anything else and there was just a nice balance of flavors. I added all the condiments + lime, stirred, flipped, and gave the condiments a few minutes to "steep". I took a scoop of soup again and BOOM! POW! It was even better! Back home in San Francisco, this dish usually has cubes of congealed pig blood and not enough meat. But this didn't have it! I was surprised but thrilled at the same time. Because I'm not a fan of the pig blood and enjoyed the balanced amount of meat. Whoever was the chef at this hour was on point! This was the best Bun Bo Hue I've ever had, hands down. If y'all looking for an oriental spot for some spicy noodle soup around town, I highly recommend this place! The spring rolls were on point too! I forgot to take a picture but it was a lot bigger than California's spring rolls. Cali cheap af. Always cutting costs... anywayyyys. The spring rolls here are much bigger and has complete shrimps in the roll, not halves  (smh California).

Yelp
Clear noodle soup is awesome! Interior needs to be updated. Does not take long to get food. Customer service is descent.

Yelp
It's not that good..... that's all... that's the post the chicken and shrimp was flavorful but everything else was bland

jessica d.

Yelp
First time there. Server was very helpful and informative! LOVED the spicy pho. Unfortunately they were out of their kimchi friesbut I will be back soon to try those!!!! Probably in the top 2 of my favorite pho places in Baton Rouge!!!

Yelp
Okay the Hu Tieu is delicious. I went in and looked at the menu. It's quite good with a lot pho and other options. As a Hu Tieu lover I had to try it. It's so good with quail eggs, pork, a piece of sausage, and shrimp. I just wish there were more Quail eggs but then I always wish for that. Lol. The soup base was warm and yummy, I subbed pho noodles for the glass noodles and it was perfect. Just as some sriracha and perfection. BTW they bring both basil and cilantro which is awesome.

Yelp
Autumn roll was the best spring roll I've ever had in my life The meat was warm inside with perfect sauce They added some egg roll skin which makes it a little crunchy inside Their bun bo Hue and pho were alright
google avatar

Yelp
Simply OUTSTANDING autumn rolls (a.k.a. Bò Bía)_ and spicy beef soup (a.k.a. Bún bò Huế) alike! Fair menu prices Friendly table service Local ownership

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Saigon Noodles out for quite some time now since I relocated to BR. I mean coming from Nola, BR doesn't really have many great Vietnamese restaurants. Now I can finally say I think I've found one to add to the short short list! First walking in, the restaurant is super small yet nice to say from the location. Surprisingly wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon! The menu is simple and not overwhelming. I'd say the prices are pretty decent for the serving sizes they offer. Hubs and I ordered the sugarcane shrimp as a starter and it was pretty good. Not too much to critic about it. I will say, the wait for our food took a lot longer than expected considering there was only like 3 out of the 6 tables available to sit in the restaurant were occupied. However, food did come out piping hot! I ordered the Mi Xao Don (crispy stir fried noodles) w/ beef. Honestly, I thought the portion was pretty small but considering it was only like $9.. it's decent. Hubs ordered the BBH (bun bo hue) per usual and he said it was pretty tasty. I honestly think the lemongrass was a bit too over powering. All in all, I'd definitely come back to try the other options but would definitely consider calling ahead to see if there's seating available considering it's a very tiny place.

Yelp
I am on a personal hunt to find thee best Pho. I absolutely loooooove pho. The thing is though, I don't usually stop at the same pho spot twice. With that said...I will come here over and over again. It was soooooo flavorful and good. I ordered the shrimp pho and added chicken. It had so many shrimp. I mean it seemed like I kept just finding shrimp in that bowl coming out of nowhere. Hahaha!! To add I ordered some egg rolls. Those were awesome too. Loved them. And OMG I was turned on to Thai Tea to a point where I've been trying to find recipes to make my own....I did, I failed, I'll just go back to Saigon for more of it all! I was very well pleased. :-)

