We were very warm welcomed when checking in to the Saint Amour in Durbuy. ||With only 14 rooms, this hotel is small but great. ||A diamant found by chance on TripAdvisor which made our stay in Durbuy very pleasant. ||The people were extremly nice and friendly, the room and interieur of the whole hotel was very cute, the food was delicious and in addition, this very small city has stolen our heart. We had breakfirst and diner at the hotel (were visiting during the day) and it was absolutely delicious. Special requests were always happily fulfilled so that we felt welcomed and could relax on our 4 days "long weekend" trip. ||I can only recommend this cute little place and would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone in the hotel by heart for this pleasant stay. We will come back!

We couldn t sleep because of the noise of some machine during the whole night . And after the dinner the noise from the cleaning up of the restaurant was very loud . We slept only 3-4 hours for 210 euro / night . We had room 12 , so I would never go there again . No reception , you can’t your luggage . So we found it expensive for what we got . |The restaurant was fine !

Made a reservation because we saw a beautiful room on the website. We got a very pink room on the attick, large but sloping walls and no view at al (all roof windows ) Evert time my husband went to his side of the bed, he had to bend. ||When you take a shower you have to sit in the bath (sloping wall), not very confortable for 70 years old people with a bad back.||We payed for a parking (€15 a Day), but it was a parking without light and no gate, so everyone could go in (young people were having a party inside). ||(The hotel was closed because of the flood a few weeks before , only the rooms were available. ) ||So: very disappointed.

We were on a 'Harley Davidson' weekend venture meeting up with our friends (25) coming over from the UK (1066 Chapter), but unable to get into the 'chosen' hotel due to volume. So we booked at the Saint Amour and pretty pleased that we did.||||The service and attention were very good and the room excellent. All rooms have a romantic theme and are individually decorated with different attributes. (Check the hotel site and see what I mean).||||The food was excellent but there were one or to moans regarding the length of time the service took. However ....one this particular occasion the place was invaded by the whole group so I believe the hotel did pretty well to cope with 25+ on one order!||||Motorcycle parking was free and having two bikes (his and hers), which in a small and attractive little town was a bonus as cars had to park in time limited bays or car parks and pay.||||Quirky little boutique styled shops and a couple of 'off the wall' bars ....the Pirate bar and the Blues bar added to the theme.||||A great little place to stay and a romantic setting.||||The weather on our trip was pretty grim and detracted from the riding experience....but no one has control of that especially as France had been having the worst weather since 1906 over the previous week.

Spacious restaurant at the heart of the lovely little city of Durbuy. Tasteful and warm interior with plenty of tables classicly dressed staff, very polite and decent, they even take your coat when you arrive. The food is not cheap but of good quality (same for the wines) and the toilets are really fancy.

I went to this restaurant with my family who were visiting me. my family don't speak French but I do, since I live in belgium. Therefore I was communicating with the 'estranged' waiter. I could observe how the waiter was treating the other guests- very attentive and dedicating time to them, wherelse we were ignored....just because we are not Belgians?! we felt mistreated and discriminated (a rare occasion in belgium). as a matter of fact the 'estranged ' waiter didn't bother to take our order!. I am writing this review in English and not in French to recommend the expats not to go to this place. Go to Fou de Roy- super good food, great ambiance and amazing friendly staff.

Suite had no airco in the summer. Very expensive place to stay in those conditions. The food is excellent. In response to the owners reaction: We came in mid summer and at that moment the airco wasn't working in our suite. I can tell you, it was jungle hot in the room!!! Denying it and saying that you don't need an airco in summer only makes it worse for me. You still receive one star because the food is great!

My wife and I spent two nights in late may. It was a perfect location to see all the sights in Durbuy .Large well furnished room with a terrace. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Good service from the staff.

Yelp
It's a nice place from the outside. Inside as well, modern design. Service is modest. You can tell that this is a very touristic side inthe Belgian countryside. They get their money to easy. Price/quality adjustwd to touristic area. Some miles ahead, somewhere in the hilly countryside You can have the same for less with probably better service.

Yelp
Found a fly in my main dish. Didn't get any compensation for the returned dish. Not what you expect as a service.
