The place is nice. We sat in their patio area which was empty on a Saturday evening. Had a picture ready wall. The food was OK. Their clam chowder was bad. It was really watery and the only clams I had were the the three in the shell. The best thing I has was the crab cake. It was full of meat and had a nice salsa and sauce with it.

The food was great, no issues! I just would not recommend getting the Benedicts from here because the portion sizes were so small! If I do come back another time, I’d go for their French toast or crepes. Was disappointed to get such a small portion for $25-$30 Benedict’s. The food itself was good, but nothing special.

Our host was very attentive, coffee strong and good!! Mexican scramble was ok, it seems like it they used chopped deli meat, however the olives made the dish good (partners review) I had Ruben sandwich. Hot, fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. We will return.

Think small cafe in a lil Italian town and you have Salt and Pepper! Great for people watching with a nice wine or coffee! We had brunch lunch and it was delicious 😋🤤! Order the ricotta pancakes and omelette! The amount of attention our pups received from staff and towns people was adorable too! We sat outside! So nice!!!

Met up with an old chef buddy who had recently sold his French Bakery/Bread company. It was Veterans Day and our first choice was closed. So we walked a bit around the corner and came upon a nicely bustling Salt & Pepper. Its menu was a kind of meld of standard American burger/seafood/steak casual and classic French options. Alain ordered an Eggs Benedict. I had a burger medium w fries, not a difficult dish to put out. The waiter made a point of asking the temp on the burger, so I thought it was a serious option. The Benedict looked fine and Alain had no problem putting it away. My burger was dry, well done but otherwise fine. Good brioche bun, fresh onion, tomato, etc. Fries were good. Unimpressed by the lunch entree, and wanting to hang out longer, we got dessert: apple pie a la mode for me, creme brûlée for him. The brûlée looked fine. The pie was good but clearly not a from scratch deal. The filling was overly sweet, resembling pre-mades I've had plenty of times. Good ice cream, heavily laced with vanilla bean. Oh, my IPA was a good reco by the waiter as well. At $20 + for the burger, $14 for each dessert, felt like there was a missing value proposition. From Seafood: that bowl of Steamed clams! Scrumptious! Slurped every last drop of the rich Bouillabaisse broth! With garlic, chopped parsley, lemon wedges & garlic bread! 24 From the Grill: Grilled skirt steak in chipotle honey glaze! Caramelized onions on top, with French fries side & house spicy ketchup! 29 From the Oven: Organic Roast chicken, whole half! Heavenly garlic mushed potatoes, caramelized baby carrots & fennel, unique! 29 Housemade Tiramisù to sweeten the night! 14 Hot tea pot with lemon wedge, no cream or sugar! 4.5 Dined at Salt & Pepper in Tiburon several times during COVID pandemic, back in the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021... masks and all, felt safe. Outside tables are cozy and there are gas warmers readily available. Chatted with Alberto, who told me there was no shortage for takeout orders & great support by locals during the worst of lockdowns when you couldn't dine even outside.

Fresh and tasty seafood restaurant across the street from the ferry terminal. Service was excellent as was my meal. Highly recommended!

I left Scraggly Turnbuckle's house out on Bellevue after fixing the shifter thingie on his 67 Jaguar. Scraggly told me he'd have his cook lady prepare some clam chowder for me, and after I was finished with the Jaguar...he tells me the cook lady has the day off! Well...I pretty much had my heart set on clam chowder so now what...Not wanting problems with parking or tourists, I made a beeline for Salt & Pepper Restaurant, why....because it's the best chowder in the bay! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Best Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. I have been ordering this breakfast dish with poached eggs for 5 years straight, and it consistently is tops! Service is great and friendly and pretty fast considering they are almost always busy! Recommend!

I stopped for lunch one afternoon as there was a lot of traffic and it'd be a while before one could leave. They do have a good drink selection, and they offered me the soup of the day which was pretty great. I was pleasantly surprised for the finesse and tastiness of it. I ordered fish tacos and was hopeful as it is hard to come across decent fish tacos anywhere. I got them and the presentation was good- the tortillas were legit, salsa and slaw looked good, but the actual fish was a let down. Instead of a nice, grilled fish, it was just cubes of semi boiled fish. The texture was off, and they didn't hold a lot of flavor. I'm guessing they have ok dishes over all, but it's a bit tricky to figure out which they are. So, take some dice, pick a dish, and good luck.