Yelp
I want to be completely honest here. For one I have been eating here since Saigon Noodles first opened. The first few years I never thought the Pho was the greatest so I always just ordered Com Suong or Com Bo Luc Lac instead. And they were great!! Always satisfied my cravings! However, the last two times I've been in in the last couple weeks, I tried the pho again. It has changed!! Idk if the recipe changed or a different cook but it is now my favorite! I highly recommend it! Also they have great customer service. Very nice and clean inside. And when you call in to order to go it's usually ready super fast! I never have to wait. Oh and the Da Chanh is pretty great too!!
google avatar

Yelp
As many times as I've been here, I've never had a bad thing to say about them! This is definitely my go to Vietnamese restaurant in Baton Rouge! The restaurant is a small and quaint place. It's definitely a great place to satisfy your cravings for pho, rice, or vermicelli dishes! I usually order the Bun Bo Hue which is a beef based noodle soup with a variety of different meats! The perfect cure for when the weather decides to have a 20 degree drop! The Grilled Pork with Rice dish is another one of my favorites! The pork is very well-seasoned and they provide the perfect portion. It also comes with a fried egg on top along with a small bowl of soup. Overall, I love Saigon Noodle! Their prices are affordable and the food hits the spot! I come here almost every Sunday so it's more of a tradition for me. But I've never been disappointed in the food or service!

Yelp
My first time here after craving some pho for a while. We had a group of 6 and had no trouble getting a table. Everyone raved about the hot tea which i did not have, but it seemed to be a favorite. Friends got some appetizers - a few rolls and the wings. he chicken wrap was really good and the peanut sauce was just the right flavor. I got the beef pho (P21), and it was really good. The main reason my friends recommend this place is because the broth for the pho is not over powering. It is light and more bland so you can taste the meat. Spiced it up and ate the whole thing. The service was good and they were patient as our group trickled in. By the time we left, there was a line waiting to come in. The atmosphere was nice with some interesting wall decor. I'll certainly be back or get some delivery from here.

Yelp
Even though I've moved quite far away after the flood of 2016 in Baton Rouge, I still visit this restaurant as often as I can. I just visited again today and so had to say how much I still love these guys.
google avatar

Christine W.

Yelp
Not the closest place to get pho to south BR, but worth the drive up past Florida. Having read the reviews and not been there, we took the drive to North BR to get a Vietnamese food fix. We ordered Pho, chicken wings and eggrolls. The eggrolls were good, but I would have liked them better served with more lettuce and herbs to wrap them in. The chicken wings were a bit to sweet for me, but the flavor was good (spicy, salty and sweet). The pho was the star. The piping hot broth covered a mound of meat and veggies. Lots of noodles to slurp up. The flavor of the broth was light, but good. The large provided us with leftovers to take home and enjoy for lunch another day.

Yelp
Saigon Noodles is a very good choice for Vietnamese food in Baton Rouge. They are conveniently located on Sherwood Forest, just north of its junction with Florida Boulevard. It's located in a strip mall, with a variety of other businesses that cater to the needs of the Asian-American community. This includes a Asian grocery, which is a fun place to shop while in the area. My favorite thing at Saigon Noodles is their rolls! They have Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter varieties, each with their own special fillings and dipping sauces. Of course pho and other noodle soups are a menu staple, and are very good indeed. Then there are the rice and noodle dishes, of which there are a nice variety. Saigon Noodles really stands out on presentation. Their dishes all seem to have that special attention to appearance that adds to the enjoyment. Grilled shrimp, for example, will always be nice and large and have nice grill marks, and will be positioned right on top where they stand out. The rolls are cut in half, so one can see the fillings, and are served in a bowl that resembles a big soup-spoon. The decor of the restaurant also shows that they are trying to impress.
google avatar

Jasmine F.

Yelp
They have amazing pho! I've had my fair share of pho in Baton Rouge, and they are by far the best.

Laura B.

Yelp
Stop here! You won't regret it! We had Vietnamese egg rolls and beef stir fry noodles and pork bun. Sooooo delicious!!
google avatar

Rozelyn P.

Yelp
I only gave them a four-star because the food is excellent; however, I'm not a fan of communal seating. Also, check your ticket before you leave. I was accidentally charged $131.41 for six spring rolls. The casher wasn't attentive and almost walked away until I signaled her attention and pointed out the error. Imagine, if I had gone home, I could only imagine how difficult it would have been to have them correct the ticket. It's always an impression as if you are there to cheat them. lol. You deal with it or don't eat; I get the vibe.
google avatar

Ronald C.

