Salvator Hotel Villas and Spa (Parga, Epirus) Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"There’s a lot more to Greece than the islands and the capital. For a seaside experience that’s a bit of a departure from the Cyclades circuit, there’s Parga, on the mainland’s northwest coast, and the little emerald in Parga’s crown: Salvator Hotel Villas & Spa." - Tablet Hotels

We booked a villa at this hotel for 4 people for 5 nights. The villa featured two master bedrooms, an open-plan living room and kitchen, and a private pool. The total cost was €2,944, including the municipal tax. • The rooms were beautifully designed and well-maintained. • The outdoor pool area was lovely and offered a relaxing atmosphere. But….. • None of the windows had mosquito screens, which meant we couldn’t leave them open at any time. • The bathroom had no wall, only a glass partition, and the window had just a privacy film. As a result, sunlight poured in every morning and woke us up. • When we booked by phone, we were told that each guest would receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which we could schedule upon arrival. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the masseuse was only available between 17:00–19:00, and all appointments were already booked. So much for the “gift.” • We were also told the hotel had shaded parking. In reality, there were just a few spots along the narrow road near the entrance and on the steep road leading to the villa. We weren’t allowed to park on the back road behind the villa. For such a high-end accommodation, the staff should be better informed and more accurate with the details they provide to guests. While the villa itself was beautiful, the lack of organization and misleading information significantly affected our overall experience.

The hotel is a little away from the center of Parga. A quiet location. Even though it was high season, it didn't feel crowded with guests, as there aren't that many rooms. Our room was worn and didn't live up to the pictures that neither the hotel nor the travel agency showed. Many things in the room and at the hotel in general are defective and needs maintenance. We requested two things be done during the week we stayed there, and only one thing got fixed. It was nicely cleaned daily, and the beds were good. We had a room with a private pool, which was a nice addition to our stay. Although there was a lot of noise from some plumbing/pipes for a couple of days and nights. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had an okay selection. The rest of the menu, for lunch and dinner, was simple and somewhat disappointing. We ate at the hotel a couple of evenings and then chose to enjoy the city's many restaurants instead. Parga is a lovely town, and we have visited it twice. We would happily return to the area again, but will not visit this hotel again, as it does not live up to its 4-star rating.

Fabulous hotel just outside of Parga town centre.||Stayed here during July for a 10 night break - the rooms were spotless, very spacious, lovely views of the sea. Air conditioning in the room was great, quietest once we have ever come across.|Rooms were cleaned every day.||Pool isn’t massive however we did not struggle to get a sun lounger on any day during our stay. Very clean.||Breakfast is as you would expect in Greece - lots of variety each day and tasty. Did eat at the hotel during the day and once during the evening - food was tasty and freshly cooked.||Bar area was great - staff very friendly and attentive :)||As the hotel is out of the Parga town the hotel put on a minibus for guests early each day and then twice early evening with one return slot at 10.30pm. If there were too many guests to bring back at once, the minibus would return to collect remaining ones. It can be tricky to get a taxi later at night as there are limited taxis available in Parga.||Really fantastic hotel, which we would return to in the future.

A beautiful hotel the rooms are light, modern and very spacious and the bed is very comfortable! Situated on the main road down into Parga it's a nice walk down to the town and uphill coming back! Also very close to Tavernas above lichnos beach and the road down. The food at the hotel is very good, beautiful pool and has a spa and treatments too! If you want to go all out they have some beautiful villas perfect for a couple of, bridal suite/ honeymoon! Would definitely recommend owners lovely and own other accommodation in parga

Lovely hotel in a good spot but let down by a couple of silly things. First few days at breakfast we had a large bowl of greek honey to use with our creamy yoghurt. However, for the last 3 days they supplied prepackaged honey which was so crystallized that not much poured over the yogurt. Presumably this was old stock being got rid off. We mentioned to the front desk but no change.|Taxis back to the hotel in the afternoon were totally absent and earliest hotel pick up was 6.30 pm. they should do a 4pm too.

