When it comes to understanding hair the stylist are amazing. I had the chance to watch my stylist learn from Lenny and produce amazing styles and coloring for myself and my daughter.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my whole experience at the salon. The front desk Admin, Kathy, made every visit dreadful and spends her time harassing the stylists. I don't know if she is trying to be funny but it comes off as belittling and is super uncomfortable. She often times would aggressively insinuating that they did not know what they were doing. I don't know if they were doing things wrong but I really feel like these are conversations better had one-on-one and maybe less passive aggressively, for the sake of the stylist and customer! I finally choose not to return when I questioned how much I was being charged (it was so inconsistent and the price kept increasing each visit). She told me I don't need to tip well especially with a high bill. I could not believe she did that to her stylist. She seemed embarrassed by the realization and instead turned to implying it was because she thought I couldn't afford it. The lack of accountability and atmosphere was too much to handle. Not only did she devalue her staff as if they don't deserve a good tip but she told a customer she thought they were broke.
I will not be a returning customer and would not recommend this location. For anyone curious the cost difference was $200 dollars from the last visit with simpler requests.
