Salon Zion

It was my first time experimenting with highlights and my Stylist Brandi set my mind at ease! Since I work at Disney I cannot have anything to drastic and she exceeded my expectations!!! I will definitely be returning for regular visits!

When it comes to understanding hair the stylist are amazing. I had the chance to watch my stylist learn from Lenny and produce amazing styles and coloring for myself and my daughter. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my whole experience at the salon. The front desk Admin, Kathy, made every visit dreadful and spends her time harassing the stylists. I don't know if she is trying to be funny but it comes off as belittling and is super uncomfortable. She often times would aggressively insinuating that they did not know what they were doing. I don't know if they were doing things wrong but I really feel like these are conversations better had one-on-one and maybe less passive aggressively, for the sake of the stylist and customer! I finally choose not to return when I questioned how much I was being charged (it was so inconsistent and the price kept increasing each visit). She told me I don't need to tip well especially with a high bill. I could not believe she did that to her stylist. She seemed embarrassed by the realization and instead turned to implying it was because she thought I couldn't afford it. The lack of accountability and atmosphere was too much to handle. Not only did she devalue her staff as if they don't deserve a good tip but she told a customer she thought they were broke. I will not be a returning customer and would not recommend this location. For anyone curious the cost difference was $200 dollars from the last visit with simpler requests.

I am older with very thin hair. Yesterday Alona cut my hair for the second time. She does a fabulous job. I have received a lot of compliments, and I am very pleased.

I always have the best feeling when I leave Zion hair salon! Each person has there has a true gift. The hospitality and professionalism is outstanding! I love my hair!! Thank you Alonna we had so much fun today you’re awesome! 🤗 LaDonna 🤗

Lenny is about as epic as you can get. If you think the person cutting, coloring or styling your hair now is the best. They're not, at all. Go there and tell me different. I left with a smile for sure.

I visited the salon for a specific stylist, Christa. She did not disappoint. I am thrilled with my highlights and lowlights as well as my cut. She really listened to what I wanted, offered helpful advice, and delivered a style that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

The care was beyond excellent. The professionalism outstanding. I felt so comfortable. The sanctuary was an amazing place to relax as I had my hair shampooed and scalp massaged! Best Salon I’ve been to! Very hospitable and great service. My hair was a total project and Lenny and Paris made it look the best it has ever looked. I now feel confident, when before my hair was awful and difficult to manage. Lenny was able to keep my length while also making it super healthy! They really spent time on my hair and I couldn’t thank them enough. Kathy was very welcoming and explained everything great; in person and over the phone. Very nice people who treat every client as family. Will be returning. Cannot recommend them enough! An experience like no other. Gave me everything I wanted and more!! Come see them, it will be your new go-to salon!

Got color correction from another salon that turned my hair green. Lenny is THE MAN. Great cut great color. My daughter sees Alona who does amazing color and long hair cuts. Started seeing Anna for pedicures about a year and a half ago and I just love her. Kathy at the front desk is "the boss" lol very good people providing great services. Highly recommend

I have been going to salon Zion for over 10 years. The owner and head stylist, Lenny King, is a true master of color and cuts. Kathy King, the manager, always greets me with a warm smile, and a listening ear. The salon has professionalism as well as genuine warmth and caring. I leave the salon feeling wonderful!

This is definitely our new salon! Our hair came out GORGEOUS! Everyone is very welcoming. They make you feel right at home. I wish we would have made appointments here sooner. Color and cut is perfect.

I decided it was time to invest some time and money into my appearance. I went to see Lenny King at Salon Zion and was glad I did. I'm the brave sort when it comes to this kind of thing so I told him to do whatever he thought was best. Ok, so it wasn't that daring. I knew Lenny's work and knew he would make me look as good as possible. I've been so happy I did. Lenny layered my hair so expertly I never have trouble styling it at home. I actually have very waving hair that straightens if I blowed it out so this haircut allows me to let it air dry curly or straighten it and it still looks good. The best part about the hair color and cut service I received is that when the government shut down all salons for COVID I didn't have a terribly obvious zipper from my roots growing out. Five months after my color was done, I returned for another relaxing pamper treatment. Now I'm much more blonde, like when I was a girl. I feel I should also note that Salon Zion is taking our safety VERY seriously. There was strong evidence at every stage of the process of great care being taking to maintain a safe and clean environment. They were already just about the cleanest, most orderly salon I've every been in. Now they've gone even farther.

Treated my mother to an early Mother's Day gift and was able to get her a cut with the master himself, Lenny! I could not have asked for a better experience: the staff was phenomenal and kind, the atmosphere was so relaxing, and the finished product was amazing! Thank you to the incredible team that helped to pamper my mom and is helping to make this the best Mother's Day celebration yet! I definitely recommend not just for the mastery of skill but for a truly uplifting and enjoyable experience! Thank you, Salon Zion!

