Saltbae Burger Istanbul Airport

It was early for a Spaniard to have lunch. I preferred to wait for the exquisite offers of the plane (Turkish Airlines). Another option could be waiting to be back at home. The bar was closed but, nevertheless, I got served a good pint of Turkish beer on the table (Bomonti, the best one around the Black Sea). Quick service by a smart woman. Those burgers had good looking. Next time, maybe.

I had the Smoked burger. It was delicious! Meat was tender and juicy. One if the beat hamburgers in my life. I am also adding a video , the guys at the neighbor table ordered something that came with a lot if smoke lol. Definitely coming back!

Over all a nice experience ….. beef sushi , lamb chops , beef tacos and salad were top notch ….. mushroom was tin packed and I like more organic stuff …. Kofta filled with cheese was always my favourite …. But this time it was not meaty it had lot of onions in it… u can taste that the moment it hits your taste buds

Tried the famous Salt Bae Burgers and Fries. The Burgers were very good. We ordered Medium Rare and they were juicy and not dry. Bread was soft, Fries were Crispy (but slightly too Salty IMO). The Burger could do with more Onions though. Service was prompt, but I can't say it was "personal". Overall, asides from the price, everything else was good.

The food is absolutely amazing and freshly made to order. However for the price, you don’t exactly get the full saltbae experience. It feels a bit fast-food-like. I felt almost as if i was sitting in a mcdonalds in regards to the service, ordering, delivery and payment. So 5 stars for food but mot for the service or atmosphere.

The experience while dining during a recent layover was excellent, without doubt one of the best burgers you can get, service was great, I can only highly recommend to eat there.

OK, it's Saltbae's restaurant, it's expensive, but I just didn't expect how much love does this guy has towards salt. I've ordered a Double Saltbae Burger, the beef patties are cooked to perfection and it's very juicy. However when everything combined into a burger it became really really salty. So salty that I've tried my best to finish it by washing it down with beer, but I've lose my appetite and couldn't finish the fries, which actually was pretty good (not salty). If it's not that salty, it should be a very nice burger. I drank a lot of water after the meal as that saltiness made me really thirsty.

I find it overhyped and overpriced but have to admit the burger (meat alone) was good. I asked for medium and it was properly grilled (usually medium is too much well done for me but in here it's on point) Definitely too small portion for the price tag though. I could eat 2 burgers like this but would need to spend 50€ just for 1 person and with no drink included. Insane I know better burger places in Poland alone (much cheaper too) but here you also pay extra for the unneeded experience. If you ask me, there should be an option to cut off the service bs and to take away burger for 50% of the price😅
