Saint Augustine Distillery

Had a great time at our guided tour yesterday. Clark was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had, not just for a distillery but of any excursion or activity I’ve done. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate which made the tour just that much better. Highly recommend the paid tour for everyone. Highlight of our trip to St. Augustine and my wife and I come here once per year for a weekend for the past 5 years. Oh and all the bourbon we tasted were absolutely amazing. We love to take visitors to the distillery. We brought our guests to the perfect pair tasting experience and had a great experience. Clark, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Everyone had a great time. We proceeded to the gift shop for additional tastings and souvenirs, every employee we came in contact with was very knowledgeable and you could tell that they loved their jobs. We really enjoy taking guests here. See you soon!

One of my all time favorite places! You can’t beat the experience. These are very nice, award winning, high quality spirits. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I recommend doing the tasting tour. It’s free and takes 10-minutes tops, but it’s a great way to sample the spirits before committing to a bottle. The Saint is our favorite bourbon and the gin is a close second. Their mixers are absolutely delightful - fresh tasting, low sugar, and wildly versatile - we love the hibiscus and old fashioned. I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Run don’t walk to the best distillery in Florida!

Even though the distillery is small the tour and tasting were one of the best we have been to. My daughter and I have done the entire Bourban trail tour in Kentucky and just about completed the craft tour in Kentucky. Also have ties to Bourbon industry in Kentucky. Anyway our guide definitely showed he is a Bourbon Steward also in giving the history of Bourbon and the standards as well as the brief history of distilling in the State of Florida. I will admit they have a good bourbon product as well as a vodka and rum, my daughter and brother liked their gin, gin is not for me. Everyone we met was more than gracious as hosts. When you are in the area highly recommend you take this tour as well as visit the attached restaurant.

The St. Augustine Distillery Spirit of Florida Bourbon Experience was Excellent! We went on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail last year and saw some great distilleries but having this quaint and beautiful distillery in our own state of Florida is fantastic. Melody was our host and tour guide and was very knowledgeable about everything Bourbon related especially when it came to the distilling process. We tasted 4 of their different bourbons and enjoyed each one. The "Saint" was our personal favorite because we love old fashioneds so much. Finishing off this bourbon in a barrel of their own old fashioned mix was truly an amazing idea! We bought 2 bottles of Saint, but know that this was not an inexpensive bottle at $200. (we did get a $35 off coupon for the tasting tour). The tour of this small distillery was informative and fun with Melody showing us the complete process. Of course the gift shop was the last stop and we took advantage of more Bourbon tasting with their version of an old fashioned. We had not been to this distillery since they added bourbons and only knew them from their vodka, rum and gin but were VERY pleased they have added these delicious bourbons to their line of spirits. A Wonderful Experience and Must See if you are here in St. Augustine!

Such a great experience couldn’t believe it was free! You learn so much about the history and the process of a different alcohols! Everyone was very friendly the free samples you got were tasty even their merchandise shop at the end was great. They had plenty of variety to choose from if you wanted to bring home something for yourself too or as a gift, will definitely be back on my next visit to Saint Augustine.

We had a great time doing the cocktail crafting experience. Clark was very informative and funny (even though his wife apparently doesn’t think so) we loved learning about the processes and the mixing of the drinks. Touring the distillery and the private shopping in the gift store afterwards.

I recently visited Saint Augustine Distillery and had an amazing time. The highlight of my visit was the free whiskey tasting, which allowed me to sample some of their fantastic products. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The staff members at the distillery were not only passionate about their craft but were also well-informed about the various whiskey options available. They were more than happy to answer all my questions, providing me with in-depth information about the production process and the unique characteristics of their spirits. Moreover, the welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the distillery made me feel at ease throughout my visit. The employees created a warm and inviting environment, which added to the overall enjoyment of the tasting experience. I highly recommend visiting Saint Augustine Distillery for any whiskey enthusiast or anyone looking to learn more about the art of distilling. The combination of a free tasting and the expertise of the staff made for an unforgettable visit. I will definitely be returning to explore more of their offerings in the future.
