Booking San Trópico was honestly the best decision we made! Everything — from the staff to the suites, the food, and the cleanliness — was absolutely top-notch. We stayed for 8 days and loved every single minute. The staff is so sweet, and I really appreciated that they offer free bikes for guests. The food and drinks were amazing too! I can’t recommend this place enough — we truly had the best time. Plus, it’s located in a very safe neighborhood and super close to the airport, which made everything so easy. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. Would come back in a heartbeat!

5 night stay in the “wild” room. Room has an outdoor bathroom. No microwave! Very loud construction taking place outside the room - see my video. Noise started around 8AM so definitely couldn’t sleep in. Quiet pool with few kids. Restaurant next to pool has good food and drinks. Breakfast buffet is adequate and costs 295 pesos. We spent most of our time at the pool. I’m not sold on the outdoor bathroom for a more expensive rate. I did get some mosquito bites. Insects can easily get inside the room through doors and windows. 50 peso uber drive to the Marina or 20 minute walk through the golf course. The hotel is nice if you’re looking for something that is less commercial and smaller than a typical hotel.

Came here for a few days on a girls trip and the hotel is not too far from the airport. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area is nice. Drinks at the bar is pretty pricy though. There was a thunderstorm on one of the nights we were there and the electricity went out for a few seconds which caused an issue with the gate code. So we weren’t able to get in one late night and had to book another hotel for the night. But the staff and owner was very understanding and we were compensated for that night. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be visiting again!

My wife and I stayed here on the last night in PVR, the proximity to the airport was the main reason for booking as well as taking a chance on the Wild Studio! The pictures are exactly what you get, its super different but cool. We didnt know what to expect staying here in the middle of the San Tropico court yard with an outdoor bathroom etc but it was honestly, great. The outdoor bathtub and shower were great, nice and warm, no issues at all, felt very private even though you could hear people around you, the plants etc hide you very well. It was super clean, the bed was very comfortable. Only suggestion I'd have is to find a way to seal the windows on the bathtub side so Geckos etc cant come in. Didnt experience that but my wife was worried about it. ||We also got to use the hotel ammenities, the pool was heated and was the perfect temperature! Clean and no harsh chemicals, was a relief from the all inclusive we were at prior to coming here. The front desk staff were very nice, hotel is in a great location, there is a restaurant but we didn't use it. We did Uber Eats for dinner and it was fast and delicious! ||We would recommend this to anyone looking for a stop over in a good area, walking distance to the marina and close to the airport.

San Tropico is well worth it, especially if you can get the one Wild Studio. The airplane noise isn’t bad at all being so close to the airport. The entire property and room is sparklingly clean. Everyone is super friendly and does an amazing job. We love Jorge especially, he’s so funny and kind. The pool, the food and the drinks are incredible for the price. The only tiny downside is the location which is a little far from the main areas in PV but Uber is cheap and a walk to the marina is fun and quick. It’s dead quiet at night and so relaxing. I wish they served dinner but makes sense they don’t since most people go into the town for dinner. For the price, you can’t get a better sleep nor relaxing stay. Skip the big hotels and come here, you won’t regret it for a second.

Amazing little gem of a hotel! So close to the airport, and walking distance to the marina for dinner. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Jorge showed us to our rooms and gave us a whole tour, which was so sweet! The rooms are ginormous, they’re more like apartments. A/C worked great, bed was super comfy, kitchen was well equipped. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or bar area but it looked great and well attended by others. We’ll definitely return!

This is a great little place to stay. Our family stayed in a 2 bedroom that was comfortable and clean. Ask for instructions on how to use the shower and you will have hot showers everyday! Pool was quiet and clean, the restaurant was really good and fair prices. We went to Sabal Beach club 3 separate days and would highly recommend that as well. There is a beach you can walk to (10 minutes) but its not great for swimming. We used Uber a ton to dine out, but also had some meals at the Marina (20 minute walk). We used the bikes to get groceries and go for ice cream. Overall this was a great vacation and ended up costing much less than an all inclusive and was very quiet which is what we were looking for.

Very small hotel with very large apartment style rooms. Photos of the nterior rooms are true to what they show on their website. The 2 bedroom units come with a kitchen furnished with dishes and pots/pans. Onsite restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and appetizers. They also offer a selection of resonably priced drinks at the bar that was open until 6pm. Great for being away from the crowds and located in a golf course community. All staff are friendly and helpful. You will need to take an Uber/Taxi to go most places as they are not in the heart of town. I have stayed here three times and find it to be a great place to have the comforts of home in a quiet setting.