I chose the Grilled Wild Kong salmon, capers, garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini. It was very good. Next time, I'd order the fish medium rare instead of medium. Frank Family Chardonnay 2022 from the Carneros region, which was outstanding especially with the salmon and its beurre blanc sauce. Full-bodied. In the aroma and palate, I could detect lemon, spices, vanilla, and pear. My companion had slow-cooked baby back ribs, homemade BBQ sauce, coleslaw, French fries. And Bonterra organic Chardonnay from Monterey 2022; subtle flavors. We shared a hot fudge sundae with a maraschino cherry on top. The vanilla Silverman's ice cream and sauce was delicious, but it didn't seem like hot fudge because it wasn't very thick. The ambiance is cozy and so wonderfully very quiet overall when we were there on a Sunday night--only heard the Door Dash dinging twice. Plenty of open tables at 7pm in this cozy restaurant. It reminded me a bit of being on a boat with its efficient use of space and nautical photos on the wall. You walk through the open prep area on the way to the bathroom--you'll want to note there's a step down on the way. The wait staff was attentive, pleasant, and provided gently playful comments which was sweet. Parking is challenging on this narrow street. At 6:45pm, we had to park in the nearby parking lot and walk about a block or so. We almost didn't find an open space!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great staff and the restaurant is very cute and small town feel. Benedict's are awesome! Everything we had was great along with the service.

Went to have lunch on a lovely weekday. They were a good number of patrons but it wasn't not overcrowded. I was greeted kindly, and sat outside. Decided to try an omelet with sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, They include salad greens, hash browns and toast alongside. My dish was nicely prepared and tasty! I loved the ambience, attentive service and would go back again.

First time visiting Tiburon and found this local spot. They are known for their breakfast and brunch menu so I ordered a scramble egg plate and the staff recommended the salmon sandwich. The scramble was really solid, there was a lot of meat and cheese and the hash brown was really good as well. Don't forget to ask for the ham on the side, it was really good with the sourdough toast! The salmon sandwich was good, wish there was more flavor to the salmon and the wasabi sauce. But overall a great spot and would recommend this place!

Great little breakfast spot! I came here for the first time recently since I pretty rarely spend time in Tiburon, but I'm so glad I did! The interior decor was so cute and the service was quick. I started with a black coffee as always, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Drip can be pretty hit or miss at a lot of breakfast joints, but this was perfectly brewed, not too burnt or watery. For my meal I ordered the spinach omelette. It came with slices of toast as well as hash browns. I'm not a huge shredded hash brown fan because I feel like they usually come out pretty mushy, but these were crispy and flavorful! The omelette was also super yummy! Overall I would absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in Tiburon!

Local favorite breakfast spot - we dine there at least twice a month. My current favorite is the avocado toast on whole grain with eggs over easy sprinkled with marash pepper and paired with a very fresh green salad with light vinaigrette. All the Benedict's are solid and satisfying as well. The breakfast burrito is tasty and filling. If you are looking for traditional 2 egg breakfast, that is pretty good too. Good diner coffee but cappuccinos are also excellent. Service is welcoming and attentive with rarely a wait between tables evenly split between inside and outdoors. Dog friendly!

I love this gem in the heart of Tiburon! They boast an extensive menu of cocktails, wine and food for a smallish size restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and accommodating. Outdoor seating is perfect for casual window shoppers while the intimate inside white table-clothed dining room warrants a date night out. Our favorite...the crab stack salad!

Salt and Pepper has quality food with excellent 5-star service for a memorable dining experience. My family and I visited after a long days hike, and we were really looking forward to trying their food. Our orders were quickly taken and food came out shortly after. The Calamari appetizer was a hit for my boys. For me, the Fish Tacos were next level delicious. Perfectly cooked fish for a buttery melt in your mouth goodness. I could eat 100 of these tacos. They're so good. Would highly recommend visiting for a nice meal in Tiberon.

Every item in their menu is absolutely delicious! For lunch today, I went for their Fish Tacos. The sea bass was fresh as were all the ingredients put together! Salt and Pepper never disappoints!

Such a lovely and quaint restaurant in downtown Tiburon. My family decided to come here on a Sunday for dinner. Service was spectacular! My mom & I shared a bowl of clam chowder as part of our appetizer and thought it lacked flavor. I ordered the Roasted Chicken that included mashed potatoes and veggies. I thought the chicken was cooked perfectly & carrots still had a nice crunch to it. My sister ordered the Rib Eye Steak, my mom - Spaghetti, & my dad - the Wild King Fillet of Salmon. They all enjoyed their food. Next time I'll be back to try their breakfast/brunch food. 9/10 overall. Can't emphasize how wonderful the service was!

