Salalah Rotana Resort

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team of Salalah Rotana Resort. We traveled with a Hungarian travel agency, IBUSZ, in October 2025, and from the very first moment, our experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with music and singing, which immediately made us feel special. The whole staff was extremely precise, attentive, and genuinely caring — they anticipated our every need. At the reception, we encountered a perfectly organized and professional team. I would especially like to highlight Mohammed, who was incredibly friendly and even made an effort to communicate with us in Hungarian, and Ilina, who immediately helped us with all our questions. In the restaurants, every single staff member was hardworking, fast, and showed outstanding guest-oriented service. At the bar, Abdur truly deserves special recognition — he surpasses every hospitality professional I have ever met. I am also very grateful to the kitchen staff for their exceptional attention and support regarding my food allergies; they always went out of their way to make dining easy and safe for me. In my eyes, the staff truly deserves 5 stars or even more. The resort fully lives up to its five-star rating, both in terms of services and the immaculate condition of the buildings. The golf cart transportation between the buildings is a great convenience, and it is wonderful to have the opportunity to try buffet dinners and à la carte menus in several restaurants. For me, Rotana was the perfect choice — close to the beach and the bars. The Saffron Restaurant offered an excellent and varied selection. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely return next year.

I stayed at the resort in November 2025 and had an amazing experience. I booked with Fanar Hotel & Residences originally but apparently there was some issue with my room. I’ve been offered a room at the Rotana instead. So what started as a rocky vacation for me ended up being a dream at the Rotana! As a solo female traveler I felt very well taken care of from the moment I arrived til the moment I left. All the staff from the reception to the restaurants to the spa have been very friendly and helpful. The room was bright, friendly and comfortable, offering everything you’d need. The hotel grounds were well kept and inviting. The beach was clean and lifeguards were there for your safety. If you have booked all inclusive you can get something delicious to eat all day long. I also like the fact that they use paper cups/plates instead of plastic. The only thing that might be missing are some benches on the property to enjoy the outdoors when you are not lounging on the beach! Oh and on top of all of that: I felt completely safe in everything I did while I was there!

Salalah Rotana is a truly exceptional hotel that combines oriental elegance with modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully lit, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the balcony offers a lovely view that adds to the sense of tranquility. The hotel is very well connected to a clean, sandy beach, making it easy to enjoy the sea at any time of day. The main bar, operating under the all-inclusive formula, serves absolutely delicious dishes with great variety and excellent quality. Guests can also enjoy a large swimming pool surrounded by stunning water canals and charming bridges, which give the resort a unique and picturesque character. A great advantage is the convenient melex (electric cart) transport between neighboring hotels of the same brand, as well as free access to the aqua park included in the price. This makes the hotel a fantastic base for exploring the area while still offering plenty of attractions on-site. Above all, the service deserves special praise — the staff are professional, attentive, and provide care at the highest level. A truly wonderful place for a relaxing and memorable stay.

It was a wonderful stay at Salalah Rotana Resort. Even though our visit was short, it was truly memorable. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and very relaxing.|The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious.|What really made our stay special was the Club Rotana team. Their service was outstanding, always friendly, attentive, and professional. Special thanks to Ashraf, who took extra care of us and made us feel very welcome. His hospitality and professionalism truly stood out.|I would also like to thank Chef Ajay from the kitchen team, who was always attentive during every meal period. He regularly took feedback, asked about our favorite food, and ensured everything was perfect. The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of tasty dishes and high-quality service. The pools, beach access, and recreational facilities were fantastic and suitable for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. Everything was well organized and thoughtfully designed. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Rotana Hotel in Salalah, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was always perfectly clean, which we really appreciated. Due to the humid climate, we experienced some minor discomfort at the beginning, as the air conditioning does not have a dehumidifier function. However, the staff took our feedback very seriously and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable! Their responsiveness and care made a big difference and showed genuine professionalism. We chose the Premium package, which included also a personal butler, and we cannot thank Rula enough for her outstanding support. She was incredibly kind and helpful, gave us excellent program and activity recommendations, and made our stay even more special. We are truly grateful for her attention and care. The all-inclusive service was excellent. There was a wide and high-quality selection of food and drinks available throughout the entire day — we never felt hungry. The variety was impressive: multiple restaurants are available within the hotel, and guests can also dine at restaurants in neighboring Rotana hotels. This meant we could enjoy different cuisines every evening, without ever feeling repetitive. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single team member — from reception staff to restaurant and service teams, housekeeping, gardeners, and security — was exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their warmth created a truly special atmosphere. This is a place we will definitely return to, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Rotana Salalah to anyone looking for a high-quality, relaxing, and genuinely welcoming hotel experience.

Our stay here was our best vacation ever. We were treated like royalty by the staff. The food was wonderful and never boring, and one of the employees, Ashraf, was absolutely wonderful. He was always smiling and ready to help with anything. We will definitely be back because it was so wonderful. I recommend the Rotana hotel to everyone.

We loved the location at the beach, beach was clean and water was clear, towels were available, as well as beach beds and shade. We appreciated the showers at the beach and toilet. Atmoshere at the hotel was magical and all staff were friendly and attentive from reception to bellman and sh;utttle drivers. Hotel is very clean, very quiet. Great food!!!
