Salsa Kitchen Restaurant Review Overall Rating: 5/5 What I Loved: I loved that they offered vegan options which were designed as main dishes, not merely side selections repurposed vegans. I loved that they even vegan specials featured on the menu. The Vibe: I arrived for an early lunch, around 11:30 in the morning, and had the entire restaurant to myself. The décor was distinctly Mexican—charmingly vibrant and inviting. Since I was the sole patron at the time, it was difficult to fully gauge the usual atmosphere, but the setting was undeniably delightful. What I Ate: I ordered both the vegan cheese burrito and the vegan Baja-style cauliflower soft tacos, initially anticipating modest portions. To my pleasant surprise, the servings were generous. I ended up saving the burrito for dinner, and it reheated beautifully. The vegan Baja-style cauliflower tacos were exceptional; the cauliflower was tempura-battered, rendering it perfectly crisp and never soggy. Each bite was a pleasure, and I was genuinely reluctant to finish the last morsel. The Service: Service was prompt and courteous. My server was gracious and spoke excellent English, making the experience all the more comfortable for me. Good to Know: Be aware—there is a sign at the entrance indicating that credit cards are not accepted. However, cash and scan payments are welcomed. The Bottom Line: Salsa Kitchen is conveniently located next door to Angel oNail Studio, where I often get my manicure and pedicure. The next time I find myself in the area, I fully intend to return for another lunch at this charming establishment.

Very good Mexican food. Come in a big portion! With decent price. Sourdough and beef is good too. But no parking (for car) and cannot park in front of the shop, have to park in the little street which mostly packed.

We had a craving for Mexican and a friend recently recommended Salsa Kitchen, so we decided to try it. The decor and the vibe felt right. Everything was clean and organized. Our server was really sweet and took great care of us. We ordered chicken nachos - which were delicious! And cauliflower tacos - which were pretty good - but the nachos stole the show. I got a frozen lemonade with honey - I loved it, but it was pretty heavy on the honey. Next time I'll know to only request a small amount. There was music playing - it was all of the BEST salsa songs. We are both looking forward to our next meal there. We can't wait to return!

Had been eating Thai food since arriving and had to change it up. Read the reviews and gave it a try. WOW - i can confirm the food and atmosphere is 100% legit. We had the San Diego burritos and chips with guac. It was spectacular and literally better than 90% of the Mexican food I’ve had in Florida, Texas and Cali. The green and light red hot sauces were on point, as well as the light red salsa. The dark red salsa had a Thai flavor to it instead of Mexican. This place gets a 9.5 out of 10 from me and the wife, I couldn’t believe they actually did it- trust me and give the place a try. Margaritas were on point. Only thing missing was a Mexican bar with someone mixing up the drinks in front of you, but it’s a small place.

It’s been a long time since I last came back to Salsa, and the food still didn’t disappoint us. This time, I tried a dish called “Steak Frites Café de Paris” — even though I’m normally not a fan of striploin steak, as my past experiences at other places often left me with tough meat and thick fatty strips. But a friend told me this dish here is really good. And indeed, it was a delightful surprise — the way they cut and cooked the steak made it melt in the mouth. Everything was perfect and we truly enjoyed it. The other dishes were also excellent. We’ll definitely come back more often. Fast service, clean restroom, and a convenient location right near Maya and One Nimman.

We are staying less than a block away so we walked over to try it out. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much in the way of Mexican food after living in Pattaya for a year, but CM is definitely more of a foodie town so I was willing. I definitely wasn't expecting to have a taco that is now in my top two along with the shrimp, bacon, chorizo tacos at the beach in Encinitas. These were Carnitas with bacon and avacado. My wife got the baja fish tacos and we shared. Both were served with a jicama and pineapple salad, black beans and rice and both were delicious. The guacamole and chips were also on point. We got mango/passionfruit smoothies to round it out. There was not a single thing off as far as authenticity, flavor, presentation or service and their salsas were not for wimps. My mathin thinks it would be $60 plus tip in the US at a restaurant this level, so $72-75. All in with a tip it was 1100B/$33. Pretty pricey for Thailand, but for something I never expected to find in here, we're stoked to know it's here. And I'd put it up against any meal I've had at any fancy Mexican restaurant in California or anywhere else for that matter. Aroy mak mucho!

Been here again after 10 years. The food was very tasty and like others mentioned, generous (Euro)portions. Paod around 500 thb for starter and main What made my visit less enjoyable, were the groups ofntourosts screaming out loud how many elephants they had fed today and howmany temples they visited. There is music, bit you can't hear it when the room is crowded. Call me an introvert who likes a relaxed qtmosphere to have a noce meal. This os not a rolantoc or zen environment. But, again: food is very good and staff is friendly

I had an absolutely fantastic experience here! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was beyond amazing. I expected a good meal, but what I got was far beyond my expectations! The food was a delightful surprise every bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dining experience. You won’t regret it! Follow my journey on socials @andrea_abbondanza_official 🚀
