Beautiful, thoughtful, well appointed cabins. I loved their beach seats overlooking Resurrection Bay. The hosts thought of numerous details which made our stay much nicer. They had special sauna towels. A heated bathroom floor, nice outside chairs and decks, hot sauce and chocolate as a welcome gift, nice comforter, books, binoculars, puzzle and guidebooks.

My spouse and I had the pleasure of staying at Salted Roots Cabins (Blue Door Cabin) from February 18-19, and we were truly impressed by the experience. From the very first impression, the architectural design and ambiance stood out. The large glass façade created a stunning visual appeal, while the thoughtfully designed sauna just outside the entrance added a touch of exclusivity. Although the sauna door required some minor adjustments, it was a charming and well-crafted feature. The adjacent firepit and social area further enhanced the outdoor experience. Stepping inside, the interior design, material quality, and layout were exceptionally well-executed. The space exuded modern elegance with a strong emphasis on comfort. The fully equipped, spacious kitchen was meticulously stocked with high-end appliances and utensils, ensuring a seamless culinary experience. The bedding was pristine, well-laundered, and luxuriously comfortable. One of the most surprising and impressive details was the presence of a bidet in the restroom—a feature rarely found in U.S. accommodations but one that significantly elevates the level of convenience and hygiene. The ocean view was another highlight, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop. Despite the rainy weather preventing us from utilizing the firepit, the management team was extremely accommodating, granting permission to use the balcony for barbecuing upon request. Their responsiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. With 15 years of experience in hospitality, tourism, and hotel management, my spouse and I have had the privilege of experiencing and evaluating numerous establishments worldwide. Given our industry background, we hold high standards when it comes to accommodation, and Salted Roots Cabins exceeded expectations in every aspect. The heated bathroom floors, oversized bathtub, and spacious double shower provided an added level of comfort and luxury. The heating system was well-distributed, with two units in the living area and one in the bedroom, ensuring optimal warmth throughout the cabin. Moreover, the kitchen was impeccably stocked, eliminating the need to bring any additional cooking essentials. The availability of ample towels and hygiene products further underscored the meticulous attention to detail in guest accommodations. For anyone visiting Seward, I highly recommend staying at Salted Roots Cabins. Opting for this unique retreat over a conventional hotel room will undoubtedly enhance the value of your stay and transform it into an unforgettable experience. A truly remarkable stay—exceptional in every way.

We stayed in the Yellow Bus Cabin in Mid October. The cabin was super cool and amazing to stay in. We had lots of adventures in Seward and we love staying at the Salted Roots Cabins whenever we come down here. The Yellow Bus Cabin was very cold though as soon as we got there so we had to run all the extra heaters the entire stay. We also had a hard time getting the sauna going since most of the firewood was wet and the door to the sauna wouldn't stay shut. Overall we had a great time on this property and look forward to booking it again soon!

I brought my mom, grandma, and brother to my favorite place in Alaska, and they soaked up every bit of the Salted Roots magic—just like I’d hoped! I was so happy to share this incredible spot with them. As always, the space is intentionally designed, comfortable, modern, and the perfect escape. The entire Salted Roots team is so helpful and responsive. 100/10, always!

This stay was everything I hoped it would be. Romantic, cozy, incredible views, unique artwork and personal touches everywhere… we had the loveliest time gathering our families here. Ashley and the entire staff were accommodating the entire time and immediately available for any questions we had. The cabins were clean and comfortable and we even got a few small gifts to celebrate our time in Alaska. We cannot wait to come back! *photo by Adventure and Vow

The cottage was phenomenal! It had everything we needed, plus some local hot sauce and herbal tea! The location, across from the ocean, (which made for lovely evenings and mornings in the designated area with Adirondack chairs) was so cool to view the mountains!. We utilized the sauna, which was fantastic after a day of hiking in the rain. We also utilized the yoga room for a quick 30 minute family stretch one day. Kellyann and the crew were super helpful and available for any questions.

What an incredible stay we had at Salted Roots. My now husband and I did the property buyout for our small wedding and all of our friends and families' expectations were blown out of the water! The beds were so comfy, the views were incredible, and the Salted Roots team was extremely kind and accommodating. We loved making french press coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and all of the small details included in each cabin. We truly had the best three days on the property and already can't wait to come back. Thank you for creating such a relaxing, beautiful space to celebrate love and friendship.

We had such a great stay!! The communication leading up to the stay was excellent. It's far from the cruise ships which we wanted. Upon arrival we could tell there was a lot of thought put into amenities and making sure we felt taken care of and cozy :) We especially loved the great coffee in the morning, the bed was great, pellet stove worked really well, and the bathroom was gorgeous- not only all that but everything was so practical! We appreciated how eco-conscious and thoroughly clean everything was. The local art and ceramics were an added bonus. Thank you so much for all the thought and care you all gave to helping our trip be so lovely and memorable! We hope to return someday :)
