Stopped here for an early dinner. We both ordered the ribs. I was a bit disappointed as they were tough. Not the usual fall of the bone. They had a good flavor but I prefer them more tender. The Mac and cheese tasted excellent and the French fries were great too. Our server Parker did an excellent job. The super shiver IPA beer was tasty. This restaurant has some parking. It’s also pet friendly

What a great find the "Salmon River Brewery" in downtown McCall, ID. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl my friend had the Curry Bowl, both were excellent. Mine was the best. Awesome! Just, loved it. Can't say enough good things about having warm rice, cold salad and cold ahi tuna with a little spice, excellent. Behind the bar and our servers for the night were Luke and Kyle both very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back the next time we're in McCall.

Stopped by on a busy Friday evening, the place was packed but got seated within 10-15 minutes, which gave us time to sample some of the beers. Beers were tasty and food was quite good and service was impeccable! For how busy they were, food came out fast and being checked in on regularly. While we’ve been to McCall several times, this was our first visit and regret not coming here sooner!

A fun eatery for the family, the kids really enjoyed the experience, the Elk burger was something new for us to try! nice salad options if you’re gluten free with sugar free salad dressing available too. Kids are looking forward to coming back. Thank you!

We keep giving this place a shot, hoping for a better experience, but now, having been here several times and having several bad experiences across all 4 seasons, it is safe to say it is just not good. We stopped in here on a weekday afternoon midday. It was not very busy, so it seemed like it would be alright. After waiting several minutes to be greeted and seated, we chose to sit out on the patio. Our server came and he was very nice and we ordered some beers which he brought quickly and they were cold and tasted okay. He then took our food order quickly. This is where things took a turn for the worse. First of all, there was an extremely drunk, extremely loud, extremely inappropriate guy sitting out on the patio that they JUST KEPT SERVING. He was disgusting. 🤦‍♀️ We tried to ignore him and his comments to female wait staff and the lady sitting with him and enjoy the weather while we waited for our food. When the food came, it was brought by a different server from the original person who took the order. Two people in our party ordered burgers. Both requested to have them cooked well done. They brought one burger well and one medium but made no offer to take one back to correct it. The response when asked was basically, you're going to have to take it like this because we are busy. Everyone's fries were so over salted they were inedible. I ordered the beer cheese soup, which arrived cold and full of some kind of gelatinous goo with a layer of film across the top. It looked like it had been sitting in a cold pot for days. It was totally inedible. When a 3rd server finally came back to check our table, most of the food had not been touched so they asked if everything was okay, at which point we said no. This received no response other than they would bring the check. We waited another 20 minutes, listening to the drunk guy while waiting for the check, which we finally had to go track down from someone. Needless to say, there are no more chances for this place. Side note, this place has also been filthy every single time.

Very good b eer and wine choices..food and appetizers so good.. Shout-out to our amazing server Meghan..she was friendly, knowledgeable about options and very attentive..Appreciated the extra special treatment as we were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. .Definitely recommend!

Best food in town, best prices too in my opinion. Feels like a local staple more than the other places around here do. Service is mid but honestly it’s gonna be the same anywhere in town so I really don’t mind since they are nicer than most just not attentive. They make all their own beers and they are really good, samples are available if u ask.

What a great place this is! I had a horrible, overpriced disappointing meal at the “other” brewery that serves food in McCall and SRB is totally the complete opposite. Everything was awesome. Nice decor, great service and food and drinks at reasonable prices! And the food was amazing! My son asked for a medium rare elk burger and it was perfect. We got the Queso Fundido as an appetizer it was delicious . Then l ordered the salmon and chips and it’s fresh and hot and the sweet potato chips were incredible. The beer was fantastic as well. Fortunately l live in town and can’t wait to go back. If you’re in McCall and love breweries as l do this is the place!

I am not a beer drinker but my husband is and loves the beer! We went in last week and this week and both times we had amazing service and yummy food. Kaitlyn last week during carnival and Megan this week. Amazing servers!!!

Great beer and food! Easy and casual spot for lunch or dinner and kid friendly! I would eat the Thai beef salad everyday if I could!

A lovely outdoor patio with delicious food! I had a great experience, and the service was excellent.