My group of 6 was seated right away when we came for a Sunday brunch. Our waitress was really sweet and friendly. Service was quick and efficient-- we got our orders pretty quickly! We got a bunch of items from savory to sweet but a few dishes that stood out: Dungeness crab avocado toast - GENEROUS serving overall. Real and fresh crab meat and crunchy salad on the side! Seared scallops salad - A bit too vinegary but I really liked the flavor. Good amount of scallops for $26. French toast - Super fluffy and tasty French toast. Can't go wrong with this class and they did not disappoint

It's amazing to me how the Chef brings together restaurant quality cooking with homemade feel in every dish. Great combination of flavors! Every meal I have had at Salt & Pepper was memorable in its own way. You'd have to come back many times to explore the menu. Everything came out perfectly tasty. Breakfast and lunch place in the downtown. It was pretty busy so we decided to give it a try. Tried the clam chowder, tacos, everything was good and tasty. Service was great and I would go back. They looked like a good place for breakfast items like pancakes and eggs.

Salt and Pepper was homey and it's on the street that winds and it's fun for a visitor locally. I had the crabcakes and it was pricey. Drank lemonade. Feels like Europe and a different world from San Francisco. Recommend this.

We enjoyed brunch after an amazing hike, on a Saturday late morning here in beautiful, scenic, Tiburon. I had a green salad with grilled salmon that was just fantastic. The greens and avocado were plentiful and the salmon was cooked medium rare, just the way I like it. The waitress asked me how I like it cooked, which was great. My sister had the crab cakes which she said were delicious. I also had a cup of their clam chowder, which was flavorful, but seemed a little under done - the potatoes needed a bit more time. A very nice meal, and definitely worth a return trip when in town. There were so many yummy options for salads with different seafoods added on.

Great Omelettes, Challah French Toast, and freshly squeezed Orange Juice. Service is quick.

Day out in Tiburon, brought us here for brunch. My youngest son ordered the Marin Bagel, as I didn't notice it comes with Gina Marie cream cheese, he was not a fan. This is not your typical store bought cream cheese from the taste to texture. But to my surprise they served this. It's just pure cultured milk, cream, and salt and is actually pretty good and I prefer this over any store brand. You can't get a better tasting cream cheese. To drink we decided on Mojitos, the bar tender must be new or lied on his application because this was a horrible margarita. The server was nice enough to take them off the bill as we didn't take no more than two sips. Santa Fe omelet was pretty bland but did ask for a side of salsa and this gave it a little more flavor. Veggie omelet was the same. Lacking seasoning in the eggs nothing to exciting was more of a $7 priced breakfast then a $17. Over all just two omelets and bad drinks.

A cute little restaurant in Tiburon. It was crowded at 1:30pm when we got there. We ordered three cheese linguini and salmon scrambled eggs. Both are tasty. If you're a cheese lover, I'd highly recommend the three cheese linguini. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant.

We absolutely loved our visit to Salt & Pepper. The service was really kind, but the food... oh my gosh! Definitely a must visit if you're in Tiburon.

Nice ambiance, nice food, great service! Decided to drive up to Tiburon for a Sunday lunch a couple weeks back, and we came across this nice gem of a restaurant. Reasonable prices, and tasty food won us over! We'll be sure to visit there again. Parking for a fee is available nearby.

Roasted garlic appetizer with cheese was delicious as was the roasted beet salad with goat cheese (had a hard time choosing a salad - they had so many great options!) Enjoyed their Halibut dinner special. Crème brûlée was great, it was what you'd expect. Atmosphere was perfect & food was fresh. This restaurant was my favorite spot during our visit to Tiburon.

Always loved stopping here for breakfast. I had forgotten how good the food is. The crab omelette was very good. Lovely location with nice views and good shopping nearby. Looking forward to returning soon and thank you!

Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful!! Waters were always full, didn't have to wait long for anything...from being seated, orders taken, food delivered and bill! We all loved our food!! Great place to go to after a fun filled day at Angel Island!! Parking lot right next door with a lot of fun little shops to enjoy as well!! Super cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating! Good menu to choose from and super clean!!

Went in as a party of 5. Everyone was very happy with their meals. They were all delicious!! I got the crab omelette and omg so much crab!! They had friendly staff and everything was very clean. Beautiful location for a after breakfast walk. Highly recommend!

It was at a beautiful location in Tiburon, it was amazing view & beautiful city. I came from San Francisco, and was treated like a local. Staff was super friendly, caring & very attendant to customers needs (& not just mine) but everyone's. I ordered the Chicken Marsala it was delicious! My husband ordered the seafood spaghetti the sauce was delicious! The calamari was 2DIE for! I mean really the sauce was soooo GOOD.

