We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine and served homemade bread to start. We ordered the beef tartare, ravioli, linguine with red prawn and desserts. The beef tartare was incredibly fresh and both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. The linguine was the highlight! the best pasta we’ve ever had! The red prawn and pistachio sauce was rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. A solid 10/10. For dessert, we enjoyed the Tiramisu and Millefoglie, both of which were the perfect way to end our meal. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and truly satisfying. Although the service was a bit slow due to a small team managing a full house of over 30 tables, the staff remained attentive, friendly, and clearly dedicated to providing a great experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to return for a second visit, but we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Reservations preferred.

We had a wonderful experience at Sal8, thanks especially to Junes. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional he really made our visit special. The rest of the staff were also very welcoming and made us feel right at home. At first, I found my pasta a bit too salty, but they handled it immediately and brought me a different one without any fuss. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. In the end, the food was delicious, and for dessert we had the tiramisu absolutely amazing! A must-try. We traveled through the south of Sicily and ate at many places, but nowhere else did we experience service as good as this. The staff really paid attention and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend Sal8 to anyone.

One of the best restaurants we've tried in Sicily! The food was super fresh and everything was cooked just right. The timing between dishes was perfect, so we could really enjoy the whole meal. Even though we stayed past their closing time, we never felt rushed at all. Great food, great wine, great service — highly recommended!

This is the the best dinner we’ve had in Italy. The service is exceptional and the food delicious. If we had another night in Agrigento we’d definitely return. For vegans there are great options, ask and the staff will tell you which pasta and starters can be made vegan.

We decided to try this place based on its high Google Maps reviews—and it delivered! The pork belly was a standout, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and also the tiramisu. The only miss was the tuna starter—the cut of fish wasn’t the best, and the mayonnaise pairing felt off. But overall, a fantastic experience that justifies the hype! Would highly recommend.

We came here twice. Once for lunch and dinner. We were blown away by the pastas - linguine with prawns, pistachio with almond pasta, ravioli with ricotta - these were fantastic!!! The sea bass with hazelnut cream was cooked to perfection. Soft and juicy meat. Sword fish - left us disappointed - not sure if it’s supposed to be dry (there were no sides that would allow it to become juicier) wasn’t to our taste. Served coated in pistachio with a lemon wedge. Roasted potatoes - with onions - amazing! Desserts - tiramisu and brownie based one also left us disappointed - they were both missing the ‘oomph’. Brownie was not rich enough. Orange juice - for lunch I got double quantity then I did for dinner for the same price? Not sure why - no consistency in that area - both cost me 5 euros. Felt a bit cheated for the dinner service. Staff were attentive. I would recommend reservation for the dinner service and definitely to try the pasta dishes!

During our visit to Agrigento, we stopped by this restaurant and were definitely not disappointed. We were first welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was a great way to begin the meal. Our waiter was extremely professional, well-educated, and friendly. He was also fluent in at least four languages, which made the experience feel even more personalized. As for the food, it was delicious and full of authentic Sicilian flavors. We started with the Caponata Siciliana di Melanzane, which had a great balance of sweet and slightly sharp flavors, and the Mortadella Girgentana, which was creamy and absolutely delicious. For the main dishes, the Caserecce al Pesto di Pistacchio di Raffadali was flavorful, with a rich pistachio pesto, and the Pancetta di Maialino C.B.T al Vino Rosso was tender, with almonds and cherry tomatoes that elevated the dish. For dessert, we had a crispy Millefoglie with crème pâtissière and fresh strawberries, along with a Semifreddo alle Mandorle that was perfectly creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. If you are in Agrigento and looking for a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal after visiting the Valley of the Temples, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

I made reservations for my husband and I to eat here months in advance, since I knew when we'd be traveling in Sicily and visiting Agrigento. One of our tour guides saw Sal8 bookmarked on my Google map when he was making other recommendations for us and he said "oh, that's a good place!" I would say our meals were overall decent. My appetizer was phenomenal, and the best part of the meal for me. (It was some sort of grilled vegetable dish). My ravioli were a bit bland... was not tasting any of the sage or brown butter coming through. The service and ambiance were lovely, and we were not disappointed that we made a visit.

Toured three cities over the course of a week ending our trip in Agrigento. Sal8 was easily the best meal we had in Sicily. The seasonal dishes and specials for the almond blossom season were incredible, including an almond crusted tuna and a shrimp pasta dish. The service was fantastic as well, treating us to Prosecco and some homemade Lemoncello to finish. The restaurant itself was nestled right off the main strip, and had a great ambiance and art.

This is a great restaurant. My wife and I had a reservation and were seated promptly in a beautiful room upstairs. We were presented with glasses of sparkling wine while reviewing the menus. Our servers were all very skilled. The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful way.

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Agrigento. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I cannot wait to be back!

I was utterly stunned by how divine everything tasted at Sal8. Every single thing I put in my mouth was delicious. It is an extremely vegetarian (and vegan) friendly restaurant with a whole section of veggie dishes on the menu. The service was impeccable, and the decor was lovely and comfortable (although very aqua in colour and on the slightly quirky side). I heartily recommend Sal8!

This is an amazing restaurant in old town Agrigento. I enjoyed both a lunch service and a dinner service during my stay in Sicily. Highly recommended!! The fish dishes were amazing and the pasta is divine. Try the rustic Caponata you won't regret it.
