We stayed two nights at Salcheto Winehouse and it was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is a Tuscan dream—surrounded by vineyards, with stunning views of Montepulciano right from the window. The apartments are spacious, stylish, and sustainably designed, with hot tubs in the garden that make it easy to unwind with a view.
The on-site restaurant Indigeno is great, offering delicious, no-waste meals with local ingredients, and we were warmly looked after by Jessica, who made each visit special. Sofia gave us an insightful winery tour and tasting, sharing Salcheto’s philosophy and innovations in organic wine production, while Filippo helped us plan the perfect day exploring nearby towns. Umberto’s attention to detail at breakfast made mornings a joy.
Everything at Salcheto reflects a deep commitment to sustainability—from the wines to the food, even down to the staff uniforms. The combination of accommodation, winery, and restaurant in one spot means you can truly relax—or head out and explore the area, with Montepulciano just 10 minutes away. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