Great little spot to grab breakfast, staff is friendly and service was quick and attentive. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and an iced coffee. It was 2 pancakes for $15 a little pricey otherwise positive. Coffee was just black coffee over ice add as much creamer and sugar as you need. Their is indoor and outdoor seating with parking around the corner.

If you're going to charge almost $30 for a "fresh" salmon burger it prob shouldn't be a defrosted ground up patty. Just really meh all around!

Service was really good and all of the dishes we ordered were solid and fresh. Nice and clean interior. Still expensive for most menu items, but given the location in downtown it seems appropriate.

They didn't seem to have made a note of my reservation when I called over a week in advance, but it wasn't busy, thankfully, at 11:30 AM on Father's day. They get 5 stars because the food, coffee, and service was impeccable. We sat outside, so the ambiance was chill, with lots of sunshine and dogs. We had a half-caf latte and a decaf cappuccino, both were perfect. The crab avocado toast was pretty good, and the side salad was nice, but we enjoyed our other two dishes more: the prosciutto arugula Benedict, which was absolutely perfect, and the buckwheat crepes with lingonberries, which was nice and light, though maybe a little too light on the lingonberries. Short version: it wasn't cheap, but it was really good, would definitely go back. That prosciutto arugula Benedict is not to be missed, and I would definitely order it again.

Excellent service (without being intrusive) and tasty, great quality food. Welcoming atmosphere and dog friendly. We'll be back.

All these stars are strictly for the staff. Our server was sooo nice, provided great service and good conversation. He even brought our little doggies some water. The outdoor seating is also nice and clean. The food was just so bland. All of it. Literally at the end of the meal, I said "for a place named Salt & Pepper, it seems those two things were missing from all our dishes.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Excellent biscuits - so flaky! We also loved the crab cakes, chicken tortilla soup and the pear salad. We didn't have a chance to eat breakfast there, but we heard that was the place to go for it.

Great Brunch. We were headed to the ferry for Angel Island and wanted a quick bite first and ran into this spot. Intimate and lovely inside with the back wall mirror that makes the room feel twice as big. Service was great. They gave us recommendations for foodand drink (delicious strawberry mimosa). Food was super good and not too heavy- perfect to fuel us up for our bike ride around the island. I would definitely recommend for those visiting in Tiburon.

Standard breakfast fare. It's consistent and good. Service is very good and fast. Great spot if you just want a solid breakfast.

We visited twice. Once for lunch and another time to pick up a quick dessert. For lunch we ordered steak tacos and steamed clams. The steak tacos were on a soft corn tortilla. They were filled with steak cubes and a nice pico de gallo salsa. The plate also came with a very bright salad. It was packaged nicely and traveled well. Our clams were flavorful. They came with a garlic topped, grilled bread. I wasn't able to try the bread, but my husband said it was delicious. I would have preferred if the clams had come in a lidded container vs a cardboard box, but we did not have problems. On another visit, we tried the crème brûlée to go. It's prepared in a ramekin, and they somehow nudged it out of the ramekin and into a to-go container, while keeping it looking beautiful. It was rich and creamy! Would definitely visit again!

Food, service and atmosphere are really awesome! Dogs are welcome. Just cocktails is ok.

We had breakfast and all of us loved it. The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection. Excellent service and the back patio was cool and comfortable. Tiburon is a special place.

Came in during the end of the dinner hour & was treated exceptionally. The food was outstanding & the service & hospitality was heart warming! Also in a beautiful location & the restaurant had a charming ambiance. Would 100% recommend to a friend!

honestly, a pretty decent brunch spot located in the heart of tiburon, right next to amazing bay views and cute boutique shops. with plenty of outdoor seating, it's a perfect place to have brunch on the weekend with your girlfriends, which is exactly how i dined there. we came in starving, and decided to share three plates amongst three people. we ended up ordering: ricotta pancakes, a breakfast quesadilla, and a crab omelette. the ricotta pancakes were perfectly fluffy and it's definitely a dish i'd reorder the next time i'm here. the breakfast quesadilla and crab omelette were good, with the omelette coming out on top. however, it was a bit hard to taste the crab, and the breakfast quesadilla did leave a bit more to be desired. moreover, the prices here are pretty steep for the kind of food they offer. i'm personally giving this place 4 stars because of the neighborhood it's in and the surrounding places to explore after brunch. p.s. - we saw klay thompson dining here once haha

Wow this place is a hidden breakfast/ brunch gem! Loved how cozy it is and how many options there are, both traditional and outside of the box. The portions are great and the flavors are fantastic. Quick and friendly service. Would go back and recommend to others.

