Clean, quiet, well-appointed. Shared bathrooms were easy to deal with. Helpful with late night check-in. Would definitely stay again. Turned out to be way nicer than I thought!

It's a nice little place, the rooms are antique like. No shower or bathroom in 7 suites. Just a sink. They do have 2 bathrooms with toilets on same floor and 2 shower rooms that also have toilets. Rooms don't have phones and little 15" tvs. However it didn't bother me as I was just here for work. Bed was nice and comfy. No mini fridge but restaurant downstairs in lobby gave me free ice. Restaurant downstairs had good food and service as well. .

I had a great experience staying in this hotel. Staff were so kind, and even offered us a discount in the room rate. The room was very clean. Plus the hotel is located in downtown which is great. Would definitely stay again

We popped in here for lunch on a recent visit to Salt Spring Island. We had the fish and chips, two pieces of cod, which was better than some other places on the island. We also had a salmon burger, which was quite good. Nice place. Recommended.

Great location right downtown. Very easy to get to via ferry and bus. Affordable and comfortable too. The staff were wonderful and accommodating for our whole stay. I asked a bartender closing for the night if I could have some ice to cool some drinks we had in our room and he was wonderfully helpful. They also coordinated well with us about check-in time since we were going to be arriving a bit late. 100% recommend!

This Inn gets the important stuff right. It's clean and comfortable, close to everything, and has an excellent restaurant. The rooms are small and have a wash up area, with immaculate shared bathrooms down the hall. Four bathrooms were plenty for the small number of total rooms. A well supplied shared Keurig is available in the hall. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were even given a private location to park and charge our car overnight. The only problem with our room, and it's not even this Inn's fault, is that it faced a late night hang out bar & restaurant with a patio, and that patio had speakers. Even with our windows closed we had to double the melatonin to get some sleep. On the weekend proper it got worse, they cranked the music, and I wished I'd brought earplugs. The Inn itself, love it; however, I'd likely look for a quieter place next time, or come prepared with earplugs.

The location is unbeatable, my room was clean and lovely, but there was some kind of HVAC unit on the roof that hummed loudly 24 hours a day. Ear plugs nor playing white noise in the room worked because it was so pervasive. I didn't get a good night's rest while I was there. Since I didn't spend time in the room other than to sleep, it was frustrating. I tried to suck it up, but in hindsight, it was disappointing in terms of enjoying a weekend out of the city in the peace and quiet of Salt Spring.

This is a very nicely maintained old building. It's spotlessly clean and room had a great bed. I noted fans sitting in the hallway and suspect it might be very warm on hot days, but with daytime highs in the 60F range, it was very pleasant with the window open. The owner was very accommodating on arrival time and securing bicycle. The great restaurant conveniently located downstairs is a plus.
