The ice and snow sculptures were amazing. The warming tent had Baileys and Bingo and bingo cards were only a dollar! They had about eight food trucks, nice variety of food. Rock band played while we were there, fun time!

This used to be fun. Food trucks, beer, and music outside. Warming tents. Way to screw up a good time. $25 to go into the continental to listen to a band. Dumb

What has happened to the winter carnival? There was nothing going on downtown. No beer tent, music, etc..we were told a lot of those events were at the continental hotel for $25-$30 a ticket. Dumb! It's Minnesota, we love the outdoors. We left within 15 minutes. Next year we'll check the events calendar before we waist our time.

Winter Carnival has been a large part of my life for most of my life. It is absolutely one of my favorite things about home and one of the very few winter activities I look forward to. Always tell people they need to go if they have never been!

I enjoyed the Winter Carnival Parade yesterday. It was a fun family activity. Will definitely attend again next year.

The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is a beautiful tradition that continues to bring joy and wonder to the hearts of the people in the dead of frozen winter, a feat worthy of note in this state. The ice sculptures are always a treat to enjoy, and all of the activities such as ice skating, ice slide, music, and festivities are wonderful celebrations of the indomitable and joyous human spirit. My only criticism lies not with the event but with the changing world that threatens much of that had made the event so great; the world has become a place where the ice Palaces, once grand and magical towering structures that inspired true awe, are no longer as in the old days... That part of the human drive (and the funding to sustain it) have seemingly dried up, and the changing climate threatens it just the same. But this is the way of the world, and the human ability to adapt and carry on despite is impressive in itself.

So much fun each year! The Sculptures inspired by kiddos at the Children's hospital was great. The Sculptures, ice and snow are my favorite part each year

We happen to catch the parade, it was nice but my son didn’t get much candy (he’s 8). Very busy place! A couple years ago there was a huge ice castle but this year not that I could see. We could only find 4 ice sculptures....overall fun experience, we stayed about an hour and half.
