3 Best Day Trips from Orlando, Florida | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located in a renovated ice plant from 1907, the St. Augustine Distillery does small-batch, handcrafted gin, rum, and vodka. The distillery is owned by the community and it shows in the tours and the facility—these guys love what they do. Free tours run Monday through Friday—10:30am to 5pm, every 30 minutes on the hour—and include a tasting. Bottles are also available for purchase—save room in your suitcase for the truly outstanding Florida Cane Vodka." - Terry Ward, Laura Ratliff

Google
St. Augustine Distillery Review This was my third time visiting the St. Augustine Distillery, and it continues to be an enjoyable and worthwhile stop—and best of all, it’s free! The self-guided tour includes four tasting stations. I didn’t grab photos of all of them and can’t recall every name, but I do remember sampling a Mule, an Old Fashioned mix, and what I believe was a Grapefruit Hibiscus blend. All four were delicious. The tour is short, informative, and fun. The staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is welcoming. While the free tasting doesn’t include their gin, I highly recommend trying it at the bar—it’s remarkably smooth. There’s also a full bar on site where you can purchase cocktails, and a restaurant attached to the building that I haven’t tried yet, but maybe next time. If you're in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit—whether it's your first time or your third.

Google
This distillery is known for its famous bourbon. We stopped by and took a FREE self-guided tour which includes 4 cocktail samples. It took us about 45min-an hour to get thru with reading info provided. The staff were friendly and obviously love their jobs. They were fun to talk to about the history. After you done you could go for more tasting. The parking are on the side of the building sharing with the restaurant.

Google
The VIP whiskey tasting event held by Bryan was amazing. My son and I learned so much about the history of this beautiful building and the making of whiskeys and bourbon. At the end of the tasting and tour we chose to have my son make his own single barrel pour in a custom bottle. We had such an incredible experience that we will always remember and cherish. I will post photos and videos of the process too. Thank you Bryan.

Google
Awesome experience where we complete the self guided tour. I was surprised to find it was really free, including the free sample taste of 4 of their house made cocktails. These included a Florida Mule, Essential Tonic, Old Fashion, and Tropical Tiki Mix. These were all made with their own brand Vodka, Gin, Rum and Bourbon usiung thier very own, in house made, all natural Mixers respectively. At the end of the tour, I was surprised that the final taste station provides a taste of each spirit straight up. Also, you may choose to purchase a taste of their premier Bourbon Whiskey for $10. It's worth mentioning these are all 1/2 ounce serving but enough to help you make up your mind on your favorites.

Google
We had a great experience visiting this distillery on our trip to St. Augustine! While the guided tour did not fit with our schedule, I absolutely loved that they offer a free self-guided tour, which included free samples of 4 cocktails, along with tastings of most of the straight alcohol (all were delicious!!). Everyone on staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable, and there was plenty to read about their distilling process - we enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot!

Google
What a great way to spend a few hours and the entire staff is amazing. We showed up only to realize that we mistakenly got tickets for the wrong day, Amy & Olivia were wonderful and we were able to get tickets for a different tasting so we could have the experience while we were in town. Since we had some extra time we were also able to go on the self-guided tour as well. Zaira made a delicious mule and gave some tips on using different carbonated mixers for different tastes. Allan handed out the gin tonic and rum tiki samples and was a delight. I'm not usually a gin drinker, but he gin was the best I've ever had and was probably my favorite drink of the day, although everything was great. The end of the tour takes you to the store where Debbie was dolling out the old fashion. Afterwards we headed to the tasting room for the perfect pair tasting experience with Nelson who was lovely. We end up tasting home 4 bottles and a mixer because we had trouble deciding. Definitely worth a visit if your nearby.

Google
It’s a cute little distillery a short distance from city center. They have interesting small batch local spirits for you to try, all free. They also offer more immersive tours and additional tastings for a charge. Educational and fun.

Rochelle S.

Google
We had the best time and an amazing tour guide. You’d better like bourbon if you’re gonna do the tour! We did get to try a Florida mule before we started and it was delish. Bring extra spending money for the shop and the drinks at the end of the tour. Lots of fun and tasty options.

Yelp
I did not get to do the tour. But otherwise it's one of the best distillery experiences I've ever had. They have a free tasting that offered four different cocktails made with their liquor and cocktail mixes. And at the end, you can try the bourbon and such on its own. I paid to take the premium bourbons and it was well worth it! Service it through throughout the whole distillery was spectacular. They were a large gift shop with lots of cool stuff too. And the star of the show, of course is the Burman. They also had a really good rum and gin. An absolute must go too if you're in Saint Augustine!
google avatar

Linda T.

