I absolutely loved SALA Phuket! I had the pleasure of staying at Sala Phuket with my partner, and the experience was incredible from beginning to end. The staff is lovely, very attentive, and always available, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offers fantastic on-site activities: yoga, paddleboarding, boxing, and more. There's also a sauna and a very well-equipped gym, which is a real bonus. The beach is magnificent, very calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and truly disconnecting. Special mention goes to the food: the breakfast buffet is exceptional, very varied and of high quality, and the dishes served at dinner were just as delicious. An unforgettable experience; I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing, upscale, and rejuvenating stay in Phuket 🌴✨ Encore merci beaucoup 🙏🏻

I’m having to be a little harsh with my 4 out of 5 but that is because there have been some things this hotel let us down on. In the main it’s a good resort, well kept and with comfy rooms with all my ‘must have’ boxes ticked - such as ‘proper’ normal hangers in the hanging space, a free in-room safe, lots of water, great shower and very comfy bed with delightful bed sheets. The downside is that there is no real life or choice of alternatives nearby (there is a cluster of shops but they know the hotels are 5 star and charge accordingly) so you are stuck with high priced drinks. The buffet on our first night half board was cold and we didn’t particularly like the choice, so that was a bad start (thankfully just once a week) On departure we requested help with the cases and this didn’t turn up as requested meaning I hauled all the cases down a huge staircase only for them to turn up 10 minutes after we’d stated. Also the service in the restaurant is sooooo slow. Too slow. The view from any room is not great, in fact the ‘private’ open bathroom is not private at all unless you pull curtains which defeats the point? Also the doors to the balcony are difficult to operate and make noise in the night. The positives were the bringing of jugs of water at poolside, replenished during the day, also the dinner food (à la carte) was gorgeous and with huge portions. The breakfast is also incredible with a mix of buffet and à la carte. Entertainment was also good on a couple of nights - a DJ and a live musician. Some hotel ‘features’ like choosing your scent for toiletries and choosing pillows was a bit unnecessary but still nice. We only stayed 3 nights and the hotel was growing on us, but the suitcase nightmare when we left spoilt it - they were not busy. Same when we arrived, cases took ages and when you arrive you just want to get unpacked. Go quicker!!!!

The service is excellent. All the staff are so friendly and nice. We got a free complementary dinner which is a nice surprise. It was yummy too. The breakfast however wasn’t as good, not many selections. But that was the only small thing and can be ignored. Massage was great. It rained the whole time when we stayed there but it turned out to be very enjoyable as it’s just so comfy to stay in the room and listen to the rain. On our departure date, the staff were very accommodating by allowing us to use the gym shower after we checked out and brought me a toothbrush since I lost mine…

5/5 – A Beautiful Stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao Our stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao was truly memorable. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect mix of luxury, calmness, and nature. There’s also a small village nearby where you can do all your basic and essential shopping, which was very convenient during our stay. We also recommend exploring nearby experiences like Fantasy Island, Turtle Island, and enjoying the buffet and shows—they were definitely worth it! A special mention to the supervisor at the buffet area and the entire team working there. Every team member we encountered was extremely nice, friendly, and welcoming. No matter what time of day or night we walked in or out of the hotel, the reception staff always greeted us warmly, which truly made us feel looked after. Housekeeping was also excellent—the lady who cleaned our room was so kind and did a wonderful job every day. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s a beautiful resort with an equally beautiful team. Their customer service is exceptional, and they really know how to make guests feel special. We would definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

Sala beach resort, Phuket is a top quality hotel within fifty strides of the beach and the beautiful Andaman Sea. The resort is well appointed with a spa, swimming pools and poolside café for cocktails and nibbles. The rooms are large and comfy with top quality A/C. The large double bed provided a wonderful sleep. The Thai staff are typical in terms of their pleasantness and helpful natures. When one of our party fell ill with a bacterial cold (brought with us from the UK) Gift, one of the hotel reception staff, went the extra mile to help us access medical care at a local clinic. The drivers who took us to local restaurants and the airport were kind and friendly and Karn, who returned us to Phuket International Airport was as friendly and helpful as all his colleagues. The only slight improvement that I can offer is that the decking by the pool and restaurant have small steps that are easy to miss as the decking is the same colour and I saw several people stumble as they didn't see the step. Perhaps white markings would alleviate the risk of older people in particular tripping on the small step down. The restaurant itself was superb and the English Executive Chef came through the diners on a regular basis checking on the food quality and chatting with the patrons. He was a really nice guy who has lived in Thailand for eighteen years. The only downside was he was a Man City fan - you can't have everything! Nevertheless we had a wonderful holiday in Phuket and I would highly recommend the Sala Beach Resort.

We love our private villa so much, service is spotless, healing massage by khun Sara is superb. We took part in a few activities: sandy workout & farm tour by coach khun Man, dip&sip & floating breakfast in room dining, took resort bicycles to tour around nearby lake. many more activities we didn't have enough time. Great gym & nice pool. Beach is clean.

An amazing stay in a beautiful paradise! The rooms are immaculate and the staff couldn’t do more to help. A special mention for the food which surpassed expectations- thanks to Tony the executive chef who made us and our baby feel like VIPs! The location of Mai Khao is unspoilt and so convenient for the airport. The perfect place if you want total relaxation.

A beautiful oasis of calm on the beach of Mai Khao. Individual chalets with own pool, outside lounge and outdoor bathroom experience. Quiet, and private with all the luxuries one needs! Tony converses with all the guests and manages a super restaurant, kindly catering for all requests. Beach front resort with pool, loungers and an array of extras. A super kind team and a memorable place to want to return to. 🙏🏻
