We have just returned from Parga and loved our visit. The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and shown to our room, our bags were brought up to us a short while later. ||We stayed in a Belle Etage Suite and it was a perfect size for our family of 3. Plenty of space for our clothes and cases, and a good size balcony. I did find the screens in between each balcony a bit inadequate though. The room’s air con was good, and there was a safe in the wardrobe. The room was a bit worn in places, especially the bathroom. And I never enjoy an over the bath shower but that’s just my preference. But overall, a very good room.||The hotel is on the main road and as some other reviews suggest, it’s noisy. When the doors were closed, it was better but a bit of a pain when on the balcony or at the pool.||The poolside was good although I feel it could do with more sunbeds. Thankfully there were no other residents claiming beds early and not occupying them. ||The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and perfectly cooked eggs. We ate lunch at the bar too a few times and the menu was a bit pricey for lunch, it could have done with some more lighter/smaller options. The food however was very good. We didn’t have any evening meals.||We ate out in Parga town every night and took the hotel shuttle bus into town. The last bus back is at 10:30pm so if you stay out later you’ll have to either walk or get a taxi. We used taxis (which can be a bit of a free-for-all at the taxi stand in town) and it was only €7. Walking home late at night wasn’t an option to us, the footpath stopped part way out of town and we didn’t fancy walking along the road in the dark with our daughter. Also, it’s suggested it’s a 20 minute walk from the town however we checked maps and from the centre of the town it said it was 43 minutes. And it’s uphill all the way. Something to bear in mind.||We did walk to Lichnos beach one day, again it’s along the main road for a short period and it’s mainly downhill. It took us about 20 minutes or so. Worth going to rather than Parga beach as it’s bigger and not as busy.||The hotel could do with extending its shuttle bus service as it only goes into Parga town a few times a day, and it could do with maybe also running a service into Lichnos or even Valtos beach.
