Saint Jean de Malte

Amazing church to visit. Templar symbolism evident and beautiful layout. A lovely visit outside service hours.

Not the grandest Catholic Church, but beautiful nonetheless

Beautiful church!

My favourite church in Aix, the use of light is beautiful (and reminiscent of more English gothic cathedrals!), the building is well-maintained and actively used for worship. The lingering scent of incense is delightful as one walks in. It has spaces for contemplation and prayer. Didn't hear the organ unfortunately, but it looks new and shiny and exciting!

Once you step inside, your head will roll as you will be surrounded by history and beauty at the same time, yet a tour guide should be available all the time to answer visitors questions.

An old church, really beautiful!

I wanted to visit it but one strange lady told me I couldn't enter because I was dressed in t-shirt (in July).

A wonderful church. Prime location. A wonderful venue for concerts as well as mass. Check it out.
