"Visited Saks at Stony Point around 5 PM, and it looked completely closed from the outside with pull-down gates covering the windows. It's no wonder sales and services are suffering when customers can't even tell the store is open. Poor presentation and lack of effort to attract shoppers—disappointing!"

I’ve shopped a lot at Saks. More for my husband than myself. Richmond doesn’t have a lot of stores like Saks but the customer service is superb. I have shopped at Saks in different states and they offer a more tailored experience with beverages offered, however the service is still top notch. It’s better to go in looking like money than not if you want faster service.

I had a return from an online order. I was very pleased with the lady who did the return. The issue was while I was looking at perfume two employees were staring at me as if I was going to steal something. The lady pretended she was working and watching me as I was shopping. I confronted here and she gave this pitiful apology. I stayed a few more minutes and she didn't stop. I became angry and decided to leave without here getting a commission off of me. I will never return to that store ever again. I feel I was being watched because I was a black female. I need to cancel my credit card because I'm not using it

If 0 stars were an option, I'd pick that. I scheduled an appointment with a beauty consultant a week in advance. The confirmation email said to arrive 10 minutes ahead of time. I arrived early but the store was still closed so I waited outside in the cold for 10 minutes. Upon entering, I asked the man unlocking the doors (presumably the manager) where I needed to go for my appointment. He said any of the ladies at the beauty counter could assist. I approached the lady and told her I had an appointment and showed her the email, and explained what I was there for. She had never heard of appointments being offered but said she could help. I told her I wanted to find the right foundation that worked for my skin and skintone. She didn't ask me any questions to understand my skin and immediately said how about Chanel? I asked why she picked that one to start without understanding my concerns or my skin type, and she said I don't know, maybe you want Chanel. I told her this already wasn't right for me. I picked Saks because i wanted to find highly trained cosmetic professionals that could guide me, rather than someone just picking a brand to push. I already knew this wasn't going to work if she didn't want to even ask me about what I needed or anything about my skin. I tried to call to talk to the manager to see if they have someone better trained or even how they take appointments but no one seems to know about them. The automated answering service doesn't even give you the option to speak with anyone at the store, just about your credit cards or placing an order. This was a bad experience and not in line with their brand reputation.

0 stars !!!!! Super super disappointed with the customer service at this location ! I came in to look for a gift and was not helped at all ! From the perfume counter , handbags, nor women’s shoe section. I got stared at , no hello , no assistance what so ever ! I’ve never experienced anything like this at a “ luxury “ store. I will not be returning back to this location and that’s sad considering Richmond doesn’t have any high end stores smh.

-0 stars I should have researched this company before I placed my order, everything in the reviews are true, customer service is horrible no one is on the same page. They tell you they can’t track an order if it was placed in the store, and you have to call the store. One rep today said she would send a email regarding our conversation still nothing and a gift card for the inconvenience. Just horrible customer service. And they don’t tell the truth just bs you.

Aaaahhhh, great vibes it's giving "RICH" vibes. Had a great experience shopping around. The staff was so knowledgeable & friendly. Willing to go the xtra mile to make sure all my questions were answered. Such a beautiful ambiance. The fitting room is set up for try-ons. The restroom🚻 is so classy, like a little get-away🤭 and also well stocked and clean. Can't wait 2 return when I have more browsing time. Even had great sales and clearance sections.

I was just there with my daughter to do a makeup return and had my receipt and was treated so rude that I couldn't believe it .. Patsy was the first person I had to act like she didn't know anything and then there's an Asian lady that had severe poor training skills and was saying she hadn't had lunch and they both need to be fired immediately .. If I knew this I'd never spend my money there .. it's obvious they don't like black people and I only saw black people their buying.. like literally they were having temper tantrums about nothing!!!

Pssst! I come here for the Chanel burgundy mascara! It's not too expensive and it lasts without getting clumpy. I love it!! I've also purchased other brands of make up and perfume here. The service is always exquisite! I love the cool Tory Burch tote I got here on sale and matching wallet. Upstairs there's a great selection of Spanx, got to be smooth... am I right? I also purchased a gorgeous dress for my daughter for a wedding we attended! It was fabulous! No, I don't shop here every day, but when I want to splurge or need some heavy duty retail therapy, Saks fits the bill. Literally... a lot of bills.

I went inside to purchase a YSL medium Lou Lou. The SA was helpful but a bit pushy for the sale. I wanted the bag so I was willing to wait as long as I needed to make a decision. The bag price was $2150.00. They didn't have it in stock so I ordered, I wanted to pay cash. The SA had me purchase a gift card, that I later found out was non refundable. I got over it, then before ordering she told me that should would provide next day shipping at no cost. Well I would pay the cost and have it returned to me after I received the bag and sent a photo to her. I love my bag, but the experience was a bit annoying. SA should have made it known that gift cards were nonrefundable.

I'm so done with this store. The woman behind the fragrance counter refused to help me tonight. When I approached the counter I told her I was looking for two fragrances. She shouted over to another sales girl and asked her to help me with my free samples. I told the new sales person I didn't want free samples....I was there to buy. When I asked for the fragrances and sales person number 1 found out I was buying her brand she made a bunch of excuses about why she didn't want to help. Too much to do and I approached from the side of the counter where people usually ask for free samples. She started telling me about the promotion, ready to make a sale now, knowing the potential worth of what I'm about to buy. They didn't have one of the fragrances and the more she talked the more pissed I got. I suppose I wasn't dressed properly to shop in saks and I actually asked them if I wasn't dressed properly (since my athletic wear obviously didn't cut it. Geez I thought I was rocking my best "athleisure" look). I left and bought the fragrances online. I'll call the store manager in the morning. This is ridiculous.

