One of the best Indian food in Budapest . We had dinner at this place we ordered appetizers and then four main dishes with different kinds of rice and all of them were amazing and had good taste. If you try it once you will try it again.

Service is at par. The place is serene and perfect for a fine dining experience but the food is not authentic. Tomato soup was good, mochito was good too, but pulao, which was the main Indian dish I ordered, were just hard zeera rice. I couldn’t finish the small bowl of rice they served. And my stomach is still aching.

Just had one of the best authentic Indian dinners at Salaam Bombay! We have travelled to Budapest 3 times now and this is by far one of our favourite dinners we have had in the entire city. The host was wonderful and gave us great menu recommendations. We make a point to eat Indian food where ever we travel and this could very well be the best Indian restaurant we have been to. Travelled to over 60+ countries. We made sure to make another reservation for the following night. A perfect Indian cuisine experience with exception service.

The best indian food in Budapest. Amazing quality especially considering how affordable the prices were. Service was nice and everyone was very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing dining experience here with my friends. The ambience of this place is very welcoming and the best part is that it’s very close to the parliament building. The food tastes delightful and is full of flavors. I think it’s a good value for money and even the portion size is adept. Friendly staff and you can even take away is possible.

Excellent, authentic Indian food in Budapest. Everywhere I travel I search out a recommended Indian restaurant and this one did not disappoint. Attentive and friendly service coupled with delicious food made for a great experience! Will be returning.

Salaam bombay is a nice restaurant. Good food. Nice staff. One of the best food, Veg items are super. You can get drinks too. To the restaurant you cannot go by bus. If you are going by bus, you need to park bus little far. From outside it looks very calm area. As usual, unless you reach a Hotel, you will not be able to recognise it. Use google map.

I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for good taste, quick service and perfect ambience. Their browny sizzler was the best. The place is very much near the Hungarian parliament.
