From the moment we arrived, our experience at Salut Maroc was nothing short of exceptional. The staff welcomed us warmly, check-in was seamless, and the attention to detail throughout the property instantly set the tone for a luxurious stay. The room was beautifully designed—spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from our window was breathtaking. Every aspect of the hotel felt thoughtfully curated to enhance guest comfort. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the food. Every meal we had was a culinary delight. The breakfast offered a wide selection, and dinner was equally impressive beautifully plated, flavorful, and crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Whether it was the rich aroma of the coffee or the perfectly grilled seafood, every bite felt like it had a story. Service throughout the hotel and restaurant was outstanding—professional, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. The staff remembered our preferences and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning our return. On our visit there was a power cut within the town which then limited the food we could have but they didn’t let it affect anyone. Torches out, limited menu arranged and the food and vibes were immaculate. Highly recommend this special find (especially for sunset)! Food was amazing. Team and live band were just amazing people who kept the vibes high. Highly highly recommend.

A unique boutique riad in the heart of the old town. An absolutely stunning room which was a work of art. Everything about the room was of the highest quality and the attention to detail was amazing. Our room overlooked the ramparts . Wonderful views of the Atlantic. At night we slept to the sound of the waves. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it. The room was immaculately clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The whole place is beautiful, the colours, the tiles and every little detail. The view from the terrace was amazing! The sunset, the live music 👌 the cocktails were lovely and worthwhile. Unfortunately, the food fell short, the tagine was disappointingly cold!! It was some steamed veggies on tomato sauce, if you are a vegetarian/vegan do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else and then come just for drinks!

Had a reservation for 7:30pm, but it took three different staff members to confirm it when we arrived. We asked to sit by the water and were told those seats were for a group of three. Fair enough, except five minutes later, the waitress seated a mum and her child exactly where we’d asked to sit. Tried to order tea, but were told they stop serving it at 5pm…at 7:30pm…while the table next to us was drinking hot tea. If you want a better experience, I’d highly recommend visiting Taros instead...beautiful sunset views, great tea and dessert, and excellent music.

Booked a ‘special’ meal as we were on holiday but normally eat in local restaurants right inside the Medina. Friendly welcome at the door and directed up several flights of colourful stairs. Met 2 cleaners on the way down with a bucket of disinfectant who didn’t want to move to allow us to go up. Disorganisation when we finally got to the top but what a view. In contrast, our table was dirty and was not wiped, my chair had bits of croissant left on it, the plates were not very clean, waiters didn’t seem to know who had ordered what and a couple of times they brought us stuff which was not ours. The starter was good. Mains was very mediocre with virtually no seafood in the just about cooked linguine. Considering the abundance of seafood, I had to pick around a mound of pasta to find any and did actually find one prawn! Didn’t even get asked if everything was ok with our meal, would we like any dessert…? When they cleared the table, the waiter threw the cutlery into my plate causing food to fly off onto my dress. There was also a lot of liquid on the floor which had not been visible and the bottom of my dress soaked it up. Overall, it was a very very disappointing experience and one that we will not be repeating or could recommend to anyone. Very expensive for what it was. We’ll stick to the local restaurants where the food is superior, the welcome is friendly and they value their customers.

Best rooftop in Essaoueira for sure. Great live music. Stunning views. Good food and drinks. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor. We went there 2 nights in a row. 1st night everything was perfect. 2nd night the food took over an hour...

I am so disappointed! We waited an eternity to order ! Under the table was full of garbage (card receipts and some of human hair) The food was not bad but not the best either ! The view is nice some of the stuff are lovely some don’t know what they are doing. Overall I am not going back simply because we weren't treated