Originally we had plans to eat at Sam's across the street but there was a mob outside on Friday right before opening. A little surprising, if you ask me. We did think to stick it out but after reading some of their reviews on Yelp, we thought to look elsewhere. Enter Salt & Pepper. When we walked up, we noticed that it was pretty empty so we asked for a table outside. We were tersely told no outside tables without a reservation. But it was empty? And Friday at noon? Were all the tables really booked? When we tried to ask how long the wait would be we were interrupted and "reminded" that there would be no seating without reservation. It was pretty rude to be honest. But we were persistent and asked again and when she tried to interject again, my dad had to raise his voice to get the question through (how long would a wait be without a reservation?). She huffs off and a few minutes later she returns and tells us a table will be ready in a few minutes. ?????!! Okay....?! Luckily after this exchange, everything else went smoothly and we enjoyed a very nice brunch. For the table, we split the seared scallops salad. They cut the sea scallops in half but they do give maybe 2.5 scallops worth of meat so it's not a huge loss. The spicy arugula paired well with the fresh sweet grilled corn and the cherry tomatoes. The dressing was a lemon vinaigrette with a touch of truffle oil. It was delicious and very summer appropriate! For my main, I had the gravlox benedict which featured smoked salmon. One of my poached eggs was a little over done and more jammy than runny but the other was perfect! I liked the pairing with smoked salmon and the salty bite from the capers. The meal was served with hashbrowns and S&P does it right. Nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. My brother had the crab benedict which featured pieces of dungeness crab. It was actually meaty chunks and not just shredded crab - nice! Mom had the fish tacos which featured sea bass and it was wonderfully buttery - definitely an upgrade to basic fish tacos. Dad had a plate of clams which was very generous and served with 2 slices of housemade garlic bread. Seemed like more bread would have been nice to dip up all the juice. All in all brunch and drinks cost us just over $150 with tip. Considering every dish featured some kind of seafood, it was a pretty fair on pricing.

We came here with my fiancé's parents before taking the Tiburon ferry over to Angel Island. We appreciated the covered outdoor seating in the back with some jade plants and other foliage. Service was great, our server even took photos for us to capture the moment. Food was mediocre though. Service 4 stars, food 2 stars. Seafood stew- not impressed, noodle texture was too soft, not enough flavor in broth. Seafood was okay, nothing special. Clam chowder- very milky and light broth, a different take on clam chowder, less heavy. We liked it, the onion and celery had a nice crunch, and on a warmer day this is good (vs a tradition clam chowder with a thick rich broth). Crab sandwich- was okay, a bit heavy on the mayo, small and light on crab. Came with sweet potato fries which was needed since the sandwich was small. Crab cakes- nice outer fry. A bit salty for my taste, which distracted from the crab flavor. The mango salad side was fresh and tasty.

Came here early on a Sunday am. Restaurant is quaint and seems to be a locals favorite. Food was delicious, I would highly recommend the crab eggs Benedict. It was cooked to perfection. My husband had the crab enchiladas, again crab was the star.

Came to Tiburon for a day hike and stopped by here for brunch. We had our dog with us, so we sat outside. We ordered the clam chowder, tuna tartare, and ribeye steak with eggs. I also ordered a cappuccino. The clam chowder was my favorite out of the items we ordered, it wasn't the typical thick clam chowder, but rather a thinner consistency. I actually enjoyed that! It was different, tasted fresh and had clams on top too. The tuna tartare was more like a poke, I was expecting the tuna to be more minced, but it was in large chunks. The ribeye and eggs were good too, but they were a bit cold since we ate it last. Overall, we enjoyed our brunch here. They even brought a water bowl out for our dog, which was a nice touch. I would recommend!

Nice and clean place ! I've been here a few times first time I wasn't too pleased but I like to give second chances ! Now it's a favorite place when I'm around Downtown Tiburon Their hash brown it's very good and I like their Greek scramble , trying to get something different every time ! I like their food I like their customer service Prices are ok . Salt and pepper is a place to eat at when you are in Tiburon

I was really surprised on how fast we were seated on Mother's Day and the staff is very friendly. We also discovered that you can bring your 4 legged family member with you. I started with their beet salad which is really good. I like that you get the red and blonde beets mixed with a fresh mix lettuce. Then had the skirt tacos which were cooked to perfection and very satisfying to the point fingers kept stealing the meat. Our 1st time here and will be back again.