Yelp
Such a fun distillery with some of the sweetest people. The tour $5 was great with 4 samples. You can redeem the $5 coupon for a purchase in the gift shop and add a military discount. The staff were amazing. My niece lost a toy and the staff looked all over the place and found her toy.

Yelp
The Distillery is decorated for Christmas and I'm loving every bit of it. The holiday spirits are high in more than one way with their self guided free tasting. Annabelle was phenomenal as one of the bartenders for gin and rum, Mike was also very knowledgeable. We tried the mule mix with vodka, the gin with the citrus mix, and I tried the bourbon mix with the straight bourbon and the port rum. I highly recommend this distillery! 10/10
google avatar

Reshonda S.

Yelp
Loved the tastings. It was short, but well laid out and organized. I like the mixed drink offerings, but you should definitely have the options for both straight and mixed during the tastings. I don't find a particular drink I loved, but it was a nice visit.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
Wow wow wow the easiest 5 stars! We came here on a recommendation from a friend, and now I'm recommending it to everyone who comes to St. Augustine! We did the free self-guided tour, which includes 4 cocktail samples (not a whole drink, just a sample). Every single one was delicious and smooth, and served fresh by a bartender in different areas throughout the tour. There were signs explaining the different parts of the distilling process, an all of the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, especially the girl in the last room.

Yelp
Great Free tasting tour - 3 mixed tasting then straight liquors at the end on their store. They have you walking around to a couple of stations. You get your ID checked, get a wristband and fill out info on an iPad. Walking in to the first area, it seemed small but then it opens up to their distillery area and the store which was much bigger Everyone was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. They gave you a little story or info on the liquors and mixes. The vodka was surprisingly good for being made with the usual Florida cane. Reminded me more of a rum since it's made with sugar canes that look similar to it. It was pretty smooth and had to try a couple straight shots to make sure it was actually that good. No astringent aftertaste at all. The higher proofed and "overproofed" named rums were actually nicely made as well. Good finish with that burn, it would definitely be good in mixed cocktails. Especially with either Tiki mixer which was compared to a painkiller

Yelp
Visiting St. Augustine Distillery was a blast! The tour was really informative and gave a great behind-the-scenes look at how their spirits are made. The guides were friendly and made the whole experience engaging. The tasting afterward was the perfect way to wrap things up. They offer a nice variety of their handcrafted spirits, and I enjoyed sampling each one without feeling rushed. It's a great spot for anyone interested in craft distilling, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned fan. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh em gee! This place is AWESOME! Everyone was so mixed it was a whole vibe and the tastings were delicious and free. The people pouring were so knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time!!!! This is a St. Augustine must!
google avatar

Yelp
I have some awesome memories from here from previous events and visits.. I really enjoy the history and the story of this place. The people here are super nice. The tours are fun to take and you see something different every time. The store has great items for birthday and christmas gifts. The best part of shopping and visiting the distillery is they're super generous in pour samples and drinks as I always seem to be smiling and louder than usual when I leave. a true staple for St Auggie

Yelp
I bought a ticket for the Spirit of Florida Bourbon Experience. I checked in at the counter quite early, and was given a wristband for the tour. We were invited to visit the gift shop or wait in the lobby before the tour started. We were given free samples of a Florida mule drink while we waited as well. When the tour started, we were sent to a classroom like are where we were lectured about the spirits and given 4 different samples to try. Then we visited the distillery area and learned how their process worked. Our guide, Nelson, was very informative and entertaining, and the spirits were very strong. I wished we were given the spirits samples at the end as we we were quite tipsy and lost track of what our guide was discussing, but I guess better early then late so you can sober up and drive safely back home. The gift shop was nice and had lots of souvenirs to buy, and there was even a restaurant too. I didn't buy any gifts or eat in the restaurant, but maybe next time. Parking was free at their lot, but it can get difficult to find one during the busy hours. For 40 dollars after taxes and fees, the guided tour was nice and informative. And the samples are pretty strong. It was a fun and enjoyable experience, and will definitely be back for another experience.

