Saint Patrick's Hotel Gozo

We have just returned to Ireland after having a very pleasant time at St Patrick's Hotel. Both the hotel and Xlendi are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The staff at the hotel are friendly and efficient. Our room, which was cleaned every day, was good with everything you would require. The breakfast selection was vast and very, very good. Our room choice was budget but next time we are booking a room with a sea view. Xlendi is beautiful with excellent restaurants and, I feel, will become our go to place in the future. Thank you all at St. Patrick's.

The hotel staff were very friendly and kind. When you have a request, they can quickly find a solution. The rooms were spacious, airy, and very clean. The bathroom was also very clean, but a bit old; it would be better if it were renovated. The breakfast was truly sufficient and delicious. The hotel's view was very beautiful. If you're looking for a romantic and quiet holiday, you can comfortably choose this place.

We booked through love holidays. No help with adjusting stay. Contacted them to inform them we would only need 6 nights not 7, as our flight didn't land until 2 am, so we did not want to travel a further 2 hours to the hotel from the airport. No compensation was offered for this. ||Arrived to a twin room. They did send someone quickly to push the beds together. They put a large sheet on the bed, but there was no zip to keep the mattresses together, so they just slipped apart all the time. Also the mattress was far from hotel quality, more like hostel. ||It is clear the hotel had not been done up since it was built. The ceiling, grout etc was filthy. Even smaller things like the shower curtain was all pink with other people's body fat and other unidentifiable stains. The toilet brush was also filthy. ||The shower had bad water pressure.||The only tv station in English is the discovery channel, which wouldn't usually bother me on holiday, but it was so hot we ended up spending some time in the room. Could do with smart TVs, it's 2025. Also the volume button on the remote wouldn't work, they did send someone to look at it, and he directed us to use the button on the television.||No drinking water provided at all.||I could go on. ||The elevator was a death trap, is dropped by 2 inches when you got into it. It would get stuck on the top floor. I would have avoided it altogether, but I am 6 months pregnant and we were on the top floor.||The bay is pretty, but really nothing else to do there. You can swim in the ocean, but there is no place to sit outside unless you are in a restaurant or bar. ||You need a car to stay here for a week because there is not much to do in the bay itself. But parking outside is hard to get, we spent nearly an hour driving in circles multiple times trying to get parking. ||I am usually not one to complain, I'm not hard to please, but this place was so old, dirty and disappointing I don't want anyone else to get stung. ||Also the pictures on the love holiday website are of their superior rooms, making it look like you get a balcony. You don't. We were going to change from the second night onwards which the staff said was possible, but after the first night being so loud, and the other rooms would have been closer to the action outside, we chose to stay where we were. ||Last note, the staff were all very friendly and kind, and clearly very hard working.

After the noise and chaos of Sliema we fled to the peace of Gozo, and the beauty of the St Patrick's Hotel. The location is stunning and the hotel is beautiful in an old-fashioned way. We had a seaview balcony whic felt almost above the waves. The staff were very helpful and friendly, advising us on the Gozo Carnival, which was great fun, and also the local sights and restaurants.

Wonderful location, helpful and friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms. An excellent breakfast buffet. We ate a few evenings at the hotel outside, all the meals we had were delicious, wonderful Caesar Salad and the Chicken stuffed with Brie and strawberry was incredibly tasty. Will definitely try to visit again.

The hotel was very clean and elegant. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was good but the bathroom was outdated the shower needs an upgrade. But bathroom was very clean. The hotel is in an amazingly beautiful area. Lots of restaurants. Easy access to swimming. We rented a peddle boat nearby. It was so beautiful going around the cove in Xlendi. The roof top has an amazing view. Tiny roof top pool. Super cute.

visited on 15.7.2025 in the early evening after swimming. I was sitting with my family in the garden in front of the restaurant. After a while, the waiter noticed us and took care of us in a very professional way. I tried Fish And Chips for food and my girlfriend tried pizza. The food was relatively cheap and very tasty. I praise the level of service and quality of food. As a high-level traveler, I recommend this restaurant on Google Maps and thank you. Greetings from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿🇨🇿

My mum and I stayed here in April. We try to stay here at least once a year. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The food is always good and the rooms are always clean. Recently they have done some refurbishments in the hotel and the reception and the restaurant are much brighter and feel more spacious. I would recommend coming here if you want a quiet place to relax.
