A classy and welcoming restaurant where the food is delicious and well presented. Each course was carefully prepared and consistently very good, with clear attention to detail. The seafood linguine with pistachio was the highlight. Considering the quality of the dishes and the attentive service, the prices are reasonable. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience.

Amazing place for a food. Surprisingly good price for the food, service and place. The pasta is great, specially the pistacchio and shrimp. They have most of the menu gluten free, they invite for a fizzy wine and bread at the beginning. Atmosphere is relaxed, service good and food excellent.

Had the pleasure of dining at Sal8 while in Agrigento, and it genuinely impressed us. The atmosphere blended casual and upscale in the best way, and the service was excellent — warm and attentive — with a small but well-curated menu. We ordered the house-made ricotta ravioli with a buttery, creamy pistachio and almond Parmesan pesto, and it was outstanding — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Sal8 delivered one of the best meals of our entire trip. The cacao tagliatelle was, without exaggeration, the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten—perfectly balanced, earthy yet subtly sweet, and completely unforgettable. Truly next-level. We also had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, and both were bursting with flavor—fresh, delicate fish paired with incredibly rich and comforting potatoes done just right. The meal started with excellent Sicilian bread and olive oil, followed by thoughtfully paired wines that complemented each dish beautifully. We finished with a delectable tiramisu, the perfect ending to an already flawless meal. Beyond the food, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Four of us have been here over 2 weeks and eaten at very good restaurants…. SAL8 is the VERY BEST !! Great appetizers ! Freshest seafood ! Delicious meals and desserts are amazing!! Thank you SAL8 for our favorite meal and restaurant in Italy !!!!!

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and served homemade bread to start. We ordered the beef tartare, ravioli, linguine with red prawn and desserts. The beef tartare was incredibly fresh and both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. The linguine was the highlight! the best pasta we’ve ever had! The red prawn and pistachio sauce was rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. A solid 10/10. For dessert, we enjoyed the Tiramisu and Millefoglie, both of which were the perfect way to end our meal. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and truly satisfying. Although the service was a bit slow due to a small team managing a full house of over 30 tables, the staff remained attentive, friendly, and clearly dedicated to providing a great experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to return for a second visit, but we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Reservations preferred.

We didn't have reserves but they weren't busy yet so they sat us. Good service except we felt rushed the whole time. The wine choice was very nice and my meal was excellent. However my wife's fish meal was to have hazelnut and my wife thought they must be in the sauce until the table next to us ordered the same meal and noticed the hazelnuts sprinkled on the dish.

We had a wonderful experience at Sal8, thanks especially to Junes. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional he really made our visit special. The rest of the staff were also very welcoming and made us feel right at home. At first, I found my pasta a bit too salty, but they handled it immediately and brought me a different one without any fuss. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. In the end, the food was delicious, and for dessert we had the tiramisu absolutely amazing! A must-try. We traveled through the south of Sicily and ate at many places, but nowhere else did we experience service as good as this. The staff really paid attention and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend Sal8 to anyone.

I made reservations for my husband and I to eat here months in advance, since I knew when we'd be traveling in Sicily and visiting Agrigento. One of our tour guides saw Sal8 bookmarked on my Google map when he was making other recommendations for us and he said "oh, that's a good place!" I would say our meals were overall decent. My appetizer was phenomenal, and the best part of the meal for me. (It was some sort of grilled vegetable dish). My ravioli were a bit bland... was not tasting any of the sage or brown butter coming through. The service and ambiance were lovely, and we were not disappointed that we made a visit.

Toured three cities over the course of a week ending our trip in Agrigento. Sal8 was easily the best meal we had in Sicily. The seasonal dishes and specials for the almond blossom season were incredible, including an almond crusted tuna and a shrimp pasta dish. The service was fantastic as well, treating us to Prosecco and some homemade Lemoncello to finish. The restaurant itself was nestled right off the main strip, and had a great ambiance and art.

This is a great restaurant. My wife and I had a reservation and were seated promptly in a beautiful room upstairs. We were presented with glasses of sparkling wine while reviewing the menus. Our servers were all very skilled. The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful way.

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Agrigento. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I cannot wait to be back!

I was utterly stunned by how divine everything tasted at Sal8. Every single thing I put in my mouth was delicious. It is an extremely vegetarian (and vegan) friendly restaurant with a whole section of veggie dishes on the menu. The service was impeccable, and the decor was lovely and comfortable (although very aqua in colour and on the slightly quirky side). I heartily recommend Sal8!

This is an amazing restaurant in old town Agrigento. I enjoyed both a lunch service and a dinner service during my stay in Sicily. Highly recommended!! The fish dishes were amazing and the pasta is divine. Try the rustic Caponata you won't regret it.
