Salad House Ridgewood

I forgot to take a photo of my salad when it first came in because I was so hungry. But the salad was DELICIOUS. The ingredients are so fresh. I got a set salad (did not customize) and the flavor was excellent. I loved all the sauce/dressing options and that the salads are customizable too if you want. I highly recommend! My brother passed by and complimented how delicious my salad looked!

Crispy shrimp is my fav. Grain bowls are delicious! I loved the freshly made meals served here. Staff always welcoming and courteous

Stumbled upon Salad House in Ridgewood while walking in the area and I don't regret it one bit! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the service was great! I had the teriyaki grain bowl with shrimp, it was fantastic! The owner Jack and staff make this a place you will want to frequent often. Check out the pastry shop next door at Mulberry & Owl as well, same owner and great vibe. I'll be back!

My bowl was fantastic. I ordered brown rice, balsamic breaded chicken, red onion, broccoli, butternut squash, spinach, carrot with avocado zest dressing 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥

I got the OH MY GOURD and added a few extras with green goddess dressing. Really good. The cauliflower bites w/sweet chili was surprisingly really good. My girlfriend said the pumpkin bisque was a little too watery.

This is my favorite place to get salads for the following reasons. First, because all the ingredients in salad house are fresh and the salads taste delicious. Second, because the portions are very good. Every time I go to salad house I leave with happy and very full. And lost but not least, the place is very nice and the people are very polite.

I have never visited in-person but have ordered through various delivery apps. This location's food tastes better than the Hackensack and especially Englewood locations, and a bit better than Rutherford, but portions seem a bit smaller. Also am disappointed as they've canceled my entire scheduled orders at times when I guess some ingredient is out of stock, without providing any explanation so that I've had to contact the delivery apps to figure out what's going on, and I've lost uber promotions a few times because of this. (even after writing this review they canceled another order, never responded to my inquiry as to why - so removing another star for lack of service/response).

10/10….The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They have so many yummy toppings, add on’s and proteins including tuna, salmon and shrimp. They don’t limit you to just chicken or beef. The sandwich was very flavorful, delicious and filling. The prices are reasonable. I am excited to explore the other items on their menu and to create different salad options.

Delicious food reasonably priced. This is a once a week order for me and my coworkers!

I was too hungry I forgot to get a photo of the food (doh). The place is bright, well lit, very clean and you're welcomed by a couple of friendly faces. My partner and I shared a Cesar salad and a chicken wrap. Both were large sized and had great ratios of protein/vegetable. I enjoyed my experience and will return but if you're a value for cost type of person, I found it to be on the pricier side for fast casual - I guess because it leans healthy?

Bug in my salad. No response back from owners in almost a week. Did go back to store and was given refund and owners info.

Stopped by Salad House for lunch with a coworker today and although it was difficult to find a parking spot in Ridgewood this place is well worth it. The service is friendly and efficient. I opted to order at the tablet which is card only transactions. I ordered the Apple Waldo salad and removed the chicken and blue cheese and opted for fresh mozzarella. All of the ingredients were fresh, well chopped, and huge! I was impressed how large the salads were and I was able to eat almost the entire thing. The inside of this spot is very well light, tidy, and clean feeling. They have salads, wraps, and plenty of try and are very reasonably priced for a salad spot located in Ridgewood.

Food was decent and the buffalo jack spicy so prepare, but love it. Service is ok and server was a bit low speaking. Ambiance was chill and relaxing. I would definitely go here again and again!

When I order lunch here, I know it's gonna be a great meal! Always met with a smile at the counter and the food is delicioussss! Love the Chicken Caesar wrap and the Chipotle Chicken wrap! And the chicken pastina soups is divine! Love to eat here 11/10.

It was my first official time trying Salad House and it was really good. I made my own salad bowl. I thought I had written down salad dressing on the side (online). Plus, I got hummus. I picked up my order and checked the bag and I didn't see any salad dressing. I actually decided to double check to see if it was vegan and gluten free. There was a man there who could have been the manager. He told me he wanted to double check if it was written to give me salad dressing because he didn't want an error on their side. I thought this was really good he did this! Then, he checked and the dressings weren't vegan and gluten free except for a few. He went a step above and went through every dressing with me and told me exactly which ones I could order next time. I decided to get double hummus instead of a dressing because I usually love hummus. The salad was good and filling and the hummus was really tasty! I was pleased with my choice. This location isn't in my area but they are opening a location near me and I can't wait until it opens!

