Salina Hotel

A comfortable hotel with modern, pleasant décor, located outside the center of Taranto. This is an advantage for those who want to visit the region without having to cross the city on the way there and back, especially as the road network makes it easy to explore Puglia and quickly reach the heart of Taranto. Closed and secure parking for guests' cars, with two gas stations within 150 meters. The hotel has several dining rooms. We only tried the one on the ground floor. Breakfast is served in this room, and there is an adjoining terrace where you can have lunch outside. Breakfast is a wonderful surprise, with everything you could want, both sweet and savory. The staff is very attentive and discreet, the food is impeccable, and the dishes are beautifully presented at a reasonable price. This hotel also offers a gym, a spa, and a rooftop pool with a bar. The room we booked was spacious, well-equipped, nicely decorated, and furnished in the style of the hotel. As for the bathroom, it was well-designed with a large walk-in shower and ideal lighting around the mirror for ladies to apply their makeup, which we appreciated. Towels and bath sheets are changed every day. The air conditioning is quiet and efficient. The minibar was a little underpowered, but that wasn't a problem for us. For those who love high-tech gadgets, it's worth noting that the television is built into the mirror opposite the bed, and you can use a smartphone app to watch videos, etc. During our stay, the staff were faultless, always quick to help, welcoming, and always pleasant. We were visiting this beautiful region of Italy as a couple and stayed at this hotel for 10 days, which we really enjoyed as it completely met our expectations.

This is a fabulous modern and extremely clean hotel, the house keepers are a credit to this hotel. The rooms are spacious with very cool modern touches like the light switches and the tv behind the mirror, the breakfast is much the same every day but the choice is large and very good quality so doesn't get monotonous. The food in the restaurant at lunch and in the evening is also good quality and changes daily. In the evening the food is served on the roof terrace restaurant under the night sky, the swimming pool and bar our both very good, during our stay was never too crowded and lovely views towards the sea and Taranto. The hotel is situated just outside of Taranto so I would highly recommend a car, Taranto centre is about 15 mins drive and the nearest beach is 7 mins away by car, but drive 1 hour away and you are spoilt for choice. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring this beautiful area of Italy. My congratulations to the manager and his staff for a great hotel|Thankyou

I really liked Salina Hotel in Taranto. It’s a beautiful, modern, and very clean hotel. The rooms are modern, well maintained, and quiet, perfect for a good rest. The staff at the reception are kind and helpful. The only small downside is the location, a bit outside the city center, so in the evening you need a car to go out and try local food. Overall, a great experience and a hotel I would recommend

Our stay at the hotel was truly outstanding. The location is stunning, but what really makes the difference is the remarkable service. Mimo went above and beyond to make our experience delightful—always attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. At the front desk, Andréa was fantastic, always helping us with every question we had and doing so with such great energy. The spa team was not only friendly and lovely but also delivered top-notch service. The massages and spa facilities were of exceptional quality. Without a doubt, this is a hotel we would wholeheartedly recommend.

We had an exceptional experience; the hotel has a beautiful location and, above all, the service is exemplary. Mimo made our stay a pleasure—he was extremely helpful, nice and altruistic with us. Andréa at the reception also helped us resolve all our questions with super good vibes always , and the girls at the spa, besides being super friendly and cute, provided excellent service. The quality of the massages and the spa is outstanding. Honestly, this hotel is highly recommended.

Excellent overall. If you want a more quiet stay try to get a room on the first floor because of loud parties on the roof top area. Service was amazing from all staff. The breakfast was the highlight of my trip.

The hotel is newer and in excellent shape plus it’s meticulously clean. The staff, especially Cosimo and Marinella are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are multilingual which helps immensely if you are a tourist and don’t know Italian. There is a great spa downstairs where Mery gives an absolutely fantastic massage. My only critique is that even as a guest you have to pay 40 euro just to use the sauna and steam room area. That being said, I would highly recommend this hotel.
