It's a clean vegetarian restaurant, good service. Good prices. Be aware of garlic!

Excellent—large buffet of veg foods, very creative and good. For dessert, I had the chocolate covered carrot cake—nothing like any carrot cake—which I don’t usually like—I’ve ever had. And this place has been around (previously at another location) for many years.

I was really happy to found this restaurant and having lunch there. I am vegan and this was heaven for me! Even my husband who is not vegan loved the food, the service (a very kind lady), and the ambience. Highly recommended!

Everything here is vegetarian friendly, with plenty of options. It's not a fancy place and it's a self-serve buffet, so the food is not made to order. Still, all the things that I tried was fresh and well prepared. I didn't feel as if anything was sitting out too long as can be the case with buffet style restaurants. The decor is simple and functional, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, happy to answer any questions, and her English was very good. This place wasn't a highlight of our trip, but it was still good and I'd return if given the opportunity.

The place is not fancy, but is clean and efficient and it serves the purpose. Inside the city walls it is easy to find parking. The food is fresh and well prepared. Prices are on average for vegetarian/vegan food. It is self-service, and the person who attended me was kind and swift. Recommended.

Consider this an oasis for vegetarians (or those who long for a periodic break from meat!) in beautiful Évora. Staff friendly, food is clean and simple, and the seating area is colorful and inviting. Pricing is reasonable considering the quality and variety. Highly recommend.

This is a gem, nestled in the old centre of Evora, Salsa Verde serves the most delicious, tasty and satisfying vegetarian/vegan food - I visited this restaurant with my Mum last night (my Mum is a vegetarian, I am a carnivore) and I cannot recommend the vegetarian buffet highly enough. I savoured every mouthful (my choices were starter: salad bar. main: hot buffet. pudding: carrot & chocolate cake) I came away, having devoured my food, feeling completely satisfied and didn't miss having any meat. Try this lovely, relaxed, zen-feeling restaurant where you will love the host and love the food, whether you're a vegetarian or not. Thanks for a wonderful meal. Highly recommended.

I love this restaurant so much. The staffs (I think the owners also) are very friendly. They speak English and explain everything very well. Many kind of vegan menu with delicious seasoning + served warm. Self-service. There are 2 type of plate we can choose and they will count the price based on scale.

Yelp
The buffet was very delicious, diverse and rich in taste. You can either take a small plate for 5€ each or you take a big plate and pay 14,95€ per kilo. The restaurant was light, very very clean and had a neat design, the owners were really polite and friendly. I think it's awesome that Évora has a veggie restaurant like this!! Support & go veggie!

Yelp
Surprising find in the town of Evora in Alentejo region of Portugal - a fully vegetarian restaurant. It is buffet style with the spread laid out where you pay for the food in one of 2 different ways - a fixed price of 5 Euros for a small plate of by weight for a bigger plate. Soup is not included as part of the price. Lot of options in the buffet and overall reasonably tasting. Owner is very friendly and the place is packed during lunch hours. 3 stars for the food but overall 4 * as it is hard enough to find ANY vegetarian options in Portugal and this is a pretty decent choice.

Yelp
The day I visited everything was vegan. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is artistic and minimal. The food and wine were excellent. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great vegetarian buffet at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. A quiet and low key atmosphere made for a few pleasant meals on a recent stay.

Yelp
Who knew? Vegetarian buffet with lots of options but a little low on flavor for me. Recommend the small plate for lunch - a great deal for under 5 euros. Owner is really nice too + free WiFi in a cool space.

Yelp
So much spicies! So much ginger, and cumin, everywhere, the flavor of the food was just that, i couldnt taste the ingredients at all. You have two sizes of dishes, the big one you can weight what you take, being 14€/kg, and the small one its a fix price (5€). The place is clean and the staff friendly. Its close to the most important square in evora. Ive eaten vegetarian food before and it didnt taste like that.
