SALA Samui Choengmon Beach Resort

From the moment we arrived at Sala Choengmon Beach, we were completely captivated by its stunning beauty. The resort is a paradise, and the staff are kind, attentive, and go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable.We stayed in the garden pool villa for four nights and loved every moment. The hotel’s amenities were excellent—everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast, while the pool bar made happy hour a real treat. The laundry service was exceptional, leaving our clothes smelling absolutely divine.To end our trip on the ultimate high, we enjoyed the “Sweet Escape” couples massage package, and a huge thank-you to Mew and Pear for making it such a stunning experience. Their skill and care left us completely blissed-out!This part of Koh Samui is quieter, offering a peaceful retreat, but getting around was effortless thanks to the scooter hire shop conveniently located next to the resort’s entry. Their friendly service made exploring the island a breeze.We’re incredibly thankful for an amazing stay and will remember Sala Choengmon Beach for many years to come. It’s an experience we would happily return to again and again!

I've recently stayed in this beautiful resort with my friends and our experience during the entire stay was just superb. I worked in luxury hotels in London for over 15 years and so I'm very particular with a service I receive as I understand its importance from the hotel guest but also from the employee point of view. |I must say, that all staff members were wonderful, warm, welcoming and super friendly! The resort itself is rated by me as 10 out of 10 - located in a lovely peaceful area and personally, I loved both pools and cocktails that are refreshing in such a hot weather. The restaurant serves delicious meals throughout the whole day and resort is perfect for people looking for a tranquil environment. Hope to be back one day.

A nice and cozy hotel with a luxury boutique vibe. Even when it’s fully booked, it feels like there’s almost no one else around. The staff are super friendly, warm, and genuinely care about your experience. The manager, Wee, was especially kind, we’re really grateful for his attention and help.||The hotel offers complimentary treats every day, and we even received honeymoon gifts. Every night the staff come in to set up anti-mosquito appliances. You can also use the hotel’s paddleboards and kayaks,- lots of personal touches from the team.||The beach furniture is excellent, a variety of sunbeds, big pillows, all very comfortable. However, the beach entry near the hotel isn’t great, lots of rocks and reefs make it almost impossible to walk into the sea. You’ll need to walk 50–100 meters to the next hotel for a proper sandy entrance, but that’s ok.||Breakfast, however, was very disappointing. The buffet had limited options, and empty dishes were often left unrefilled. You can order from a menu, but you’re limited to one dish per person, which might have been ok if the portions weren’t so small (and also getting smaller every day! I even have photos of the same bowl shrinking day by day :(( ). It’s hard to see how an adult can get enough food from this breakfast.||There aren’t many shops, fruit stands, or restaurants nearby. You’ll need to take a taxi (15–20 minutes) to Fisherman’s Village, which is a busier area.||If you’re looking for a luxurious, almost private escape, plan to stay for up to a week and don’t mind the food situation - this could be a perfect choice

We had a wonderful week stay at SALA Samui Choengmon. Part of the package included a 90min couples massage and it was probably one of the best I've had. Both masseuse were really experienced and understood to massage where the body needed it. The accommodation and the grounds itself is pristine. Comfortable and clean throughout. Service at most of these resorts is almost always exceptional but I would have say to difference with SALA Samui Choengmon, is the service is authentic and genuine. A big shout out to Mam who took note that my partner was feeling unwell and turned up the next morning with some Thai remedies. Food and drink is also exceptional. We had breakfast daily and even after a weeks stay, there was still so many different options. My only feedback would be to make the Thai dishes more authentic. I feel like most travelers now desire local food as it should be.

A beautiful serene resort right on the beach. Outstanding service provided by all the staff. Very nice pool villas and good facilities. This resort is one our favourite places to stay in the world. Some restaurants are available out on the street and massages on the beach are great. We have already booked our next holiday at Sala Samui. Highly recommend.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at SALA Choengmon Beach. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. What stood out most was how wonderfully they treated our four-year-old son. They really made his time here magical and memorable. A special thank you to Wee and Oom, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness and care were truly exceptional. Because of them, and the overall experience, we’re already exploring options to return. Highly recommended!
