Salmon Samurai

One of my new favorite spots to takeout a chirashi. Lovely, uplifting staff! The guys at the shop are very helpful w my orders. My only feedback is for em to up the portion of fish bc it’s really a tiny bit. They also miss adding the edamame one time, hoping for more consistency. I love the sides esp the brussel sprouts!

Healthy food,, very colorful and nice looking, served in paper take away bowls, very little space for seats, sit outside table is one direction facing the wall at an inclined slope. Good for a fast meal for convenience.

I absolutely loved this place! 🥗 The bowls are fresh, flavorful, and such an excellent value for money – it really exceeded my expectations. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also love that it’s open on Sundays! The spot has a lovely vibe, nice music, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll come back to!

Great spot for lunch. Food is fresh and staff is very nice. I recommend trying the salmon belly karaage.

a small shop w limited seating. the food was delicious though! the salmon tasted very good and the portions were more than enough! i’d recommend the soba noodles for the base, it comes with a really delicious sauce 🤤

Behold the salmon sashimi don petite size: $14.90 for 3 slices of salmon. The avocado is actually 1 slice but with added cuts to look like it’s 3 slices. At double digit prices, this should not be the amount of fish and avocado provided. Food was subpar as well. Salmon was average, about same quality as donki. Broccoli is unseasoned and tasteless. Seaweed for the edamame had a fishiness to it that wasn’t very pleasant. Pass by this place every day for work and decided to try it today. Once is enough. There are plenty of lunch options nearby with better food for better value.

One of my favorite lunch places in the CBD for the food and the vibe! It shares the space with The Secret Mermaid bar, which operates in the evening. The area is small and cosy for solo dining or in a pair, with about 15-20 seats for dine-in, mostly counter seats and high chairs. Most people probably do takeaway salads. I like that they play music, a nice mix of 90's hits. Recently, they've started offering salmon belly karaage as a protein offering, and I must say, it is amazing. Hard to decide between that and the various sashimi offerings. I also enjoy the soba base. Spoilt for choice! Love it.
