We got recommended this place by a good friend, especially the ceviche! He wasn’t wrong! Besides that we had the glazed carrots, iberico croquettes, pork cheek tacos and prawn tartar. It was all amazing, especially the prawn tartar 😍 Jesus our waiter was very attentive!

If you’re looking for something a bit different, Bar Sal Gordo offers a fresh, modern take on traditional tapas that really stands out. Every dish we tried was excellent — the beef tartar was rich and flavorful, the tacos were bold and balanced, and the cauliflower couscous with salmon was light, creative, and perfectly prepared. Even the olives served at the start were full of flavor. What stood out just as much as the taste was the presentation. Every dish looked fantastic — not just ours, but everything we saw coming out of the kitchen. This place has real style and attention to detail. It’s a local spot with a Spanish-only menu, which adds to the charm and authenticity — something I truly appreciate. Prices are a bit higher than typical tapas bars, but the quality absolutely justifies it. A big thanks to our waitress for her warm, energetic, and professional service. A memorable and genuinely special dining experience.

Very creative menu, good portion and delicious, if you get tired of eating the traditional menu, this is the place to be! The fried kimchi chicken was over salty and the risotto needs to be bit more salty. Encountered sassy waitress as well

We waited for a bit before it opened for dinner time, since we didn't make a reservation. We loved the beer and tinto de verano so much! Some foods were a bit too salty, but most of them were great!! The presentation is super creative, the plates are all different, too. I don't remember the name but the black noodle thingy (in my picture) was my absolute favorite.

Natalia was our server extraordinaire! She guided our wine selection perfectly as well as her recommendations for tapas! The oxtail donut was amazing and not what we normally would have chosen!! What a great meal and conversations we had! Thank you Natalia and everyone for a wonderful taste experience!!

A truly surprising restaurant experience. The oxtail donut and the cold soup are must-tries. The risotto was also delicious, and the fried cod was presented in a very unique way. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to Ive for the warm and enthusiastic service.

If you're looking for something a bit different, Bar Sal Gordo offers a more modern take on traditional tapas dishes. Every dish was really tasty. While a bit pricier than regular tapas bars, the cost was still very reasonable for the quality of food. Even the olives provided at the start were really delicious. I tried a local sour beer, which I really enjoyed. Loved the mushroom and prawn risotto and the ceviche.
