Coffee & pastries are a must try. Both bakery & deli are tiny and they're always full (been here a few times). Most recent experience wasn't great. One of the staff from the deli was rude. It was lashing outside, nowhere to sit, outdoor benches were wet, we put our take away coffee on top of the "display shelf" while waiting for a table. We had 2 bags of pastries and umbrellas and we were asked not to leave our coffees on the shelf. We just wanted to enjoy our coffee while not getting wet. (Photos were from our very first visit)

The barista here is really sweet. I had an issue with my card and faced payment issues due to that. She severed up my order nonetheless and asked me to enjoy my order and offered to let me pay once I'm done. I had a hot chocolate and later came back for a pizzola bun. That made for a DELIghtful experience despite my card failure.

Cute little cafe in a quieter area of Amsterdam. All plant-based so you have all the pastries/sandwiches to choose from. The staff are friendly and nice and the food is tasty. Loved the cinnamon croissant and the Hoisin bun!

One of the best cafés in Amsterdam, offering an amazing selection of treats and freshly baked bread. You can also pick up some lovely extras like jam or spreads to take home. Seating is quite limited, so be prepared to wait or grab your order to go. You can even peek into the bakery through one of the windows to see the magic happening.

Nice little space with some great options. Would highly recommend the whipped feta focaccia.
Be aware: they only serve alternative milks. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the chai or hot chocolate. The atmosphere was nice, with a relaxed vibe. Very expensive - at almost €50 for two drinks and two sandwiches

Saint Jean Deli has some of the most incredible pastries I’ve tried, absolutely worth the hype. The quality is top-notch, from the texture to the flavours. Just be prepared for a long queue, especially on weekends. It’s that popular, and for good reason.