Yelp
I had a great time visiting this distillery. It was engaging, the employees were all super friendly & who can say no to a self guided tour with free samples?! From the moment you walk in there's someone to greet you & explain what they have to offer. There's a variety of drinks to sample & they tell you how to make the cocktails if you want to do it at home. The distillery is on the smaller side but you can really see how much character is packed within their walls. You're surrounded by the barrels & stills that they use to craft their delicious bourbons in while the smell of their mash fills your nostrils. It's heavenly. I also did the "perfect pair tasting experience" which only costs $24. During this, you're given 3 samples of their bourbon along with 3 specialty truffles from a local chocolatier. The idea behind this experience is learning how to profile the bourbons based off its many different flavor notes. The guide gives a history of the drinks, as well as the distillery & helps you navigate the fun task of sampling flavorful bourbons. I strongly recommend giving this tour a go if you want to enjoy your visit even more than what they offer for free! They even credit you part of your tour fee back as a gift card to use in their shop after. Coming here is a great time if you're looking for something to do a little off the beaten path of downtown. You can definitely make a good time out of your visit here if you play your cards right. There's multiple guided experiences also, one of which you can bottle your own bourbon during. If the free route is more your pace then you'll still be plenty satisfied with your visit. I can't wait to come back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
The St. Augustine Distillery The Spirit of Florida Bourbon Experience was very informative, engaging and enjoyable! Patrick our instructor (Bourbon steward) guided us throughout the tour, which started in a classroom setting, with the introduction to bourbon, then through the Distillery (on a very warm and humid afternoon) to learn about how the Bourbon was made and as such ended at the gift shop, throughout which we enjoyed several tastings.

Yelp
We visited St. Augustine Distillery on a Monday around noon. The people here are always super friendly. We did the self guided tasting tour, which is ideal because they've got a lot of information posted and you can choose how much or how little to read. The tour is free and included 4 drinks: a mule, a gin and tonic, a rum tiki, and an old fashioned. At the end of the tour you can also try any of their liquors at the tasting bar. I love the vodka here, it's very refreshing and unique. This place also sells used aging barrels which is really cool! I'd definitely be interested in buying one as decoration, but we didn't have space in the car on the way back from the weekend trip. I will definitely be back at st Augustine distillery on my next trip over, and maybe leaving with a barrel in tow!
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend this Distillery, have been several times and it never disappoints! Patrick ran our class and he was very knowledgeable and fun to take class with!

Yelp
We really enjoyed the tour! They are available 7 days a week from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. We did the self-guided tour. We tasted their 4 signature cocktails. We enjoyed the rum drink and the old fashioned whiskey the best. I'm a lightweight with drinks so I was feeling pretty good afterwards. The craft distillery is located in the oldest 1907 ice plant in the US. I was intrigued by all the whiskey barrels lined up. The ambiance was cool and fun that day. I'm so glad that we decided to tour it. Parking is not easy around there so pull out your patience, you will need it.

Yelp
We stopped in on a weekday in September so not the busiest season, and had no issues with parking. This is a small local distillery and we enjoyed the self guided tour. What's really fascinating is the number of different spirits they produce out of this operation. Having visited many of the Bourbon Trail stops, this was definitely small by comparison but they do a great job with the history of both the location and the spirits production. Samples along the way so you can appreciate what they are doing and a full gift shop at the conclusion. A great option when in St. Augustine.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
We came on a weekday when they were not busy. We easily found parking in their small lot. Each room had a tasting that was provided after a short informative speech about the drink. I enjoyed the tasting and tour of this cool distillery.

Yelp
Over the holidays, we decided to visit St. Augustine and visit the main distillery in town as well. There is no reservation needed for the self-guided tour which is great but if you want any of the special tours then make sure you buy it in advance. We saw a tour that we were mildly interested in which had availability for 7 people but just an hour later, when we arrived at the distillery in-person, the tour was already sold out. The self-guided tour is set in 4 different rooms. The first room is where you check-in and get to sample a cocktail made using a liquor (bourbon, gin, or vodka) that was born at the distillery. There are various displays about the history of the building and the ingredients used in making bourbon. The second room is the barrel and the distillation room. It's pretty cool to stand next to the actual barrels where the bourbon is being aged and stand next to the actual stilts that were used in the process. The third room has another cocktail tasting and a see-through glass where you can look at folks that paid big dollars filling their own $200 bottle of bourbon. The fourth and last room is the gift shop where you get to sample the last cocktail as well as shop. Be aware that Florida based Total Wine prices are either the same or lower than at the distillery which was a bit of a surprise. You would think that they would reward the customers for making the trek to their manufacturing plant by selling items for a little less than in stores. Not to mention that they're selling directly to the consumer without dealing with a middle-man. Overall, our experience was very positive. All the staff was very passionate about their products and greeted everyone with a smile.
google avatar

Simone M.

