Saltwater Cafe

We purchased hot seafood to take away from this cafe and were really impressed by the freshness, quality and quantity of food we received. The nicest fried seafood we have had in a long time! Highlight was definitely the calamari rings and surprisingly the hot chips. Delicious!

We stopped here for breakfast and got a table outdoors on a beautiful morning. We ordered our coffees and breakfasts and enjoyed relaxing there. We ordered Turkish brekkies and our friend got some banana bread that had ricotta cheese on it. Both were unique and we liked trying some things we hadn’t had before. Service was friendly and ambiance great.

First time visit Kiama and it is a busy Saturday and we are lucky enough to get a seat in saltwater cafe. The services are really friendly and fast. I think the food is delicious. A good place for lunch at the main Street of Kiama.

Amazing food and huge portions!!! My iced white chocolate was soooo good and pretty but my friend’s iced latte came in a funny boring big cup hahah We absolutely recommend the saltwater basket! Has a mix of everything and doesn’t leave you hungry.

The food was really good. The milkshake was very good. The service was amazing and the overall location and vibes were top notch. Had a great time at this cafe. Would like recommend!

Just arrived in Kiama for the first time and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant after browsing through countless options. This place is situated right by the beach, at the heart of the bustling street, and exudes such an amazing vibe. Our group of 5 was greeted with such warmth by the staff. The food not only looked exquisite but was presented so beautifully! However, the taste was just average. Overall, everything was fine

Fantastic customer service and very welcoming. Upon stepping into the restaurant was greeted with a friendly smile. The specials were introduced to us and they did not disappoint. We ordered the soft shell crab burger and the mixed seafood grill from the specials. As well as the chicken schnitzel. The food was fresh and generous. Great lunch to a beautiful day.

The place was chill and relaxing. It was not crowded and the service amazing. Smiles and all. Food was good and hits the spot for a good hearty breakfast. Will definitely come back if we are in Kiama. 😁

We came here for lunch during the week. It was busy and difficult to find a spot to sit but they made us room. I had a mixture of grilled fish, chips, scollops, prawns and it all tastes great. Its more of a fast food casual holiday type restaurant but still tasted great.

Couldn't decide where to eat when we came down to the blow hole, walked past here and it felt welcoming. The food was amazing the coffee girls where friendly and the young man who served us was so accommodating. Thank you for a great meal. Can't believe no one has posted a review so felt I had to.
