This is a great little supermarket with a good selection of groceries and wines, cheeses and deli items. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. Conveniently located in Salamanca Place this is a very handy little shop and highly recommended.

A unique little market, very handy if you're staying in the Salamanca area. They stock a good selection of fresh, local produce. Also have wines, artisan bread & local cheeses. Different to the average supermarket, with a staunch commitment to Tasmanian produce, plus a personalised touch

What a fantastic store, they really have the best of everything there. We couldn’t get out to the wicked cheese place but luckily for us they sell that cheese so we got to try the chili Camembert after all. Regretted not buying more chocolate at the Salamanca Market and again was able to get it there. Their fruit and vegetables are absolutely beautiful and the gourmet ranges of products is awesome.
Highly recommend this shop.

One day a few weeks ago I arrived home from Salamanca Fresh with a loaf of Summer Kitchen bread that had been baked two days before.
I called in the other day to find out their practices re holding bread over the day of baking and explained what happened to me. The staff member I spoke to was sorry to hear about my experience and explained that the two-day old bread should have been removed. They insisted I take a new loaf to compensate.
A very nice experience of good service and customer concern.

Sells lots of locally made Tasmanian produce and international brands. Deli section is clean and the meat, fish chicken olives etc and the fruit & vegetables —all look fresh! Open until 7.30pm very convenient location with paid parking area out front — fast friendly customer service.

The variety of the items was plenty and fun to do just for looking around. The local products were fully lined up, I personally bought non-alcoholic apple cider, Tasmanian-made, of course. The atmosphere is great and the location is very accessible.

Just heard from a friend that SF team members man handled a starving teenage girl for "stealing" food from the business. Maybe if your prices weren't so expensive and you kept your hands off of the poor and vulnerable I wouldn't have left a bad review, but alas, actions have consequences

Good range of Tasmanian snacks, honeys and stuff. The deli-made lasagna was absolutely disgusting. It was spicy and sour with strong wine flavor.
