Room keys... not cards. The room we had was fantastic. Not big. Just really nice. Fireplace. Clean. Old school. The resto and bar downstairs is very cool. Great location.

Awesome Inn. Can't say enough good things about the place. They were very accommodating for my late schedule. Also the Restaurant downstairs has great food and very kind servers. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want a cozy inviting atmosphere this is the place.

Such a lovely, quaint space. Like something from a different time. The room was simple and tidy. The washrooms were very clean. Dinner at the restaurant was solid. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner even asked us about how our bikes were doing as we were heading out. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Although I was initially concerned about staying in a room with a shared bathroom, my worries dissipated after noting the high bathroom/bedroom ratio (no waiting required), as well as, how exceptionally clean the bathrooms were. Our bedroom was small but comfortable, perfect for a one night stay -- it reminded me of a childhood sleepover at a friend's house. The Inn is conveniently located downtown, close to shops and restaurants. 4 stars only as cost of room should reflect shared bathroom - although I would stay again, it was still slightly jarring having to walk through a common hallway to access the bathroom in the middle of the night.

We stayed here last week and it was so fabulous-i really value a warm shower lol- so I was a bit nervous about the shared bathroom space, but it was so clean, so nice, and so quiet! The front desk was so kind and helpful, and we felt safe and very comfortable. It was cost efficient without lacking in any commodities. Honestly 10/10 we are so glad we picked the Salt Spring Inn for our little honey moon 💕✨️

I keep coming back for the gluten-free pizza ☺️ Great little spot for a cozy lunch by the river rock fireplace or to people watching the patio in the summer

Positive: Location Negative: They should not be renting that room in the heat, no air conditioning and all the fan does is suck hot air from the kitchen vent into the room so it never gets below 85 degrees. Intolerable.

Great location right downtown. Very easy to get to via ferry and bus. Affordable and comfortable too. The staff were wonderful and accommodating for our whole stay. I asked a bartender closing for the night if I could have some ice to cool some drinks we had in our room and he was wonderfully helpful. They also coordinated well with us about check-in time since we were going to be arriving a bit late. 100% recommend!
