Salo

The food was pretty good. We got 2 sets of business lunch: 1. Borch + varenyky+tongue salad+uzvar(Ukr. traditional drink); 2. Bograch+roll of meat with salo+uzvar. One set of lunch costs 100hrn, even though the website states 65hrn and stand by the entrance states 80hrn which is very misleading. We asked the waiter about it, she said its 100hrn very harshly. The atmosphere is modern with dimed lights, loud music, salo sculptures and very loud drunk polish tourist. It's not the place for kids or families.

Stylish restaurant with majority of dishes made from pork fat (Ukrainian traditional), despite of strange ingredients - very tasty, especially sushi, or tasting sample wooden plate. Good cocktails too, ambient laid-back atmosphere enhanced by several arts made from the same fat. Have a look, smile - it just another rare experience.

Unique place. Ukrainian sushi 🍥 style that taste so nice. Funny mini sculptures from the fat (salo) which could go with some specials meals from menu on your table. Pleasure service. Urban and little steam punk interior design. But restroom 🚽 it's something spicial place, very conceptic, creative and atmospheric corner. Should try. And recommend for everyone!

I had a very bad interaction with the waiters. When I went down the stairs and asked them if they have a room for me, my wife and child I was initially speaking in Russian, they responded that they don’t have any room despite the restaurant being completely empty, and immediately started giggling. That’s when I decided to let my wife try to get a seat right after me, but this time try to do it in English . Down she went and guess what, she immediately got a seat. I’ve asked the waiter what’s going on and he mumbled some stuff while looking at the ground and away , including loud music for the baby and some seats being reserved . Otherwise the food and the decor was ok.

My favorite restaurant in Ukraine!!! 100/100 points! Every time I come to Lviv need to go there!!! Meat sushi is perfect and all food in general! Design is amazing!

Who would have thought fat could be fun? For most outside eastern Europe, the notion of eating pig fat is a bit odd, but done right (and this certainly is) it's really very tasty, even delicate and subtle in its taste. But Salo raises the stakes by turning it into cooler things: salo sushi and salo sculptures. For the latter there were salo Elvises, salo Taurus Bulbas, salo pigs, and salo naughty bits of both male and female anatomies. And though it was all good fun, the food was also quite good as well.