Went with a group and these were entrees we ordered. Even with smoky skies the brewery made it an excellent experience! Everyone was pleased with the experience, outdoor seating, service was all on point!

Always, always a great time. This time we had the magically crispy and amazing Finger Steaks with Beer Battered Fries ($20.00) and the Payette Burger ($24.00) that comes with a big ass onion ring, coleslaw, delicious huckleberry bbq sauce and bacon. Beer was awesome, as always. 10/10/10/10

Always enjoy visiting Salmon River Brewery when in town. They have a great patio, service was great and food is good. I especially liked the queso fundido! Will come again next time we're in town!

Food overall was good, but the Brussel Sprouts could have done without the cheese on top of it and the beer was worth trying. There is definitely enough space for people to spread out and enjoy their time either inside or outside (which is dog friendly). Service was a touch on the slow side, but not enough say I wouldn't go back.

I can confidently I'll be back to the Salmon River Brewery. Great location, amazing views, plus a HUGE variety of food and drink. The service was super quick and very friendly. Food was ok point as well. We ordered the beer battered cheese curds and the 16" Hot Honey pizza. The curds were salty, crunchy, and so smooth. Whatever sauce they had with it was a great pairing. The pizza was a perfect paring of sweet, savory, and spicy! With a little red pepper and Parmesan on top it was even better!

Well, they have great beer. They just don't have enough people to serve that great beer they have a dinky kitchen. They've got at least 50 empty seats because they have a small kitchen to get a bigger kitchen. This is Mccall. People are spending money and if you're not getting it, you're losing out. We're heading over to Mccall brewing. They know how to get food out. They have a upper deck also overlooking the lake view.

We had lunch here and it was enjoyable. All the food was pretty good. The fish and chips seem to be the tables favorite. The pizza was decent and the turkey bacon avocado sandwich was yummy! The service was good, the waitresses were friendly and the food came out timely. The best part is the view from the roof top. We visited on a nice sunny day and there are umbrellas to create some shade! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Advice to the cook /manager: Do not precook the burger patties ever. The burgers here used to be terrific. The last 2 times they were awful. I asked it be cooked medium and it was cold and completely overdone and dried out. It was *obvious* that it hadn't been cooked fresh. Do better SRB!!

What an incredible find!! Just off the main drag we wandered around the park and found this little gem hidden away! Everything was 100% 10/10!!! Service was fast and extremely helpful!!! We tried their appetizer of fresh chips and queso with carne asada!!! OMG!!! then we got the sweet and spicy pizza 10/10 perfection!!! And then we tried the turkey avocado panini... again... 10/10!!! Everything was perfect, delicious and exactly what we needed on a cold winter day!!!

It's Idaho ... Have low expectations... Food was "ok"... prices fair ... Service good .. Beer is "ok" here like most of Idaho ...

Excellent food, good beer, nice atmosphere Probably one of the best salads I've ever had! Fresh greens, roasted corn, black beans, fresh pico de gallo, fresh breaded chicken breast, great chipotle ranch dressing. Husbands elk burger was really good as well. Fries were excellent too.

Amazing chicken shawarma sandwich and White Linen Cocktail. Cute spot near the Payette lake downtown.

Best views in McCall. Love the variety of seating, depending on what you're in the mood for and what you want to see. Chicken wrap superb. It said spicy and IT WAS! Yum. Great job SRB!!

I love the consistency of the food and the upbeat attitude of the staff. They are usually very busy but always have a happy demeanor. Be sure to get reservation if you want to sit on the rooftop pretty much any day of the week but all the seating is quite nice.

Food was bomb! The service was excellent! Drinks were so good! We came with a large group of 8 and they were able to get us outdoor seating in about 20 mins and we were able to hangout by the bar to get drinks while we wait!

Ate here twice and both times the food was great. Pizza is a must try. They do get busy so pack patience but being close to the lake and easy access makes this a great spot, easy to order to go to take on the lake as well.

Good water, fast service for ny water looked clean water and waiter put on good fit. The ice in the water was exceptionally tasty thus grand day. Good chicken

Stopped in for some dinner after driving up from boise and this hit the spot! Also got to sit and watch a game on their tvs while we ate. 10/10 pizza

Great roasted brussels sprouts. Excellent peanut butter cookie. Friendly service at the bar. Causal spot - catch the game.

