A beautiful location in cozy cabin - but remember cozy also means tiny. There was no place to put clothes except for a few hooks. The coffee maker required grinding beans, heating water and then using a French press. A little more work than what we wanted to do in the am. Because the cabins on the water are in a group of three, overlooking a shared firepit area, you have to choose between the view or privacy. The owner/management was completely absent - not a single hello or check in. I found this surprising since the pre-visit communication by email was very good. The place is located on Lowell Point, which is stunning, but only accessible via a fairly rough road - which has seen rockslides in the recent past and is still being fixed to some degree. It is walking distance to Miller's Landing, convenient for a casual breakfast or dinner. They also offer fishing and kayaking. Overall, I do think the place is a tad over-rated for what they offer and for the amount of customer care they provide once you are in the unit booked. You have to decide whether the view, which is spectacular, is worth some of the trade offs. I had been in the same location in an AIRBNB more than a decade ago and the area was quiet and not very built up. This was a very different experience and did not feel as special.