Yelp
I would tell you that you can't go wrong with an order from Saigon Noodle, but considering I almost always order the same dish (rare beef pho), I can't necessarily give that advice. However I can say that this pho is not to be missed. Everyone I go here with enjoys their food, no matter what they order. We love the sleek, modern atmosphere, and the service is always friendly. If you're in this neighborhood, then you know you have many options for Viet cuisine. Saigon Noodle is usually the one I choose when given those options. I think that says a lot.
google avatar

Jaime T.

Yelp
In my top 3 for pho! Love the environment. I can go in with friends for lunch and enjoy the hungry hour special of pho or go in alone at any time with my laptop and get some work done! Extremely friendly staff
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with very high expectations, a friend of mine highly recommended this place and told me this was the best in town. The place has a cousy decoration, nice art in the walls, the waiters are very nice and smile to you as soon as you walked in. My friend had told me that their pho was the best he had every tried, so I decided to take his suggestion and try it. I ordered beef pho, asking the waiter to help me to choose what type of beef to order. The food came and it was nice size bowl (though I have seen bigger in other places), with all the herbs, sauce and lime, it had a very good smell, the flavor was ok, but in my opinion not enough to say that it was "the best in town"... Another detail is that it was missing beef! It literally had three or four pieces. (Very soft, so in that I give credit to the waiter), but it is the first time I eat a pho with so little beef... I would like to say that during my first visit my expectations were met, but they weren't... I also tried to get some Thai tea and they ran out of it, so I couldn't... :( I guess in the future I'll try again and see how that goes, but for now I can't give more than three stars, because the place is cute and the service was nice, staff is friendly and very helpful, but I'm not impressed by the food... If you are going to this place because you like comfortable/cute Asian decorations and don't mind much about the real real deal (food wise), this is your place! But if you are going there for the food, I would check other options in the area with better flavors and cheaper prices.

Yelp
Great noodles. Fast, friendly and fresh. The egg roles are the best I've ever had. Perfect crunch and texture. Do recommend.
google avatar

Chelsey D.

Yelp
I'm always here! Yesterday, their bun bo hue was the best I've had in a while! Drooling thinking about it right now.

Courtney B.

Yelp
Pho broth is excellent and the restaurant is really nice. Great customer service really like this place.

Little L.

Yelp
Pretty good place. I had the bun bo hue and had the option to not include the knuckle and the blood liver so it was good. The pho ga was also yummy.
google avatar

Linsey M.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. It has the best pho I have ever eaten. It's tiny, practically a hole in the wall but the food is hot and fresh everytime. And it doesn't break the bank. My favorite is the ben bo hue, it's a little spicy but not overwhelming so.
google avatar

Ray C.

Yelp
I remember when Saigon noodles just opened up, I frequent there many times in college. Saigon noodles holds a special place in my heart for being my favorite Vietnamese place in Baton Rouge. Consistency was something they always had, my usuals are the pho dac biet( combination pho), bun Bo Hue and lastly the Autumn rolls! The pho is always so fresh and delicious, the broth is on the milder side to me compared to other places but that's just the way I like it. The bun Bo Hue is also probably my favorite one in Baton rouge too. Spicy and refreshing with blood and pork knuckle in there just tops it off perfectly. Lastly the Autumn rolls are my favorite spring rolls to get here. Crunchy interior with pork in their as well as pineapple sauce on the side compliments it with true harmony. Overall Saigon noodles does a great job in many aspects of different dishes and having great specials as well throughout the week!
google avatar

Felisha M.

Yelp
So for this place it was maybe just a bad day for them. Their menu wasnt as broad as many other pho shops and their vegetarian option were practically no existent. I ordered the beef pho and that was my own fault for not clarifying which one but the waiter brought out this crazy, spicy beef pho I was unable to identify. When someone orders "beef pho" I would hope the waiter next time says, "which one?" The chicken pho did not have a lot of flavor and all the chili oil and srichacha you must ask for as it is not readily available. I ordered some spring rolls too and they gave me the hard parts of the lettuce!! Not enough of that peanut sauce either. They don't have sandwiches and no iced tea. I give it two stars because I wouldn't be ok with giving it another shot and would try a different place. Nor would I bring friends here.
google avatar

Kay V.

