Sainou Space is an amazing space for introspection, self expression and finding oneself through a journey/process. SainouSpace is also a platform for creatives to share and inspire others through their skills and talent. Herman and Derrick started this space purely through their passion. Their effort has been nothing but inspiring.

My friend and I visited Blue, a scent experience and exhibition a while back, and we were definitely in for a treat we weren't expecting! From stepping foot into Sainou Space, the experience was professional and phenomenal. The scent experience pulled heartstrings and memories, while the story behind how the space came about was truly inspiring. It was the first time we had heard of Sainou Space, but it left a strong impression and we'll definitely be on the lookout for future events! Thank you, for providing another space, for the small but thriving art scene in Singapore. :")

Derrick is a fantastic vocal coach and I have been his student for about 5 years. Apart from being a very technically strong and talented individual, Derrick is also someone with a lot of love and passion for music and teaching. He genuinely cares and is deeply invested in every single one of his students. He has helped me to improve on my singing capabilities and expand my musical knowledge significantly. Just attended 1 of SAINOUSPACE's virtual workshops and I must say that it was very informative! It was also very professionally set up with high quality equipments and backdrop. Would highly recommend anyone passionate about music/singing to reach out to SAINOUSPACE to find out more!

I have been learning from Derrick for years and I must say, he is the kind of teacher who always make the extra miles for students! Happy to hear that he created Sainouspace for us to continue where we left off! The first session was really informative and engaging. He always uses his way of explaining so that students are able to remember better instead of just using the textbooks answers. Had fun learning about different vocal mechanisms and the art of storytelling again. A big thumbs up! Highly recommend to friends who wants to learn singing but do not know how to start, or friends who prefer learning it differently off textbooks 🤗

I recently attended one of Derricks inspirational workshops and came away with so much useful knowledge which would be impactful for anyone, irrespective of their musical knowledge or ability. I learned anatomically how the voice actually works and some simple exercises that instantly improved my voice as well as techniques to positively change the delivery of my message and how I communicate or sing. Derrick is a wonderful, kind and empathetic teacher who has the ability to teach in a way that is easy to understand and motivating for the student. The workshop was also a perfect opportunity to hear Derrick sing as he has a voice of an Angel.

I went there for a creative workshop by a climate artist few days ago. Everytime I enter Sainou Space, whether for a creative workshop, to view a showcase or to attend events, it is like a safe haven that hugs you and invites you to slow down at your own pace. This is a true creative experience, a rare find for encountering the arts. Derrick and Herman are both very hospitable people, passionate about teaching and telling stories.

I did a Me Time Candle Making Session with Raf and absolutely enjoyed it! Me Time as it suggested is for taking time for ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally, and Raf did just that with creating a safe space and guiding through it with his work of art. Met Derrick as well, and both of them made us feel at home in their lovely, cozy work space. Talented people with a humble work space and sharing their skills and arts with anyone who wants to experience it :)

Derrick is a very thoughtful and considerate professional Vocal Coach. He impacts the technical knowledge by making it to a layman term for easy understanding. Also, his class is full of joys and waves of laughter to make learning more fun and enjoyable.