Having just returned from a wonderful week in Parga we thought it only prudent to share our experience with all and sundry. Would we revisit Parga, almost certainly yes, but it would be late June time as it was busier than we thought it would be. |The best part of our holiday was our stay at the Salvador Villas and Spa Hotel. The staff went above and beyond our expectations with special mention to Poppy and Spiroh for keeping us hydrated at all times, Faye and Dina on reception were first class in ensuring our holiday ran smoothly and without incident and not forgetting the cleaners who kept our room spotless.|Couple of minor gripes: the hot breakfast food was tepid at best, it would be beneficial to invest in some heat lamps, we were always at breakfast first thing, so God only knows what it would be like two hours later. Swarms of wasps in the outside dining area (the pesky buggers were flying off with sausages), best solution is to eat your food inside. Finally, the views are amazing yet the glass panels around the pool were in dire need of a good clean which impacted on just how good the view was, which was a pity.|We’ve stayed in many hotels all around the world over many years and Salvador is definitely up there as one of the best, mainly down to the quality and friendliness of the excellent members of staff.

We have just returned from Parga and loved our visit. The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and shown to our room, our bags were brought up to us a short while later. ||We stayed in a Belle Etage Suite and it was a perfect size for our family of 3. Plenty of space for our clothes and cases, and a good size balcony. I did find the screens in between each balcony a bit inadequate though. The room’s air con was good, and there was a safe in the wardrobe. The room was a bit worn in places, especially the bathroom. And I never enjoy an over the bath shower but that’s just my preference. But overall, a very good room.||The hotel is on the main road and as some other reviews suggest, it’s noisy. When the doors were closed, it was better but a bit of a pain when on the balcony or at the pool.||The poolside was good although I feel it could do with more sunbeds. Thankfully there were no other residents claiming beds early and not occupying them. ||The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and perfectly cooked eggs. We ate lunch at the bar too a few times and the menu was a bit pricey for lunch, it could have done with some more lighter/smaller options. The food however was very good. We didn’t have any evening meals.||We ate out in Parga town every night and took the hotel shuttle bus into town. The last bus back is at 10:30pm so if you stay out later you’ll have to either walk or get a taxi. We used taxis (which can be a bit of a free-for-all at the taxi stand in town) and it was only €7. Walking home late at night wasn’t an option to us, the footpath stopped part way out of town and we didn’t fancy walking along the road in the dark with our daughter. Also, it’s suggested it’s a 20 minute walk from the town however we checked maps and from the centre of the town it said it was 43 minutes. And it’s uphill all the way. Something to bear in mind.||We did walk to Lichnos beach one day, again it’s along the main road for a short period and it’s mainly downhill. It took us about 20 minutes or so. Worth going to rather than Parga beach as it’s bigger and not as busy.||The hotel could do with extending its shuttle bus service as it only goes into Parga town a few times a day, and it could do with maybe also running a service into Lichnos or even Valtos beach.

A really lovely, chilled out, relaxed atmosphere type of hotel. Boutique to an extent but not poncey about it. We had a junior suite sea view with a private balcony. Air con worked perfectly! Lovely sized space and decent t size bathroom. Plenty of hanging space and drawers! Breakfasts were fabulous. Continental style but wirh a hot choice as well, all you can eat and a great choice of options! Had a lovely evening meal here as well - fab moussaka and souvlaki. Great outdoor bar and massive seating area - really good value on the cocktails!!! As its above Parga it is coooler than the town especially as we where hitting 35 degrees most days. Good size outdoor pool with plenty of seating. Indoor pool in the spa/gym area. Staff were lovely, not all spoke English well, but they were all really kind and helpful. The hotel has a shuttle bus into Parga - but it doesn't run frequently enough tbh. twice only in the morning and evenings. I think the hotel needs to increase the frequency of this service- it's 5 minutes drive each way!!
