SAii Phi Phi Island Village (Phi Phi Island, Krabi) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Along a crescent of private beach on Phi Phi Don, SAii Phi Phi Island Village offers a peaceful, sea-facing escape framed by jungle cliffs and coral reefs. Thatched-roof villas, some with shaded salas and wide sea-view terraces, blend into the palms with breezy ease. A marine discovery centre echoes the resort’s environmental ethos, with reef restoration and shark rewilding projects in motion. Remote but well-established, SAii is a picturesque escape that gets the essentials right without overcomplicating the rest." - Tablet Hotels

Absolutely loved our time at SAii Phi Phi.|The rooms are excellent, large and spacious, plenty of water provided, international power outlets, great shower, large walk in robe area and large terrace.|The grounds of the resort are well maintained, pools are never too busy and perfect temperature. We preferred the lazy pool area as it had the beach right near it. We were lucky with tides and had high tides during the middle of the day, big plus. |Activities do come at a cost, like canoe and snorkel masks hire are $5-$15 AUD. |We organised a private day trip around Phi Phi with the activities team and it was perfect, start as early as possible to beat the peak at Maya bay. |Restaurants were excellent, we had full board so we really did over eat, I’d recommend half board. Ruan Thai for clear nights was a gem. Olive for sunsets and a bit of a romantic vibe.|Boat transfer is well worth it, they picked us up from our hotel and the boat trip even had wifi on it. Great service. Wi-fi is good across the whole place.|Village out the back is also worth a visit for a couple of cool bars and exploring.|Can’t wait to come back.

Outstanding in every aspect. Facilities, rooms, and service were perfect. The island is beautiful. The resort itself is bursting with biodiversity. The staff are outstanding. We had an amazing holiday, a real 'trip of a lifetime'. If money was no object, I would be back in a heartbeat.||We went in a party of six with our young adult children and their companions. The king rooms in the garden villas were spacious with a day bed and table as well. The twin bed garden villa had loads of space between the twin beds with good floor space around, perfect for friends staying together. The dressing room area in all the garden villas was an unexpected bonus. We had asked for our chalets to be beside each other. This worked well, giving us privacy and space while being nearby and convivial.||One of our party is a vegetarian who needs to follow a gluten-free diet and the staff were very helpful; she was given options at every meal and was able to relax knowing she could enjoy her food with confidence.||We went snorkeling on a trip organised by the resort and that felt safe, being in areas which were roped off so boats didn't enter. You still needed to pay some attention to safety getting on and off the boats. As we were leaving to return to the resort, the area was getting busier with boats from Phuket coming over for the day. We were glad we had started early (about 10 a.m.) for a quieter experience. We did see some boats with people in more open water and even off the hotel, with the sea being so shallow at times, we saw people in the water with boats moving around them, which seemed less safe. We were glad we took the precautions we did to make sure we were not in areas with moving boats.||The snorkeling was amazing. Utterly beautiful. An amazing glimpse into a remarkable world.||The Thai cooking course the resort organised was fun, informative, and very tasty. We arrived to find chefs' hats, aprons, and small cookery books for each of us, and a table set for us to eat a small banquet which we cooked for ourselves in a lovely room (with air con) under the watchful tutelage of two very experienced chefs. There was something for everyone, no small deal with three vegetarians (one gluten-free), two meat-eaters (one which didn't like fish). It was a terrific experience, well worth trying.||The resort is in a beautiful natural bay which does not have an artificial jetty so we did have to transfer from the small ferry to an even smaller boat, then wade through shallow water to reach reception when we arrived. This would not be possible for someone with reduced mobility or, in my view, with small babies. I have some problems with my knees but have good mobility and I found the transfers a little challenging, although the staff were very helpful and helped me keep my balance as I boarded and disembarked.||The transfers from Phuket airport and back again we organised through the resort and it was very well organised and easy - absolutely worth doing.||The people who work on the resort live in accommodation in the nearby village. They work incredibly hard and with a high degree of professionalism. We felt welcomed and looked after by every one of them, from the gardeners, to the heads of departments. It was a remarkable privilege to stay at Saii Phi Phi, and we are grateful to each and every person who made our holiday such a happy and memorable experience.

