Great atmosphere music playing. Airconditioning seating, shady outside seating and seating right next to the beach. Service is great staff is very nice. Presentation of the food is insta worthy and the food was amazing. We had late lunch and I still wanted everything on the menu. Good selection and coffee is really good with option to choose the local beans. Gallery and shop also available and very interesting. Would definitely come back as I almost wanted two meals because I couldn’t choose!!!

Salty Swamis is hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had in the south of Sri Lanka. Hikkaduwa is already a great spot, but this place truly stands out—exceptional coffee and very good food to match. The staff is genuinely cool and welcoming, the place is well organized, and the vibe is spot on. There’s a beach entrance as well as a small shop on the main street, where they sell beautifully curated designer pieces, local artists’ work, and surfer essentials. If you’re a real coffee lover like me, with a taste shaped by Australian coffee culture, this is an absolute must-visit. ☕🌊

Most favorite breakfast place. Their food is super yummy, and they take coffee very seriously! High quality beans, and professional attitude to brewing it as well. Their staff is super sweet and caring. There is really nothing bad to say. Once we found it we came here every morning until we left 🙌🌟

The pictures don’t do the food justice. The pesto sandwich was so tasty and the most delicious peanut butter Nutella shake! The peanut energy ball was also very good! The setting is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. Definitely must go while visiting Hikkaduwa!

Amazing views to sit and watch people catching waves . Had a delicious clean breakfast - and I tried a spiced coconut ice coffee which was so good I’ll try re create at home . Staff all friendly and attentive - please remember to tip your servers in places like these tourists spend essentially a day or twos wages on one meal so must seem obscene to locals. Byron style brekkie food but recommend 100%

Salty Swamis was my favorite restaurant during my stay. The food is fresh and delicious. I loved everything, particularly the fish tacos, avocado toast, and hummus bowl. The drinks were yummy, particularly the coffee and smoothies. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing and stylish, including fun appropriate music for families. I highly recommend this special place. 😀

Salty Swamis is a must-visit in Hikkaduwa. Amazing food, great coffee, and a super relaxed surfy vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything we tried was delicious (the fish tacos are a must). Such a sweet spot to hang out, you’ll definitely want to come back!

Staff were friendly and easy to get a seat inside or out. Cushioned seats and low tables outside and AC inside. When I went, they were having renovations done so there was a little bit of building noise. Coffee was nice but food was average for the price. Hippy, boho vibes and cute store next door.