My turkey bacon avocado sandwich was yummy. My husband's Payette burger was an absolute no go. My food came out and we had to find someone to chase down his order.

Came in on a Sunday in the early evening and was seated promptly. There was patio and rooftop seating but we chose to eat inside since it was pretty warm outside. Food was good and service was fast. We would definitely visit again and try more things on the menu.

Good variety and beer selection. Good casual place to take your family with lots of options for everyone. Some of the tables have a small tv on the side for viewing your fav sports. The atmosphere is nice. The area is open and spacious with trees and lights. Food for me is 3.5 out of 5. Service is always friendly and bathrooms have been clean.

Finally got to eat there. We had to arrive right as they Lynne's to get a table because they fill up fast. I tried to order a mimosa but they were out of the ingredients, then I ordered the reisling which they were out of, then I gave up and ordered a truly... but the flavors that were listed on the menu were not what they had in stock. Other tables were being told they were out of other things including some of their brews. I'm not faulting them completely as other places are going through the same struggles but some of the stuff they were out of was a bit surprising. They also charge 20.00+ for a build you own pizza (ours costed 24.00) Felt bad for the waitress as, apparently, she was the only waitress working that side of the brewery for 10 hours. When we got our check, she forgot to remove the reisling and almost got charged 9.00 for an item they didn't even have. When things calm down and inventory gets better in the future, we will be back. We will be back, anyway, because they have my husband's favorite beer and a tasty rotating cider.

Just love their cheese curds with a Shiver IPA! The Thai beef salad is yummy too! Plenty to split but get your own beer! Sit at the bar, the people are always friendly and fun!!

Service was incredibly slow. We were basically ignored. It was hot out & we had hiked, so were also thirsty for water. We drank the carafe of water, set it near the edge of the table for someone....anyone...to grab and refill. But nope. Finally asked the Bus Boy, who had nothing to do (and wandered aimlessly by at least 10 times) to fill it. We drank that down, and the empty carafe sat there unfilled. Aimless Bus Boy would look at it and just walked by. I guess he's NOT paid to think nor help the waiter. Bun for the polish sausage (whatever) was rock hard and inedible. $15 salad was just ok.

Some unique menu and beer offerings. Very friendly, attentive staff. Nice rustic decor. Will definitely return.

Food was delicious, service was a little lacking. Our waiter seemed rushed and distracted, he had a large area to cover. Two other waitresses helped him out with our food and drink delivery. I ordered a cherry Diet Coke with my meal but it was never served so I had to ask for it from one of the waitresses. It came with no cherry. Then I had to ask for my refill and I still just got a Diet Coke. Apparently adding cherry was a stretch. Also don't try and sit outside on the patio if you are a larger person, the chairs have arms and are impossible to sit in. We had to move inside to a booth. They also allowed a large dog to sit with their owner on the patio but both times we went past he was in the aisle rather than out of the way.

What a fun place!! The service was phenomenal even though we just ordered some apps and wine on happy hour. Sometimes folks can get a lil' testy about that but not this place! The wine was lovely, the view was fantastic, and the food delicious! They have a crispy and light breading they use for everything - so if it says breaded....just go ahead and treat yourself!!

From the warm greetings and excellent service, to the unexpected wonderful seating on the rooftop with classics hits (that I hadn't heard in some time) overlooking the Lake, to the yummy beverages and food... all-around I highly suggest checking this place out if ever in town.

It was towards the end of the evening after I took my grandson to the skating rink. We were hungry and I had heard good things about this restaurant. The service was wonderful, the food was so so. Grandson had chicken wings, hot chocolate, and soup. His response was it was okay, hot chocolate was barely lukewarm, chicken wings fatty and he liked the soup. I had a basic salad. We'd try this place again.

Absolutely love this place! Eaten here about 6 times now and just tried my sons pizza this week and was blown away! Incredible pizza dough and a pesto sauce that isn't overly oily! Had the tri tip smoked dip as well and couldn't set it down! The view doesn't suck at all and the place is very comfy winter or summer. I love the staff, unique and friendly, and the bar is stocked. One of our regular spots in McCall.

