Very tasty Icelandic food in the center of Reykjavík. We had the fish stew and the arctic char, which were both delicious and filling. The sweet bread which comes with the fish stew was a nice addition to the dish, and the sauce of the arctic char was really good.

This restaurant is super amazing with taste, service and its price. It is more affordable than others (I walked 4-5 restaurants to see their menu) with a high rating on Google. I ordered fish stew (plokkfiskur) for 4,300isk since it has a really high reputation and it was so good. The sauce in orange was really tasty, and the cod with smashed potatoes is fantastic. As an Asian I expect it has more rice, but it is actually make me very full with other carbohydrates (given that I have a bigger appetite than normal people😆). The bread is out of my expectation as well, never taste a bread like this. I wish to come back and try the lamb or catch of the day which both I wanna try but eating alone can't order too much. Also really appreciate the staff who work yesterday (5 June) they are really helpful and nice to me and other guests. Being sensitive to their needs and very kindly help with water spilling incident caused by other guest. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice ambience, busy little restaurant. The steamed fish was excellent, the pizza was tasty but too oily. Food was prepared fast. Service is okay. Expensive, but this is the norm in this area.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was very prompt, and accurate. The workers were all very nice. Outdoor dining was great as well.

It was a wonderful decision to try this cozy little place for dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have zero regrets on trying their lamb shank. They had a lovely selection of beers as well. It was a busy Easter weekend, and I had no problem getting a table without a reservation.

My go-to spot in the heart of the city! I eat here regularly and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious — my favorite is the baked fish with sweet potatoes, salad, and a flavorful leek sauce. It’s a healthy, satisfying meal that’s full of taste. The outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a relaxed vibe.

We had lunch at this restaurant in Reykjavik because we wanted to have a taste of the local food. Here we got to do that at the average price in Iceland, which is on the expensive side. Over all, not a bad place to eat.

Roast beef on sourdough is the best! Stop in for outdoor seating with some Icelandic beer on tap. With a great view of the church. A++