I liked the hotel — I stayed here for 5 days in the summer, and I can say that it met my expectations. Compared to the hotel I stayed at in Bangkok, this one was much better. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff politely answered the questions my family and I had. The breakfast was decent, and I felt full after eating. The beach, sea, and pool were all clean, and we were able to take beautiful photos. I especially want to highlight the massage — I think everyone should try it at least once. I had a 1.5-hour Thai massage, and for me, it was much better than the massages I’ve had in Europe. In my opinion, it was worth the money, and I was very satisfied

Our trip was off with a rocky start but Ms. Nora and her team made sure that our stay here was as comfortable as possible. The rooms newly renovated were very homely and comfortable. The views from this property and their private beach give you an experience that you won't be able to get anywhere else. My favourite thing has to be the cycles that you get to rent here. Its simply therapeutic to cycle through the pathways here in the midst of nature. The best thing about this place is truly the people. So hospitable and positive makes you feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing family vacation.

The hotel was great. The service and room was in our case the best. The beach has big tide amplitudes and at some point there is no beach. If you want to go Phi Phi down town you need to take a boat (takes around 15-20 mins) or walk around 1.5 hours (adventure). Just behind the hotel is a local village with restaurants and small markets. The hotel app works great and we use it to request the electric boogies.

I had an unforgettable stay at SAii Phi Phi Island Village Resort. The location is absolutely stunning—nestled between lush green mountains and surrounded by crystal-clear waters. The views are breathtaking from every angle, whether you're relaxing in your room, by the pool, or walking along the beach. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer all the comforts you could ask for. Waking up to the sound of the waves and a view of the sea was truly magical. The resort features not one but two large swimming pools, perfect for lounging and enjoying the tropical atmosphere. There’s also a private beach that's clean, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful escape or a romantic sunset stroll. Food-wise, the Thai cuisine here is a real highlight—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each meal was a treat, with fresh ingredients and great variety. If you’re looking for a mix of luxury, natural beauty, and top-notch hospitality, SAii Phi Phi Island Village is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This is Paradise . There are a couple of drawbacks which I’ve highlighted below but overall I would say this is a Top five star resort and well worth a visit. |The drawback is it takes awhile on a speedboat or ferry to get there and I’m not the best seafarer so that was not an enjoyable experience , but it was certainly worth the trip . You are isolated so while you can walk to a wonderful village at the back which is highly recommended, you do need to take longtail Boats for trips to see anything. So it depends whether you’re there to relax or you’re happy to take trips or just use the kayaking and snorkelling But for 3 days to 5 days we found this really relaxing. ||The resort is immaculately clean so are the swimming pools. The fun pool has a slide for the kids and an area for them to enjoy. Whereas the adults Can use the Infinity side of the pool which is absolutely beautiful. The bar staff at the pool are really friendly, it’s competitively priced and a really nice place to go for happy hour.||The kids were fascinated by the small lizards and the monkeys, there was kayaking and snorkelling and the sea was absolutely beautiful and easy to swim during the high tide||There was unexpectedly a buggy service to and from the room and around the resort so we didn’t have to walk in the heat which is a real added bonus since we were up in the hillside. The breakfast is really vast with a great buffet and if you have the floating breakfast in your room, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had although too much food.||The lunchtime and dinner main restaurant Apyi offers a variety of food, great service and not badly priced for how delicious this is. Unfortunately we were not taken by the Thai restaurant. It was overpriced, the service wasn’t very good and we didn’t enjoy the food so I would give this a miss. Mrs. Olive looked lovely with great music and it’s great situation on the beach unfortunately there wasn’t enough people so there was never anybody in attendance so we never ate there but it does look beautiful. We were spoiled with a barbecue on the beach with great service, again too much food, but it was a wonderful experience to sit on the beach, look at the sea and have our own personal barbecue||We stayed at thr Hillside villa with a swimming pool and it’s probably one of the best accommodation we’ve had. Really effective air-conditioning, really spacious for a family, beautiful Thai decoration and obviously sweeping views of the ocean with a pool it cannot be beaten. Absolutely worth every penny, kept immaculate by the staff and really enjoyed the relaxing experience.||There is a little bit of wildlife out here which the kids love. ||We took a long tail boat round to Tonsai side that was an experience walking out to the boat during low tide and coming back in the dark at high tide. Really enjoyed the trip only a short 30 minutes so there’s plenty to do on the boat if you’re happy to hire them.||One of the reasons we chose this hotel is it’s close proximity to the village at the back. You could have local food there, there are a good couple of bars , you can get your laundry done and book local trips. Sunset bar at the back is reasonably priced fantastic food and we had lunch there every day. The camel bar Was quirky and we had amazing cocktails and there’s also the buffalo bar where the local staff really make you feel welcome. You can walk 12 minutes to a beach and there are little shops including a supermarket, a place where we can get cash and have your laundry done very cheap. The local people are very friendly and welcoming. This made the whole experience delightful||Wishing the
