Salalah Rotana Resort

Very good hotel. The entire complex is quite large so you can expect more people. However, plenty of quality staff and services ensure that everything works as it should. During the entire 11 days we didn't encounter any problems. Clean everywhere. Good food. Lots of restaurants. Great and helpful people.

The service at Salalah Rotana Resort was exceptional and very professional. Waiters Suraj and Hnin took great care of us with a smile and were always willing to meet every request. Their approach was friendly, attentive, and natural, which greatly contributed to the pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The food and drinks were served quickly and with great attention to detail. We felt welcome and truly pampered during every visit to the restaurant. A big thank you to the entire team for their excellent service and warm hospitality.

From the moment we arrived |we were captivated by its beauty and tranquility,Rotana resort exceeded all expectations offering a perfect blend of comfort. The sea view and expansive pool created sincere thanks to Mohammed the protector and to the reception team for their hospitality.The cuisine was exquisite compliments to Chef Tayum and special appreciation to James, Abdelli for his Czech language skills and Khyri great service. A truly memorable and luxurious experience.

We stayed in Rotana Hotel for 3 nights. It was one of the best resorts we ever visited! The resort is huge and you can spend full day in the resort as it has everything you might be looking for. The staff (ALL OF THEM) are always smiling, trying to help, and very welcoming. The restaurant, Saffron, buffet was SUPER TASTY. The breakfast and dinner had a huge variety and the taste was incredibly amazing. Special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim for his help during our stay.

Absolutely an unpleasant experience. Currently staying here and their customer satisfaction has been really bad. We were not allotted the right room category upon check in and when pointed out, they made us take a tour of rooms that smelled of mould and moisture and in the unacceptable condition. We made multiple requests at reception but no plea heard. No manager has been ready to talk to us and they do not want to give us a decent room that does not smell that decent. Overcharged us at the restaurant and 1 day in and i wish i did not book a non refundable room category and could leave it tomorrow.

I stayed at Salalah Rotana Resort recently. The resort is big with lovely and spacious rooms, but the rooms were always wet. The staff said it was because of humidity, but even the bed was damp, which was really uncomfortable and honestly disgusting. The rooms also need better maintenance. Breakfast was extremely crowded every day, which made it frustrating. On the positive side, they gave us a three-day package at half price, which was nice. Dining was good – Zafran Restaurant was very nice. And a special mention to Anna, the hotel manager – she was amazing, professional, and very lovely to deal with. But the golf cart service was terrible. The resort is huge, and every time we requested a cart it was very slow. The worst was during checkout: I called for a cart to pick me up with my bags, and no one came. In the end, I had to walk with my luggage all the way to the reception – not extremely far, but definitely not near either – which left a bad impression. Overall, the resort has potential with its size and location, but the humidity in the rooms, crowded breakfast, and especially the poor golf cart service really need improvement

Unfortunately, the stay was not as comfortable as expected. While some aspects were good, there were several negative points that affected the overall experience: Negatives: • The attitude of the staff needs improvement, especially the front desk employee Amr (Egyptian nationality), whose behavior was unwelcoming and unacceptable. I sincerely hope the hotel management provides proper training to improve staff hospitality and customer service. • The gym staff also lacked a welcoming attitude. • The shower was very basic. • An unpleasant odor was coming from the bathroom. • The pillow was uncomfortable. • Construction drilling noise in the adjacent room disturbed us in the morning and interrupted our sleep. This maintenance work could have been scheduled at a different time or guests could have been moved to a quieter building. • Golf cart drivers were driving at high speed close to guests walking inside the resort, which created a feeling of insecurity and lack of care. Conclusion: Overall, the stay was not comfortable. Many of these issues could have been avoided if the hotel had paid more attention to service quality and guest comfort.

Excellent service, I was greeted at the front desk by Atif who provided exceptional explanations for the room location, amenities, and activities nearby. The room was also very neat and tidy, room service to clean was prompt, and the breakfast option was very good. Would highly recommend this resort for anyone staying in Salalah, one caveat is you should rent a car since it is kind of far away from the rest of Salalah.
