Salamanca Fresh Battery Point

This is a great little supermarket with a good selection of groceries and wines, cheeses and deli items. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. Conveniently located in Salamanca Place this is a very handy little shop and highly recommended.

A unique little market, very handy if you're staying in the Salamanca area. They stock a good selection of fresh, local produce. Also have wines, artisan bread & local cheeses. Different to the average supermarket, with a staunch commitment to Tasmanian produce, plus a personalised touch

Absolutely loved this market, so fresh and lots of great healthy choices as well. I stopped in everyday to buy items to take back to my rental apartment that I had for a week in Hobart. Avocado and kiwi were great prices, as were many items. I enjoyed their deli section where you could make a meal for great price and loved their Greek salad - pretty much bought that daily along with snacks! It’s nice to have a local market with great selections so you don’t have to buy from the chain store!

What a fantastic store, they really have the best of everything there. We couldn’t get out to the wicked cheese place but luckily for us they sell that cheese so we got to try the chili Camembert after all. Regretted not buying more chocolate at the Salamanca Market and again was able to get it there. Their fruit and vegetables are absolutely beautiful and the gourmet ranges of products is awesome. Highly recommend this shop.

The food looks fresh and they have wide range of options

don’t normally leave reviews but the store was so neat and cute i met a lovely lady that served me i got her name it was lola, so polite and nice and another nice lady across from her i didn’t get her name but they both wished me a merry christmas! lovely shop.

Great selection of quality products, with very good price.

I purchased a crab patty and salad on Christmas Eve for my dinner that evening. Unfortunately, it resulted in severe food poisoning, which completely ruined my Christmas Day. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and the quality of the food.
