This is the best, most beautiful and most atmospheric restaurant I have ever been to – and I could keep listing positive things. It was simply breathtaking. My family and I were traveling over the weekend and we stopped here to eat. It was the best decision we could have made, and I recommend it to everyone passing by. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. The atmosphere is incredible, the place is stunning – especially in the evening when it’s all lit up – and I’m sure it’s just as beautiful during the day with the lake. The food was plentiful, not overpriced, and unbelievably delicious and authentic. I honestly can’t even put into words how much I loved it. I can only recommend it. This restaurant truly feels like the king of restaurants. I absolutely loved it – thank you.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s such a lovely restaurant! We went there with my husband to celebrate his birthday and everything exceeded our expectations. The place itself is really pretty, great for casual dinner but also for a special occasion. The view at the lake is obviously a great bonus. :) the staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the waiter who was serving us - such a great and friendly guy! As for food - soooo delicious. We tried 2 dishes - Schweinebraten and some truffle pasta with mushroom and beef. Both dishes were very tasty and the portions were huge, especially in comparison to prices. All in all I highly recommend stopping by :)

Loved to come here no matter if it was for a coffee, a lunch or dinner. No matter if I was alone, with family or guests here I felt very welcomed. The service is great no matter what time of the day. The food is stunning and I loved to sit in the back corner, eat and drink my glass of wine and just watch the lake and scenery.

Lovely restaurant with delicious fine food and super friendly staff members. We were passing by the lake when returning from Salzburg to Switzerland and it was my mother’s birthday. It was the perfect choice to celebrate this special moment together.

The location is really nice, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food was just average, nothing special. The older waiter was quite aggressive, which made us feel uncomfortable. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend the place despite its great location.

I am posting this while i was in the restaurant itself We stepped at the restaurant no one welcomed us, was not a problem.. we ask one of the waiters if we could have a table for four as we are a family he said no then he looked around and he said yes, but no not here, well he finally made us sit inside the view was nice, as no one approached we grab two menus that were on the next table then called a waiter she told us that this menu is for 5 o’clock and it’s now 4:50. No problem at all we ordered water and waited until 5:08 then we called another waiter and asked for the 5 o’clock menu. I ordered a fish fillet with risotto which was delicious. My kids ordered a pasta and salad which also was delicious. We had one Caesar salad, two french fries and large bottle of water. Our bill was 57 euros we gave them 60 and kept the change for them. I don’t know why we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. They were not nice and too lazy and slow. The restaurant was half empty i took a photo yet they had a bad attitude unfortunately. Their bathroom was clean though and they had a kids play area. I hate judgmental people. They need a better staff to welcome generous people

If I could give 10 stars, it’s gonna be more! Super delicious food:burgers, fish and deserts. Friendly service and great vibes! Highly recommended. Don’t miss this place.

There isn't a great deal of choice next to Lake Chiemsee at Bernau, so it's good that this place was able to tick all the boxes. The pulled beef with barbecue sauce in brioche was very good indeed. The restaurant building has a lot of character, although we ate in the beer garden.

Hands down the most amazing mix of romantic fun for an atmosphere in a unique location. This is an old bathhouse and they kept the decor and layout much the same but added some romantic tableware, lights and flowers. To eat here was divine! We all gobbled up our food very quickly. I had the pork medallions (still drooling over them) and my husband and friend had the lamb. I had a taste of it and it melted in my mouth. It was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. We had called ahead for a table and saw that we truly didn't need it at 1830. It was early so we were able to sneak in before the crowd. The service was friendly but the 2nd half of obtaining the check was slow. They offered both a Deutsch and English menu for us to read as well. Honestly, I will bookmark this place and eat here again before we leave this country. Its quite a gem and a great place to take a group of friends or a romantic dinner as its right near the lake and has a panoramic glass house.

Trusting the few reviewers, we popped in for lunch while traveling. Absolutely deserves 5 stars. We had local fresh caught fish and local beef tenderloin with sides of cheese spatzel, rosemary potatoes, bacon wrapped green beans & salad. Every bite was delicious. We barely finished the generous portions. Casual environment as we sat outside, Mountain View's surrounded the gorgeous clear lake. Worth your time to stop in.