Incredible food!!! We went on a Saturday night at 5pm, the wait was 30min but we got in before that. It's a very cute restaurant, feels like a winter cabin. I think they have more seating in the summer outside. Beer was good, we all loved what we got. French dip was delicious! 100% would recommend to anyone, loved it!

My husband and I went for our first night in McCall - it was good overall. We loved the pretzel, highly recommend, we shared a burger, and that was okay but not amazing. My husband enjoyed the beer, but I wasn't a big fan of my cider I got. The service was okay, but the atmosphere was wonderful.

The reviews weren't great, but we tried it anyway cause the actual food looked good. From the get go the hostess was in a bad mood and a little rude. We were a large group but once we were seated our server was great. No issues with a couple of us being a little late or splitting the check. Food was great, the pretzel was so good we took one to go. And the fish n chips was delicious. Kids pizzas were great and the wings just incredible. I'm only rating 4 cause the host situation needs to improve, if you don't like stairs then work at a place without them

Great views of the lake on their rooftop bar with umbrellas and misters to keep you cool on a hot summer day. We tried the fries, veggie burger, tacos, and spicy chicken sandwich. Prices were a little high for portion size and we had to order from the bar, but food came quickly (and was delicious) even though they were busy.

The food was super super good I got the Mac and cheese and it was perfectly done and super creamy my family got the cheese curds and they were one of the best cheese curds I've ever had they were perfectly done the staff is super nice and welcoming and the restaurant itself is super cute and very rustic 5 starts would go here

We came at a very slow time, 2:45 in the afternoon on a Friday. We ordered nachos with no onions and the Brie and huckleberry shared plate. It took 30 minutes to get any food and I had to go in and ask. After waiting all that time, the nachos had onions. The Brie was good, the nachos were dry and basic. They told us that the nachos had avocado and they did not plus they are really skimpy with the cheese and they put the nachos on paper that tears and sticks to things so you are probably eating paper. It didn't seem like a shortage of staff as there were people standing around. It just seemed like they didn't care at all about providing a good experience, they barely came back to check on us. You tip when you order at the bar so there is really no incentive for the waitress. This place would not stay in business with more competition.

The salmon and chips is great, the dill sauce that comes with is a great addition. Service is great, always busy there.

This place is very busy. Always will be. But that's largely because there aren't many options in this town. It clearly struggles to attract and retain workers. It shows. The staff here is rude and indifferent. Orders are regularly messed up. The staff appears to believe that they can treat guests rudely because they know the restaurant doesn't have a lot of options. If you complain about the food. They tell you it's your problem - everyone else likes their food. Unlikely to return.

Cool brewery their Irish stout is really good I really can't wait to come back and visit

I don't know where to start. The younger girl working the hostess position was a complete GRINCH. I get that it was kind of hot and that you guys were busy but her terrible attitude and complete disregard for customer service was astonishing. If you smile and thank people for coming it would be a great start. The Waiters service was fantastic and the food was top notch. I would rethink who I had and the front podium because that's the first person you see and the last when you leave!

Terrible food. The only thing on the menu I give 10/10 is cheese curds. Other than that do not bother if you are a foodie. You will leave disappointed.

We visit McCall every summer for a week-long family trip, and make a point to eat at SRB at least twice. The menu is robust but not overwhelming, with a lot of variety and different flavors. The Thai Beef Basil Salad is so yummy. The beer is amazing - they always have seasonal flavors and the classics - Udaho Citrus is delicious! Now that the brewery took over the courtyard and have a full bar, they check all the boxes. The mango marg is to die for! Dog friendly, kid friendly, good service and dependable food and drinks. Lots of seating options - inside, main deck, rooftop patio and now the courtyard.

Wanted to go upstairs for a beer, 4 of us...told we must order food to sit at a table...a beer pub? ok we did. not going back and I live in McCall. sticking with Broken Horn.

Nice ambiance. Has a neighborhood bar type feeling. Beers were excellent. Food was not as good as I had hoped for, but the friendly service over came that. My sandwich was messy, and somewhat bland.

This is one of the best restaurant ever expect that they removed the bear cheese soup
