Fatima Farheen Mirza Has the Book for Your Spain Road Trip

"My family are practicing Muslims, and there is a halal Thai restaurant called Sala Thai 2 that has been my favorite for years. We've been going since I was in high school and I love the people who work there: They’ve celebrated my 16th birthday with me, and my high school graduation. You have to order the satay chicken—the peanut sauce is exceptional—and the mango with sticky rice. I remember the first time I ever tried mango with sticky rice. It tasted so good that I could not stop laughing. It was embarrassing."

Pretty delicious Thai food!!! However, their service (i.e., servers’ attitude) is not that friendly!!! (Maybe because it is packed during dinner time?!!!) And their air circulation system is not that good so after dining here, your hair and clothes will have a strong smell!!! Nevertheless, their food is very yummy! If you have no clue what to order, just order those with *** (Sala Thai’s favorites)! Highly recommended their Crab fried rice Crispy fish with garlic sauce Tom Kha (coconut soup) with seafood

Post covid update: no sit down dining but they’ve been making just as good halal Thai food. My favourite is the drunken noodles, crispy garlic fish and their yellow curries!

Great way to start your lunch when you have a pretty cute waitress taking your orders. Great service, great food. After we ordered, the food arrived within minutes. We had the tom yum seafood soup and basil chicken. The place is packed during meal times. Never ending crowd.

As per me the food wasn't worth it. I've been to other Thai restaurants they have amazing taste in this price. The food was average. Service is good. Staff is friendly. Fine ambience. I ordered Pad Thai and Pad Keep Mao.

Tasty and Halaal restaurant. Some what authentic thai taste but as said its yummy. Decent parking spot but get quite difficult during busy hour. All staff seems friendly so no differing here. Decent interiors n okay seats and chairs for comfort. 4 starts for taste and variety. Please explore urself 🙏

I ordered some rice and thai noodles for lunch. The place is small and is with torn seats. We ordered vegetarian and the waiter said it would Come with tofu. Tofu was missing in the rice we ordered. Average price was around 12 usd.

STAY AWAY ... The food is bland at best and was not served hot. This place has flies and mosquitos flying around your food. Unless you want keep squatting flies around your food, there are far better thai places around fremont.
