"If messing about in boats interests you, then the activities on offer at the Trafford Water Sports Center will be worth the tram journey to Sale Water Park station. You can sign up for lessons for all kinds of watery shenanigans, including kayaking, sailing, and paddle boarding. They also run courses in archery and the tremendously dangerous sounding “rocket launching.” The trip out to Sale is also worth it for the woods and trails. If you get hungry for lunch, Jackson’s Boat is a good option, plus you can rent bikes from the Bike Barn next door." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Great walking area for all ages and abilities with good paths and no climbs. Some good paths to explore off the main routes that can get muddy but worth the effort if you have the right boots! Great for bird watching and other wildlife if you are prepared to tread lightly. A nice little cafe, The Treetops near Rifle road and if you want a pub meal then the Jackson's Boat Is the one to make for. Handy transport to with the Metro Station nearby!

Absolutely love thus place all year round but especially in summer where it's always good to have a paddle. There's supervised swimming 🏊‍♂️, canoeing, jet skiing 🎿 to name but a few. I just like to have a walk and reconnect with nature. Great place to walk your dog 🐕.

A beautiful place to visit especially on a sunny day. Lots of activities available and a lovely place for dog walking and a day out. Has everything needed for a great family activity day to a quiet lone walk with the dog. A lot is wheelchair accessible.

Lovely place to walk around at anytime of the day. But i do enjoy an evening walk 👌 The restaurant stays open quite late and offers take out option on their hot drinks, possibly others never tried. The restaurant staff are helpful and friendly too. There are a few different walks available, lots of great photo opportunities and also a wildlife hut half way if you need to take 5. Benches around the walk too. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Never tried the water activities but from what I have seen they appear to be good, folk sound happy enough when partaking. Great for dog walks too
