We had dinner there January 4, on a Sunday. Not much was open so we were happy to find a place to eat. We asked if there’s a table free for two, the lady at the door told us to find a seat and we ordered through a qr code.
The positives: there is a really nice view from the terrace. It got a bit cold so we moved in later.
Negatives: Inside it smelled like tired frying oil. The restaurant could not keep up with the orders and were clearly understaffed. We ordered two teas and two main dishes. After 45 minutes, still nothing had arrived, not even the tea. Then a lady came out from the kitchen, apologised and said they will start our orders now. After 30 mins, one main dish arrived and the two teas but not what we ordered. We ate it and then in about 20 mins the second one arrived.
In a table next to us a family was in a similar situation. They received 3/4 dishes, finished them, and were about to pay and leave. The waitress remembered they had one more order and asked them if they want to cancel. They said yes. Then the waitress went into the kitchen and brought out the last meal. The family said they are not gonna pay for it, and pay for everything else. Then a woman came out of the kitchen who was quite aggressive, threatening with the police, denying that the order was cancelled (even though two tables around heard it including us). It was intense argument, the waitress girl started crying as the woman also told her off for allowing the family to cancel an order. I’ve never seen anyone acting like this in the hospitality industry and honestly it was quite scary even though I was just watching from a nearby table.