Yelp
I decided to come here after my happy hour lunch at Ice Plant not realizing they're in the same building. Checking in was pretty easy, I was so excited since it was my birthday! This tour was a self guided tour and free. The first stop was a Florida mule, and I loved the St Augustine vodka. It was so smooth! Next, you walk through the distillery where you can see all of the barrels and it's definitely picture worthy! The second & third samples were together, where it was a tiki rum and gin & tonic sample. I really liked the gin & tonic where it had a citrusy taste to it. The last stop was the bourbon sample, where you get to sample an old fashioned. It was really good, and that's coming from a vodka girlie like myself! I would definitely order this. Since I went on a Friday and a holiday weekend, it was pretty busy so the last stop on the tour the bartenders were attentive to larger groups rather than someone who was solo. The last stop also has a gift shop filled with all things St Augustine Distillery. I would definitely come back during the week or on a Sunday afternoon when it's not as busy when I can actually ask questions and browse around for a new spirit.
google avatar

Shirley M S.

Yelp
They give a tour which includes sampling their different liquors and the additional ingredients used to make a drink. There are photos and information placards of the history of the distillery and how the products are and were produced. They have a beautiful gift shop with a bar at the center to help you decide on your purchase. The staff is helpful. Their gin is one of all time favorites!
google avatar

William J.

Yelp
It was a very nice tour that included free samples of Gin and Tonic, Rum Tiki's and and an Old Fashioned. It was also very informative about the distilling process. I wish I had been hungry, because I would have liked to try the food at the restaurant. Maybe next time.
google avatar

Yelp
You gotta visit when in St. Augustine. Our party walked from the San Sebastian Winery to the distillery, and it was an easily doable walk. The distillery tasting is free. I enjoyed reading the wall of the history when you walk in. There were a few different stops to try out different cocktails made with the liquors made here. I really enjoyed all of them. All tasty samples, and I like that the mixers are also able to be purchased in the gift shop area as well. Once you make it into the gift shop area, you can also taste a few additional options. In there are lots of shirts, bar ware, mixers, liquors, and more items. I thought the flow of the tasting was laid out nicely. The gift shop had a lot to look at and buy. Overall, it was a great experience. I was here about 45 minutes.
google avatar

Kristi S.

Yelp
I've been coming here since shortly after they opened in 2013 and somehow they manage to outdo themselves each time. Today, we did the bourbon tasting tour. Dominick was amazing! We learned a lot, tried some incredible bourbon, and had a great time.
google avatar

Trisha A.

Yelp
Amazing variety of bourbons and whiskeys rum vodka to try. Informative tours, especially about their sustainability with this company and allegiance to American products which I find very appealing.
google avatar

Lea D.

Yelp
My fiancé and I came by to take the distillery tour on a recent trip and it was so much fun. It was self guided but they had 4 stations throughout where you could try their spirits in a cocktail. We got to walk through the distillery and see where they make and bottle their drinks, etc. it was pretty cool, the staff were nice, and the factory was interesting to walk through.

Bill F.

Yelp
The whole idea of $5 to get thimbles of mixed cocktails is almost too funny . . . and not in a good way. At least they let us use the wrist bands as credit against a spirit purchase but it had to be the same day. If they are going to charge for the tastings, give us a reusable credit of the same amount for a bottle bought within 7 days, not the same day .. and let us "stack" the credits on a single bottle!
google avatar

Jozsi N.

Yelp
Such a cool place! They do free tours which are definitely worth taking the time to do. You get to sample thier different drinks made with alcohol and mixers made right there. We ended up buying two different bottles and mixers as they were just that good. We then used them at a party and everyone loved them as well.
google avatar

Rayna V.

Yelp
Went here right after San Sebastián Winery and I'm so glad we did! The staff here was super friendly and knowledgeable! I enjoyed the gin and tonic that they had and I'm not even a gin enjoyer usually! The information that was around the distillery was super interesting and I felt like I got something out of this other than yummy drinks!
google avatar

Jude B.

