I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The location of this resort is stunning, but unfortunately the experience doesn’t match the setting. While the room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view, it quickly became clear that the resort is cutting corners everywhere — and guests are the ones paying the price.
There’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only at the pool or reception, and you have to collect new limited-data vouchers from reception every single day. The mini fridge switches off when you leave the room because the power is tied to the key — and since you only get one key, nothing stays cold while you’re out.
The cleanliness is below standard: we found baby cockroaches in the bathroom, and the taps were covered in lime build-up that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time.
I honestly don’t understand how this can be considered a 4-star resort. The TV in the room is ancient, with awful sound quality, and there’s an even older DVD player (because there’s no Wi-Fi in the room). When we tried to watch a DVD, the TV made a horrible noise — and there wasn’t even a remote for the DVD player.
Breakfast was another disappointment — poorly presented, very limited, and not even fresh fruit juice, which is shocking on an island. Lunch and Dinner are a rip-off: tiny portions at premium prices for meals that were mostly awful, except for one buffet we had one night that was pretty good. Their "Asian Night" buffet was an absolute joke, the food was pretty much inedible and we paid 65 WST each.
The whole place feels like it’s in the middle of a brutal cost-cutting exercise, and the guest experience has clearly suffered as a result. It’s a shame, because the setting and ocean access are absolutely beautiful — but everything else falls far short of what you’d expect from a 4-star resort.