Hello I am Very disappointed. I placed an order and received an confirmation email on December 29th 2020 at 8:48am that my order is confirmed. And estimated arrival date of purchase is on January 5th. My order number is 112850137 .  I have contacted the customer service four times. The first agent took my personal information and hung up on me.  Then again I called talk to another agent, she put me on hold and disappeared. Then later I got hold of the first agent her name is 'Amelia' .  I asked her that, are we talking on a recorded line. And I would like to talk to her supervisor.  She put me on hold and later came back and told me that she would take care of everything. I had a promo code of 10% of which I wanted to apply.  And confirmed me that everything has been taken care of and I will receive my products soon.  And next day I received an email that my order is canceled. I wanted to know what she did ?  And now I'm not getting my shoes that I ordered. And I'm not getting my money back until 14 business days.  This is ridiculous. My question is What did the agent do ? That I had to go through this ?   I placed the order on 27th December & received the confirmation email on 28th December.  I talked to the agent Amelia twice on 29th December 2020.  And on the 30th December in the evening it gets canceled after she assured me that everything's taken care of.  My family and many of friends shop at Saks. I shop at Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus. I am a new customer at Saks. Very poor customer service.  Horrible experience. Saks customer service is not at all up to the standers compare to the other stores.  Long story short. You just wasted my time. And have given me hard time .Each time I called I was put on hold and I was on the phone for 30 to 40 mins. And now I have to wait 14 days for the money to get back to my card. The order total was $667.62  Thank you very much Saks Fifth Avenue for this horrible customer service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They only get one star because I can't give them 0. They sold my boyfriend the wrong sized suit even after he specifically asked the tailor if it fits. After spending over $2000 there, they tried to completely embarrass him when he tried to return one of them. And then once they lost the fight, the sales associate shook his head as he was making the return. It was obvious they only told him the suit fit so that they could make a sale. Know that all of the sales people work on COMMISSION. They could care less about your satisfaction, just your purchases. On another occasion, he called in and got a response "uh, we're busy. You need to call back later." On another time as we were leaving, someone drove 120 miles and tried to come in at the last minute return their $6000 cologne. They were just starting to close and didn't even let him into the store. If you want to to Saks, go to Tyson's Corner, NOT here. Absolutely ridiculous. You would expect after spending over $2000 you'd get decent customer service, not service you'd find at Abercrombie.

Absolutely horrible customer service in the women's dress department! My mother was treated like she didn't have a right to be in the store at all because she came straight from teaching a yoga class and had on yoga clothes. She was there for a second fitting for a $500 dress. She had every right to be there. Snotty, uneducated, not helpful staff who not only treated my mother with disrespect, but also talked to the seamstress like a dog! They took forever to even FIND my mother's dress that was already paid for!!!! Unacceptable

as far as upscale Richmond shopping goes, Saks is the place to go! Can only speak for the men's department but it is by far the best place to get the latest trends. Fantastic selection of denim, outerwear, t-shirts and shoes. Trust me this Saks has a better selection than the one in Tyson's. It's not even worth the drive up there Ask for Kenny! He's for sure the sharpest dressed person in there and will get you looking fresh in no time at all.

I can only really speak for the Chanel boutique, but they go above and beyond for their customer service. I do not live in the Richmond area, but when I called Beverly was more than attentive, giving me all the information I would need on the bags I was interested in, along with other options. On my first trip to Saks on my birthday, Dalila helped me find the bag I was looking for. I am not only in love with my first Chanel bag, but knowing that great customer service still exists. I have been in contact with her since and have purchased another bag because she knew I would love it and she keeps me updated on all the new things that they get in. I couldn't ask for more. I did buy a dress and some heels from Saks in Richmond as well, but unless the sales associates know you want to try something on and see that you're really interested in buying something or you look like you have money to spend, they are not very welcoming. That was a little discouraging, because you never know who could be there and how much they intend to spend. Nonetheless, during check out, everyone seemed to be more interested. Saks always has a good selection, not as extensive as other locations based on the Richmond market, but I always seem to find something I fall in love with. But a big thank you to the Chanel boutique, I love all of you ladies!

Last night we had reservations at Latitude seafood restaurant in the Richmond, VA Stonypoint complex for a 60th birthday celebration for my mother. Saks fifth Avenue had reserved the same area for a presentation from 5:30 pm until 7 is what we where told by the restaurant and that we would be pushed back by 1 half hour from our reservation time because the Saks event went over. Well that as far from true we ended up waiting until 9 because the groups refusal to honor the allotted amount of time. Many of our group are senior citizens and either had to stand and wait or leave because there health prohibited prolonged standing. My uncle as an example recently was released from a hospital stay. I have been a customer at Saks and many members of our family are as well, however this experience left us feeling angry at the employees inconsiderate behavior. I appreciate the need for continuous staff education but I think the group could have been more considerate by abiding by the reservation time.

What a heavenly place to be with luxurious brands right on your finger tips. Oh the tempations! Great selection especially in their shoe department in Valentino heels, Manolos & Tory Burch. I drifted into their jewelry department as well; they've got literally every style and design from brands like David Yurman that you'd think they'd only carry online. The sale reps are so gracious & do their best in fulfilling my requests. What a great place to shop!

Appreciate you getting back to me We are thankful Toy at least has a policy of warranty that is a year. Would you spend $250 and then have something of value like that break in 10 short months? Norstrom would have used the manufacturers warrenty and easily taken it back. It's not all about price and regardless Nordstrom will get this type of business from us. I know we are just 1 consuming family however I was very disappointed from what we have come to expect in quality department store shopping experiences.