Yelp
Growing up, I wasn't a fan of Viet food even though I'm half Vietnamese. As I have gotten older, and spending a few months in Vietnam, I now have an appreciation for their cuisine. This particular day, I took a good friend out for Pho. Truth is, I just needed a date for lunch. Lol. We shared their spring rolls (pork and shrimp rolls); and 6pc crispy roasted quail which was cooked in this sweet yet slightly spicy sauce. Yummy but sticky! We also ordered an order of their sugar cane shrimp (shrimps that has been minced to a paste, seasoned and then skewered in to a piece of sugar cane...and deep fried). Lol my friend ordered the Pho Dac Biet. The broth was ok, a bit too heavy on the five-spice/anise stars. I ordered their grilled shrimps and grilled pork vermicelli bowl on top of fresh veggies. Although the grilled pork (thit nuong) cuts were a little thinner than other restaurants, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked! You can't visit a Vietnamese restaurant and not try their Vietnamese coffee! Most more traditional restaurants has a drip-coffee filter placed over a cup w/ a couple tsp of condense milk. This location seem to serve pre-made iced coffee. The espresso flavor wasn't strong enough for me
google avatar

Lilliana P.

Yelp
Wow! This place has the best bun bo hue (spicy beef noodles) I've ever had at a restaurant. Wasn't sure what to expect when I came here moving from Houston, where the food scene is serious. But this place blew me away. Bun bo hue has very unique flavors that can be difficult to draw out. This place nailed it. That mix of lemongrass and spices were all there. Definitely gonna be my go-to place for Vietnamese food.
google avatar

Christine K.

Yelp
My favorite Pho place in Baton Rouge! Small cozy place with delicious food. Their fried calamari is my must order appetizer. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. The grilled dishes is my family's favorite. We also always ask for some chili oil. I keep going back over and over again!

Anonymous G.

Yelp
Soooo yummy!!! The staff was super friendly and the food came out in a timely manner! I had the beef stew and it was so good! Very authentic. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

Yelp
I came to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. I stay in the hotel zone in the college/corporate area of Baton Rouge where there are no places for a bowl of Pho. Came here on a Saturday with a few friends and decided to check out their Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef and Pork Soup with thick Hue style rice noodles). The service here is very fast and the staff is very friendly. When the Bun Bo Hue came out, it was served in a fancier bowl than normally expected, which was pleasing to the eye. The broth was nice but not great, as I've had better Bun Bo Hue in the West Coast (Litlle Saigon in Garden Grove, CA). At my favorite place in Orange County CA, they pile on the meat (beef shank, crab/shrimp balls, pork loaf, beef tendon, pork feet and pork blood cake) with a ratio equal to the noodles in the bowl. At Saigon Noodles, the amount of meat is not generous in fact it's bordering on stingy. There is options to add extra meat $1.99 for 1 type of meat and $2.99 for 2 types of meats. However I normally don't ask for that at Pho places in the west coast but will know better this time on my next trip to Saigon Noodles I'll recommend this place to friends with the caveat about the amount of meat they put in their Pho and Bun Bo Hue.

Yelp
Very good and beautiful presentation . Service was great . Their bo kho was not good and very little meat . Pho was good Bun thit nuong was good .
google avatar

Emmeline K.

Yelp
Such a delight! This was my second time here for lunch, and my first time trying their pho. The broth was very good, meats were tender as you'd want, and the "large" was a massive portion especially for the very reasonable price. We also split spring rolls and summer rolls; both were very tasty and conveniently cut in half for easy sharing. We ended up getting a show since there was a lion dance performance (happy late lunar new year!!) right outside. The lions even came inside to the delight of many customers. And if you have room for dessert, you can just walk right next door to Paradise Smoothies!
google avatar

vanessa g.

