Sakulchai Place Hotel

Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good. Location is quite accessible. The room is quite old but clean. I just dont like the toilet bowl, since its old and the toilet cover is broken. Some equipment in the gym need to be fixed. Overall im satisfied with my stay.

Nice little hotel with friendly staff and relaxing swimming pool. I liked the small gym a lot. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very clean and affordable. We paid just 699 THB for one night. Even with this budget, they have a pool. Most budget hotels in Chiang Mai don't have elevators or private bathrooms, but this hotel has both. My favorite thing is the cleanliness. I'm not sure about the location if it's closed to the city center and famous areas or not, but that was okay for us because it's close to popular restaurants we wanted to visit, like Khao Soi Mae Sai and Huen Muan Jai.

A lovely hotel situated a short distance from the main road and nice little restaurants. I arrived early so my room wasn't ready. I decided to get a bite to eat whilst waiting in the cafe which is adjacent to the reception area. I ordered a spicy pad Krapao chicken which was delicious. The manager who served me also gave me some complimentary fruit and a glass of water and seemed very pleasant and friendly. I was eventually shown to my room earlier than check-in time. The room was spacious, very clean and bathroom functional. Air conditioning was good and there was a refrigerator with two bottles of water which were replenished each day. The small gym has two treadmills and two static bicycles overlooking the small pool which has several sun loungers to relax on although not much shaded area. The hotel itself is spotless and all the staff friendly. The price is very reasonable so as a low cost, budget friendly place to stay, near the walled city and the trendy Nimman area and in proximity to Chiang Mai airport I'd certainly recommend it👍

It is a clean hotel. The biggest problem is the window is locked and cannot be opened. You have to turn on the Aircon whenever you are in the room.The bathroom is very small, when you shower, the toilet bowl and whole floor get wet.

This is a pleasant hotel to stay. with a garden and pool and a small gym. Restuarant is good service. Breakfast was good with freshly cooked eggs.Bedroom was good size. Wifi working well.No wifi in TV though. Mattress was a bit too firm but I got use to it on the second night. Some local cafes and coffee shops turn left on main road and left again or go 10 minutes walk to One Nimman and Nimman area for cafes, coffee shops massages, bars shopping and the Maya Mall with cinemas shops & food courtI will stay again as value for money. .

We stayed about 9 days in this hotel. It’s really clean, calm and quiet place. We were in the 5th floor and we had a good view of the mountains too. Fully worth for the money spent. There’s a restaurant which is open until 3pm. There’s a decent gym and a clean swimming pool at the hotel. No laundry service provided by the hotel but we could get it done from a nearby small business. Location is good, very convenient but have to walk about 10 minutes to reach 7-11 or the Maya mall. Food and beverages can be easily delivered to the hotel via Grab.Room is spacious, bed is comfortable with a solid mattress, good air conditioning, ample hot water, free soap and shampoo, free bottles of water, daily efficient housekeeping. Staff were nice, efficient and professional. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Thanks