Took my son in to get a haircut yesterday and not only did he get an awesome cut (thank you Laura!) but we had the best experience! My son doesn't necessarily like getting his haircut and I was prepared for him to resist a little but it ended up never happening. The owner, Lenny, entertained him with his ukelele and they ended up having a little mini jam session right there in the salon and my son was distracted the whole time. Laura did a fantastic job and I was just so happy! Thank you! We will be back

If you are searching for a high-quality, professional and FUN salon, then look no further! Salon Zion is the only place I go to get my hair done. Every stylist there (and specifically, Caitlin Strombeck) are not just skilled and talented, but they are truly attentive to your wants and needs when it comes to your hair. Every time I go in, I leave with a smile on my face, and gorgeous hair on my head! When you walk in the salon, you enter into a warm and welcoming environment. They are always smiling and happy, and they are truly concerned with your comfort. The Color Bar is so fun - and if you're not sure of which shade you want to go for, they have a whole book to browse through where you can find the specific color you want. While you are waiting for your color to settle in, you can relax in one of their many massage chairs in the back, and sip on a complementary soda or coffee. When it's time to rinse your hair, you are directed into a serene, quiet room, where you are met with incredible scalp and hand massages. (My favorite part!) The cut & style is always dead-on perfect. They are very good at recommending products that are good for your hair, and I love how they don't give off a "used car salesman" vibe like most salons do when they discuss their products with you. They are genuine, sweet and professional. Salon Zion is awesome, and I love my hair whenever I get it done there. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone who is needing a quality hair cut and/or color, and who are looking for a relaxing and FUN experience in the process!

Wow what a place! I was given this salon as a recommendation and it seriously exceeded my expectation! Kathy provided a warm reception and Lenny and his assistant knocked my socks off! They give you extremely personalized service, focusing just on me as if I was their only customer, as I was during my time there. Prior salons try to stack multiple customers in between a service and that is an epic fail in my book. The massage during shampoo lasted a good 10-15 minutes and was so relaxing! I had my grey covered, some highlights added and a cut/style. It was a marvelous experience and I'm so glad I found my new salon home at Salon Zion!

Any time i go for a haircut it's never a dull moment. The staff is very friendly and they seem to really care about their customers. I am always offered something to drink when I go in. I get courtesy calls from the staff if they are running behind schedule which I really appreciate. Steph is awesome!!!! shes always smiling, she always takes good care of me and i end up with an awesome haircut that always turn heads ;-). Highly recommend her and the salon and the staff

This is the most relaxing salon I've ever walked into! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Kathy at the front reception area,Lenny and the staff,you get this sense of relaxation and feel welcomed.After my tour of the salon,I was introduced to my stylist,Laura.I am always weary of new people doing my hair but she told me she had been doing hair for half her life so it immediately put my mind at ease.She had a kind and genuine personality about her,was very knowledgeable,LISTENED to my wants and was thorough with our consultation for my cut and color. Just so I'm not writing a book of this review,my final thoughts are that I'm glad I found Salon Zion and my new stylist,Laura.My son and husband will be coming soon as well! They also have a spa area for nails and have an esthetician as well,so I'll be sure to take full advantage of that!

Forgive me if i misspell the names but i just wanted to give a big thank you to Laura, Alona, Lenny and Kathleen! Everyone was so sweet and nice. I felt like they truly cared about my hair and wanted to make sure that I left the salon happy. I definitely recommend and will be going back!

A fellow SunRail train rider recommended this salon to me and I am so happy she did. I went for my first appointment to have my hair cut this past Saturday. From the moment I walked in Cathy made me feel welcome and special. The entire staff including my stylist Casey, Tatiana and Lenny could not have been more friendly or professional. I felt pampered and like I was their only client. I have platinum gray hair that gets yellow from water and sun and my ends were long overdue for a much needed cut. Casey understood what I wanted and Lenny added advice on how to get rid of the yellow through the use of a toner/color product that did wonders. I also treated myself to an eyebrow wax and Tatiana patiently helped me through my jitters as this was my first time. By the time I left I felt rejuvenated and like a new person. I definitely will recommend to others and am so glad my train friend put me on to this salon!

Lenny King is the BEST! They have the whole relaxing salon experience with tons of hospitality. Love this place and the people that run it! Always leaving with beautiful hair!!!

Lenny King and Salon Zion are the best in Central Florida. Lenny has done my hair for 27 years!! I highly recommend him or one of his stylists that have trained under him.

I meant to put a review on here when I got my hair done here and I was just so disgusted with the price and the 8 or more hours I had to spend there I forgot, first of all the owners wife is up your ass the whole time telling you how much MORE money you have to spend because this isn't going to work and blah blah , she doesn't even do hair how is she going to tell you anything! They just take your money! My hair didn't even last 2 weeks and for $250 I could definitely go somewhere else for better hair and way more cheaper price! Let me give you a tip, tell your wife to butt out!

I'm giving ONE star. Sorry. I hate to be like this, but I had a 9:30am hair appt on Saturday. I got there right on time. The guy in the front told me that my stylist wasn't there yet, but should be soon. He got me a cup of coffee while I waited. She NEVER showed. I left after 20 minutes. I'm a new Mom and left my baby at home with my husband. I scheduled the appt early Saturday morning, because that is what works best for me and my family. I don't have the time to wait around. The guy told me that he called her and was not able to get a hold of her. All he said was "sorry" and let me leave. He didn't try to reschedule me or try to fit me in with another stylist. I thought that maybe I would've received a phone call later that day with an apology. But nothing happened. I hope the stylist is okay and didn't get into an accident or something, but no one ever called me to explain. So, this place should get zero stars. The last time I had an appt, it was on Saturday morning as well, and if I remember correctly, the same stylist showed up late to that appt. Now I need to find another hair salon, which sucks. This momma needs a haircut!