Yelp
This is the best pho I've had in Baton Rouge so far, everything is fresh and tasty. I usually order the vegetarian pho (I'm not vegetarian though, just like tofu) and I have the option of beef or chicken broth, I go with the more traditional beef broth. The veggie pho is packed with puffy tofu, mushrooms, and bok choy among other veggies. I also get the spring rolls without pork which makes for a satisfying appetizer. The ambience of this place is very clean, the music can be loud though, think trendy pop music, which sort of throws me off. Service is pretty quick and efficient and the staff is usually friendly.
google avatar

Jimmy D.

Yelp
One of my top go to places for authentic Vietnamese food! Located in a plaza with other Asian stores, it is convenient to stop by for lunch. For appetizers, I decided to go with the fried calamari with I believe is a spicy mayo sauce. It's plated on lettuce and fried jalapeños that looks aesthetic and goes well with the calamari. For entree, l I always get the Specialty Beef Rice plate and I am always satisfied. Portion is very filling and well priced. For service, Tony & Derek are my favorite servers. I'm always greeted with a welcoming smile. The seating can get tight when it's busy as it is a small place so plan accordingly!
google avatar

Jinyoung P.

Yelp
Good Vietnamese option in BR. I had the pho tai, and I would've liked for the meat to be less cooked by the time it arrived at the table, but maybe next time I'll just ask for it on the side and put it in myself. Aside from that, everything was swell during our visit. I'll be back when I'm craving pho while in Baton Rouge.
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
The hours say they close at 5. I showed up at 427pm to an unlocked restaurant and as soon as i enter they say they're closed. I mean sure that's fine, but why have hours of operation then
google avatar

Victoria H.

Yelp
This is a regular place for me. I always get the house Pho and Autumn rolls and they never disappoint! The Autumn Rolls come with 4 rolls and this Saigon sauce that is out of this world! This is by far my favorite place to get Pho in BR. And to top it off, the staff has always been on the top of their game!
google avatar

Tonya G.

Yelp
Very very good shrimp pho and shrimp spring rolls! Wish it wasn't so far from Prairieville!! They are super nice! Will be going back!
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
Really awesome ambiance and clean tasting Pho broth. What I really like about this spot is the variety of rolls they have and the variet of dishes. The decor is modern for a strip mall setting and the service was much better than the average Vietnamese service. The pho broth was full of flavor even before the extra fixing and the temperature was perfect. The Vietnamese iced coffee was SO STRONG AND I LOVED IT lol it was a great sweet contrast to the spicy pho soup. Awesome pho joint in BR .

Efrain F.

Yelp
I stopped by to eat at this place and the waiter took the order of the other tables that came in after me so I had to ask him to please take my order, he replied wait. I got up and left, I am hoping he did not discriminate me because of my race but I will never return there again. I've eaten here before and their services was allot better, sadly this is no longer the case.

Krystal A.

Yelp
Dropped by for dinner tonight and it was money well spent. The place is nicely decorated with some music playing in the background. Their menu is extensive with all the vietnamese classics. I opted for a rice dish with beef short ribs and an egg. My dinner partner went for a noodle dish with grilled beef and shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. My dish seemed to come with a little side soup..it tasted like pho broth. It was nice and flavorful and a good start to my meal. All in all, I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Jimmy V.

Yelp
This has to be my favorite vietnamese restaurant in Baton Rouge! They have many options: Bun Bo Hue (spicy pork noodle), pho, mi bo kho, and delicious rice plate with grilled pork! I love every one of those plates! They are all delicious! I also like the service I got from here! I go here about once a week! See you next time!
google avatar

Heath M.

Yelp
Dropped by here for lunch yesterday. I ordered spring roll as well as seafood soup. The roll was very fresh, dipping sauce was good as well. The seafood soup was outstanding, I have not found a broth that taste so good anywheres else. Soup had plenty shrimp, mussells, crab claws, etc. service was very friendly and checked in on me numerous times. I will certainly come back for more and would recommend.

Yelp
Very good place for a date and for some traditional Vietnamese dishes. Everything is spiced to perfection and you get some very large portions (my girlfriend never finishes hers at the restaurant, most of the time she doesn't even finish half!). I wouldn't go out of my way to go here every day, but It's always a good spot to grab some food and a drink!