I really want this place to do well and be successful, but that can't be possible if they can't get an itemized salad right as a place who makes "customized salads". I have been the product of multiple inaccurate salads coming out of Salad House. I gave a few chances without calling or reviewing, but on the 3rd inaccurate order with no tomatoes on the salad that I paid extra for, I made the call and spoke with a manager. It was now the principal that I was paying for something that I was not getting (on multiple occasions). I mean, if my salad was wrong THREE TIMES, there must be plenty others who's lunches and dinners are wrong. When I spoke with the manager he was extremely understanding and ensured me this wouldn't happen again. I was not looking to be credited, but he did the right thing by crediting me for my $17 salad +tip that I left for his workers. Now here we have it, 2 weeks later, giving salad house another try and no avocados that I am paying a premium for. Not to mention literally 4 minuscule tomatoes and I kid you not, 6 chickpeas. It looked like a large bed of dark greens vs the colorful salads they once prepared. It really amazes me how a place that specializes in salads just can't get it right and even charges a .99 cent service fee for a service that's not even done right. Aren't these employees trained to double check their work if they are going to be adding on a service fee for us customers to absorb?!? (check the bottom of your receipts it's in there which is ridiculous). I gave 3 stars because when actually done right, with an adequate amount of toppings, the salad is just what I'm looking for. Other than that, with the high price they charge for a customized salad, this place has failed more times then it has succeeded preparing & making a salad!

The salad house offers a variety of seafood dishes and salads of all kinds. Service was great. We popped in to see the specials for the day. My daughter love shrimp, crabs and muscles. All seafood dishes I cannot have. The place was nice with a cool atmosphere. We will definitely check it out again.

Ordered from DoorDash: Build your own salad with mixed greens, quinoa, black beans, corn, cucumber, sunflower seeds, salmon, butternut squash. Loved everything but the salmon which was fresh but very well done so not as moist as I would have liked. Would order this again and not add protein because it was too much food anyway. Will try a different dressing next time; Asian sesame ginger was ok but tasted mostly like vinegar.

Just had Black and Bleu Salad with Cauliflower Bites. It was prepared quickly. The food was delicious and fresh.

If you're a fan of a well chopped salad with fresh ingredients, great dressing and a full bowl of- then this is the place for you! I never tire of their salads and I find everyone who works here to be super helpful in creating the salad that you want! The location is always clean with plenty of seating, so it's as easy to eat in as it is to takeout

This review is based off of two take out orders. Both times I had missing ingredients and sauces. I really had high hopes, but now twice I have revived messed up orders. Also, $6 add on for grilled shrimp and only for four of them??? It would have been ok to deal with if I was missing salad dressing...

So I walked in ordered a salad and asked for avocado I knew it was extra so whatever the salad was $20 that's just crazy the chickpeas were so dried out. They forgot my avocado and charged me for it and it had more rice than salad so I'm gonna so no ‍I won't be returning

Just ordered a take out salad called " Oh My Gourd!". It is SO GOOD. Get it. Other details- order was ready on time, staff was very nice, cute little spot. Vegetarian friendly!!

I ordered a salad. First, the salad itself was delicious, but way overloaded with quinoa and not a lot of vegetables. I would have like to had more vegetables and less quinoa. This is the only reason why I gave a 2 star rating. For the money paid for the salad, it wasn't what I expected.

This place is awesome. The salads and chicken are so good. The apple cider vinaigrette is so delicious.

I ordered a salad on DoorDash and paid $30... for what amounted to a palm full of food. Absolutely shameful. Their tzatziki dressing is also clearly made with mayonnaise, not yogurt. Disgusting.

Overall not bad. Would order again Got the crispy shrimp on focaccia. Really good Taste 5/5 Portion size 5/5 Fit and fueled. It was ok. Only thing I have against it was the amount of quinoa . Quinoa seemed like it was an after thought. Would have been better if there was more quinoa. Taste 3/5 Portion size 3/5

Have been waiting so long for this place to open. Have ordered 3 times in the past week. We used to do chopt twice or so a month but this place is so much better and thankfully it's closer. So glad it's open and hopefully here to stay!

Was looking for something healthy near my job and found this place. A little pricey but so yummy and filling. Me and Chipotle officially broke up

I recently gave salad house a try. First let me say it is a chopped salad. I did not know that when I ordered & I am not a fan. That being said, you get more greens than anything else. I also added steak to my salad. The steak was chewy and not worth the extra money. It is expensive too. If you want a good salad go to Panera Bread.

We love this place. High quality ingredients and generous portions. The food tastes especially fresh and is quite tasty as well. Also reasonably priced. We had been looking for a place with good, lighter options and now frequent Salad House for sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. Highly recommend!!

I would love to rate this place based on their food because I've seen my coworkers order this at work, however, i spent about 43 minutes just waiting on the email i HAVE to verify just to order food. Makes it super inconvenient. Needless to say, i ordered from somewhere else because the email never came through

Over priced for a salad! Nothing special and the wait is horrible! For $20.00 a salad! Go to a restaurant and order a great salad for less!

The food here is fresh, yummy, and affordable. We've ordered a lot of different items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Excited there is a fast, healthy option in Ridgewood now!

Salad house is a great new addition to Ridgewood . The buffalo chicken wrap was outstanding and my mom fiesta chicken salad which she said was amazing . I will be back this week to try more items off the menu .

We tried this place just because it was something new. Now we are addicted! The salads are so fresh and delicious. I want to try them all.

My daughter kept telling me how great the salads were from here. Today I decided to give it a try. Wow, one of the best salad I have had. Everything was fresh and the portion was so big I had it for lunch and dinner. The creamy balsamic dressing was delicious. Will definitely make this location a regular go to place.