Yelp
Everything about this business offers a top notch experience. It's a historic building, a great tour and tasting, and gift shop, plus a restaurant! Not only was this a fun tasting with quality made spirits, they also use their own mixers to create tasty samples at each spirit station. Weaving my way thru the main floor is the vodka tasting station, thru the door to the barrel room and into the rum and gin station, and up the stairs to the main tasting room. The tasting is complementary and I decided to pay $15 for the high end bourbon and rum samples served in a petite glass snifter. (Ask them to add a droplet of water to open up these complex offerings). Both were a highlight, as were the Florida bourbon and the sherry aged bourbon. A gift shop is well stocked and beautifully displayed with a fine selection of products. I came home with socks, an ice cube tray, snifter glasses, old fashioned mixer and a variety pack of spirits. The 5 pack of half bottles was a good deal at $115 and will lend to fond memories of this trip to St Augustine. The friendly staff, especially Debbie & Cindy, made for a perfect visit for tasting education. I recommend going upstairs to the 3rd floor for lunch afterwards at Ice Plant restaurant to relax and see more of this building. (Make a pit stop at the toilette to see the throw back character of trough sink and pull tank plumbing.) I appreciated every detail of this top notch operation, the owners really know what they are doing. Kudos!!
google avatar

Diego R.

Yelp
Air conditioned tour was very excellent, well worth the money for the time and value that the guides give, not to mention the drinks here were emotionally charged with each sip taken.
google avatar

Brad H.

Yelp
Great distillery. The tasting is free. I can't remember another free tasting anywhere. They have four tastes using mixes as you pass through the distillery. At the end you can taste any of their products neat. As far as I can tell all products are free with the exception of a $150 bottle of Bourbon. That will run you $15 if memory serves me. But you get a 'free' glass and $10 off that bottle if you pick one up. That is all completely understandable and reasonable, especially if you consider that you can taste a dozen distilled spirits for free. We liked their rum and their less expensive Bourbon and picked up a bottle of each. ...again we fond reasonable pricing. Decent products good prices and who can argue with free tastings?
google avatar

Roger Renzo R.

Yelp
My experience in this distillery was not the best. When I arrive there, the guy at the door welcome me friendly and I had high expectations. The free tasting had couple of stop where we tried multiple cocktails with the liquors they offer. The first stop was fine, but the cocktail felt very diluted and I couldn't really feel the taste of the liquor. To get to the second stop we need to walk through some barrels which was cool, but once there the experience was not good. The server completely ignore me and my gf and just call to get the tasting to certain people that arrived after us. We just made space for us. We tried the cocktails she gave but they were not good. The last stop gave us some whiskey but not good. We also tried to find the products at the store but everything was difficult to find because it seemed disorganized. Don't think I'll be back.
google avatar

Erica H.

Yelp
We did the Florida Experience Tour and had an excellent time. Our tour guide Nelson was the best. We even ended up doing the bottle your own and walked out with $750 worth of goodies. One of the best distillery tours we've been on yet
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Ice plant/ st Augustine distillery never disappoints. Drinks at the bar were amazing. Tried something new I had the Stand by your man which was delicious and fruity and my husband got the Garden in the sky. For brunch I had the BROKEN-YOLK EGGWICH which was A plus delicious and my husband got the steak sandwich. We also shared the pimento appetizer but both devoured it before I could take a picture. It's by far one of the best places to eat in st Augustine. 10 out of 10
google avatar

Victor C.

Yelp
The service at the front counter and throughout the facility were excellent. The ambiance really made me feel like if I was present while the bourbon is being made. The taste of the bourbon was smooth. Unique taste and flavors. Well explained.
google avatar

Nick K.

Yelp
Great free self guided tour with various samples. Head to the bar in the store and make sure to try their higher proof selection.
google avatar

Janice K.

Yelp
this place is conveniently located toward historic downtown St Augustine. The regular tour and tastings are included for free. You can pay for additional tours and more tastings if you want. They have an amazing gift shop and a bottle your own whiskey experience. Definitely come here if you're in St Augustine.
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
We did a tasting and tour experience led by Dominic and he was not only knowledgeable, but kind and entertaining as well. We recently visited a few of the distilleries in Louisville while traveling, and his class has been our favorite experience of all of them!
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
Going through the free tour/tasting was a fun experience. You get four free tastings while walking through and learning about how they make their spirits. The servers were great at relaying the information about the spirits and specific drinks you're tasting at the time. The drinks were tasty too! You end the tour at the merch area, where they have plenty of cool merch items to choose from. Some items were pricey while others were reasonably priced. We wanted to sit at the restaurant but it was too long of a wait- I recommend trying to get a reservation ahead of time if you can. Also, parking is limited. We had to park down the road and take a short walk. Overall, a good experience.
google avatar

Greg L.

