Amazing Experience at Sakana House! I had a wonderful dining experience at Sakana House Japanese Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was attentive, polite, and very professional. I also really loved the atmosphere; it was warm, inviting, and perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Japanese cuisine. Definitely worth the price!

TLDR: Pretty good food with some exceptions! Fairly pricey. Bad for noise sensitivity if you go at peak dinner hours. --- All you can eat, and we've eaten here many times! It is expensive though, be warned! Definitely go earlier than your regular dinner time, as it gets pretty busy quickly and once it does, sometimes some of your orders will be missed. Given that it's all you can eat, though, that's not a huge deal. What is to me, though, is that it gets quite noisy in such a small space! I would avoid the "assorted tempura" option here- i find that they're always kind of lukewarm. The singular ones though have been good! There's no "ice cream tempura" on the all you can eat menu as I'm seeing on my Google review page, just so you know! Staff isn't overly friendly but still provides good service over all so I don't mind :) All in all an enjoyable experience, we'll continue going here for sure!

One of the best sushi places in Barrie, the menu is pretty big, there’s a lot of options, everything is always pretty fresh and the service is really fast considering how busy they always are. Will be our go to sushi here in Barrie.

Limited lunch options, the sushi was decent but the kitchen (non sushi orders) were low quality and missing many options normal AYCE places have. Service was mixed as I got double orders on some items and missing orders on others. The atmosphere was as you would expect.

Absolutely everything I had here was spectacular!! I've been to over 10 AYCE Sushi places across the GTA... This is my #1! Excuse the photo.. maybe I can stage a better one when I come back :)

Took Daughter for lunch to celebrate her 19th Birthday, Food, Service and Atmosphere is outstanding. Hands down the Best All you can Eat Sushi lunch in Barrie. The Gentleman (Owner/Manager) had such an incredible presence. He walked around each table and spread such radiant, positive energy. I've never experienced such an amazing, vibrant, uplifting level of service. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion

This used to be our favourite sushi restaurant until it started downgrading.😕The eat-in is not bad, and the service isn’t too slow, but the take out is horrendous. We ate-in and asked when we were ordering we asked for certain rolls to be to go. We ate our food and it was quite delicious. We then realized that 2 of our rolls hadn’t come yet, and since we needed to go, we asked for them to go. When we got in the car we decided to continue eating. I had ordered a Philadelphia roll, with salmon, avocado, and cream cheese. The roll tasted like they had taken everything that had gone bad in the kitchen and thrown it together. The salmon was expired, the avocado brown, and I don’t even want to know how old the cream cheese was.

Another outstanding dining experience at Sakana House. The quality of the food remains consistently high, with each dish prepared and presented with care. Service is prompt and efficient, with exceptionally friendly and attentive staff who ensure that every order is accurate and delivered with a smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly elevate the overall experience.
