Salmon Gypsy Bed & Breakfast

Pillows were amazing!! The baked goods were wonderful!!! The tent was absolutely amazing, haven’t slept so good in a long long time, bed was also very comfortable!! Great views, and the hosts were amazing people!!! Thank you Loretta and Pat for the stay!! We will be back!!!

We stayed in the Gypsy wagon. It was a nice cozy space, with delicious breakfast everyday. It was very clean and the owners are friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed visiting the miniature donkeys, hiking gold bug springs, easily traveling down to Stanley and redfish lake. It is a great location, good for fishing, relaxing, and sightseeing.

Beautiful clamping tent and property. It does get cold at night so you’ll want to reach open the front door to the heater and turn it on before going to bed. Concur with other reviews that the muffin was delicious! Hot springs nearby and views galore.

Such a sweet airbnb and the perfect peaceful location! Very clean and comfortable also. The breakfast was such a lovely addition!

This was one of the more unique stays I have ever been to. I was looking for an overnight accommodation near the town of Salmon - just a few days in advance left me with limited choices. However, that was a happy accident because I never would have thought to stay in a Gypsy Wagon for a 1-night work trip engagement. But, it had everything I needed and the price was right. |I stayed in the green wagon, and it was comfortable. The shower is an RV style, so you get 6 gallons of hot that you can use just like in an RV, with an on-off switch rather than just having it run constantly like at home.| It was equivalent to staying in a medium size RV, intended to shift your relaxation time outdoors. The setup at this property was designed to draw you out. As it is right on the banks of the Salmon River, the view is very special. While I was enjoying the fire pit, I saw a bald eagle shoot down and try to nail a fish in the river. He missed, but it was an awesome sight that I just happened to be looking in the right direction when he came out of nowhere.|Outside I had access to about a half-dozen sitting benches all arranged for great viewing. I used the fire pit, they sell wood bundles with starter sticks on-site and it is cheaper than stores in town. |I had a nice dinner at a nearby bar called the Dusty Mule, I'd eat there anytime I was staying at this place.|There is 3 miniature donkeys that you can go meet and pet, they are very friendly. I also enjoyed watching a rabbit and a lot of robins running around while I was sitting out by the fire soaking in the cool air, river views, and the color-changing dusk sky.

This place was magical. The wagons were very romantic and super clean and well stocked. My Husband was skeptical prior to the stay and thought we were staying in an old Conestoga wagon. After our Stay, he hugged me and thanked me for booking 1 of the most memorable overnites in our 40 years together. Highly reccomended. Host are super people.

We dropped in for a night after spending 11 days touring the surrounding National Parks. This was the PERFECT spot to stay. The hosts thought of all the small details that elevated our stay. It was by far our best night of sleep on the whole trip and most relaxing evening/morning. Cannot recommend this Glamping spot enough! Don’t forget to do the hike to the Goldbug Hot Springs while in the area, well worth it too!

We stayed in 1 of the gypsy wagons. The hosts gave us detailed information when we made the reservation and responded quickly when we emailed with a question. The hosts live on the same property as the wagons. They made us feel welcomed by introducing us to their mules, but also gave us our privacy. The breakfast were homemade, delivered personally, tasty, and plenty to satisfy even our large breakfast appetites. The wagons are a cozy squeeze as you would expect, but had enough fun accents, comfy bed, and plenty of outdoor seating with beautiful views that it made for an enjoyable experience. The outdoors were decorated with multiple seating arrangements so you could enjoy the river privately or with other guests.

The Salmon Gypsy is a magical place! We stayed in the red wagon and it was amazing. The amenities are great with a full kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is in Clyde's and it was delicious. If you ever get a chance you should stay here!

What a beautiful setting. My husband and I spent the night GLAMPING. The tent was like a huge master bedroom. No skeeters, spiders, no bugs. The tent was beautifully decorated and had all amenities you needed. The bed was soooo comfortable. The Salmon flowed as it always does and we sat at the banks and drank some wine, met a new friend with cheese and crackers. It's just a beautiful experience and ambiance. Lorret and Patrick are wonderful people. We awakened the next morning and openend our tent and the sun was rising right in the middle. Wow. It was perfect. A large porch to sit on and enjoy the sights. Breakfast was delivered to us and it was just great. One of my pics didn't download.

So I came to Salmon for business.Due to an office SNAFU (Secretary booked the wrong week) I had to scramble for a new hotel. With a festival happening this week every hotel in town was booked solid. Luckily I found Salmon Gypsy B&B. A quaint little place with rooms that are built in little wagons like the old pioneer days. The river runs behind it. It's so peaceful. I wish I wasn't here for work.

A fantastic experience in a warm and cosy space. Frolicking with their mini donkeys Gypsy Rose and Amelia was the icing on the cake. Super hosts with the true spirit of airbnb. On the banks of the Salmon with the osprey above, enjoy a romantic dinner.

This place is awesome! My wife and I went for a weekend getaway and it was the perfect little trip. Thank you guys!

The Salmon Gypsy B&B is THE place to stay while exploring the Salmon Idaho area. The caravans are unique and cozy, nestled on the bank of the Salmon river. The breakfast of your choice is delivered right to your door. Hosts Lorett and Pat are friendly and helpful with local knowledge of where to eat and what to do. Oh, and don't forget to say hello to Amelia and Gypsy Rose, the resident miniature donkeys. One of my favorite places to stay ever!

It's rare that your lodging becomes a highlight of your trip, but Salmon Gypsy B&B did just that! The accommodations and food were excellent and prepared with a very personal touch. The location is heavenly--so pleasant and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. There are many options for nearby outdoor outings. The best part of all, though, is the owners. Within a day (we stayed 3 nights) we felt as if we were visiting friends. Lorett and Pat are interesting and accomplished people, and if you're looking to get to know them, you'll find them great to spend time with. They're also respectful in every way, so if you want privacy, you'll have it. They are dedicated to giving guests a welcoming experience, so stay at Salmon Gypsy B&B and be prepared to be treated like family!
