A lifetime wish came true visiting this beautiful cathedral where Grace Kelly was married and laid to rest. Standing inside such a historically and emotionally significant place was deeply moving. The cathedral is gigantic in size, yet the feeling it gives goes far beyond its scale. Its beauty, serenity, and presence are something I can’t fully explain in words — you truly have to experience it in person. An unforgettable and meaningful visit, and an absolute must-see in Monaco.

It is truly a beautiful and reverent place. This cathedral is where the famous American actress Grace Kelly was married and is now buried here. She is loved by many people forever even after death, so I don't think she will ever be lonely. Princess Grace... I hope you sleep soundly.

A Catholic church built in the Neo-Romanesque architectural style and dedicated to Notre-Dame (Virgin Mary). Impressive religious artworks, sculptures and glass panels adore this enormous place of worship. Wasn't lucky to linger more than 15 mins as there was a planned baptism on that Sunday.

The Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate is a beautiful landmark that combines spiritual importance with impressive architecture. Built in white stone, it has a bright and elegant exterior, while the interior is peaceful and decorated with fine details. It is also the resting place of Monaco’s princes and Princess Grace, which gives it special historical significance. The cathedral offers a calm atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit for both its religious and cultural value.

Spectacular structure. It's not as decorated as you'd expect but the architecture is brilliant. Super high. Holds the tombs of the princesses of Monaco. Worth walking over 5 minutes from the palace.

The Monaco Cathedral is an absolute masterpiece of Neo-Romanesque style. Built with dazzling white stone from La Turbie, it stands proudly on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, creating one of the most striking vistas on the Riviera. What’s remarkable is how the building harmonizes with its natural setting—the bright stone façade almost glows against the lush greenery and rocky cliffs, making it a landmark visible from sea and land alike. Even if you’re not particularly religious, the architecture alone makes this a must-see. It’s an elegant example of Romanesque revival done right.

Just a short stroll from the palace lies Monaco’s Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, a quietly splendid stone sanctuary that radiates calm, class, and just the right amount of royal gravitas. Built in creamy white stone, the cathedral is elegant without being flashy — think duchess, not diva. Inside, it’s cool and composed, with soft light, soaring arches, and a deep sense of peace that gently insists you lower your voice and your pulse. It’s also the final resting place of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III, their tombs marked with simple dignity amid quiet reverence. The organ is magnificent, the acoustics divine, and the atmosphere just the tonic for a hot Riviera afternoon. Step in for a moment of stillness and grace and perhaps to give your sunhat a break.