Yelp
This is a tour you MUST take when visiting St. Augustine! The tastings are free, and the tour is self-guided. (You can also reserve a guided experience.) You walk in and you are greeted by very enthusiastic personnel. They explain the process and you can walk along and explore the museum at your own pace. While walking through the museum/distillery, you experience three separate tasting areas, featuring some of their award-winning spirits, including Florida Cane Vodka, New World Gin, Pot Distilled Rum and Florida Straight Bourbon. At the last tasting stop, you can even ask to taste the individual liquors themselves after tasting them in the cocktail samples provided. They also sell their own Mixers and many of them are perfect with the liquor accompaniment. After walking through the production process area, you can purchase liquor, mixers and other gift items in the Retail Shop. Once you peruse the items in the shop, I suggest you go to the bar area upstairs where you can purchase and enjoy some excellently prepared cocktails. There is a front and back bar and plenty of booth seating upstairs. We sat at the front bar and enjoyed the camaraderie of our fantastic trio of bartenders named Geo, Jim and Chyna. We purchased several drinks, but our favorites were the Mule (vodka, ginger, lime and sparkling water) and the "Valley of the Dolls" (vodka, cranberry-orange marmalade, dry curacao, lemon and Jamaican bitters with floating cranberries on top). Now I know why Neely O'Hara kept yelling "I want a doll! I want a doll!" in the movie!! We had so much fun on Friday afternoon that we came back Saturday night for a nightcap as St. Augustine Distillery has a late-night happy hour menu on the weekend from 10:30pm-1:30am. They also have additional happy hour times throughout the week. This tour was a blast and the building itself is an old ice plant. The vintage bar is something to see. It really is a great experience!

Yelp
Cool experience. Great drinks and souvenirs. Visited last weekend and did a free self guided tour with friends and we got to sample different drinks along the way. A must try if you're in St. Augustine!

April S.

Yelp
It was a toss up between this distillery and the winery. We opted for the distillery and I wasn't too impressed. The ladies in the front room were really good and super nice. The drink we had in the front room was amazing, I believe it was the Florida mule. Other than that there was no explanation of how the liquors were made, or even being able to see where they were made. Not a place I would rush back to. They show you these glasses you can buy to sample the liquor in and say you can use that to take $10/$15 off a bottle of liquor. They fail to tell you it's $10/$15 off of the $200 bottle of liquor. We sampled the $200 bottle of whiskey and it was not a smooth whiskey at all either.
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
The liquor they make is very delicious. The atmosphere is that of an old ice mill. The service was very friendly and helpful. We didn't do the full tasting but we were able to taste what we wanted in the shop. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but the rum and gin they make are excellent. I'd love to return to do the full tasting someday.

Yelp
No food. Took a self tour of the distillery. They offered 4 free tasters. All of the vendors at each station was personable and informative. They had a mix for old fashions that when mixed with their toasted bourbon is quit dangerous and unspeakably good. I'll be enjoying this mixture at home

Yelp
This place is really neat. It apparently used to be an ice house, but is really interesting how they've separated out the different levels to have different liquor tastings. I really liked all of the mixed drinks, except for the last one because it was so bourbon heavy. However, my uncle and husband loved it! Especially for this tour giving you many free samples, I'm amazed it's free!! Definitely recommend as one of your stops while you're in st Augustine.

Yelp
We had the best time here. First arrived on the trolley and did the free tour. Got to see some neat things and taste some of their spirits. Went next door to the Ice Plant for lunch and then came back for our 4:30 Bourbon tasting experience. Dominick was brilliant, the bourbon was awesome, and we got to learn more about their process. The shop is awesome as well. Definitely worth the visit!

Yelp
I went here on a Monday and enjoyed all of the tasting. If you're on the fence about paying the extra $10 to try the special bourbon do it it's so good and you get in a keepsake glass to take home The staff was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the bourbons and the rum and vodkas highly recommend if you're in the area you pop in

Yelp
We visited this place with the intention of taking the tour. The staff in the main area was fantastic. However, when we began the tour, we encountered a person who made me leave the tour abruptly due to her extremely rude behavior. Her attitude was utterly unprofessional and the worst I've ever seen. Despite this, the place itself was okay. We didn't eat there, but we did have a few drinks. Very laid back environment.
